Not far from where we left the train we find our good friend the Cryoborg hiding a moderate distance off. Little more than far enough away to avoid being noticed. He uses his powers to begin healing himself as he considers the course of events. He looked at the few crystals he took from the train, wondering what exactly they did...

CS might be aware of a mental trigger, similar to those found when using Kanohi or powers. Or he might not.

He feels it, but decides it is better to wait, especially if they helped with that explosion. Besides, it might draw attention. As Cold Steel sat alone, hiding in the shadows, he wished that he still had some friend left in the world to talk to. But that is the way of life, sometimes you don't get everything, sometimes you get nothing, sometimes you lose everything you ever cared about instead of losing your life. Such is the way of the world.

"Hey." Argai approaches Cold Steel from behind, having decided to return to the scene of the battle and make sure there were no wounded left behind.

Cold Steel turns to see him with his four permanently blank green eyes, surprised that Argai found him in his hiding place. He wasn't sure what to think of this being, he had appeared around the same area as him with no knowledge of how he got there, not unlike him. Physically he appeared menacing, but for one of his stature he seemed so naive..
"You." He flatly spoke. "How coincidental. What are you still doing here?"

At 11:45, Bianca pulls Sabel out to the airfield by the hand, running out to the Bullhead. "We're HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"
Sabel grins and shakes his head slightly.
Team Rwby has just arrived themselves. "Hello!" Ruby says. "I'm Ruby, and these are my teammates, Yang, Weiss, and Blake."
"Hi!" Yang says when Ruby points to her. "What are your names?"
Sapphire shyly says "My name is Sapphire." She says, before letting out a squeak at Bianca's outburst and promptly trying to hide herself near Blake. She likes cats.

Blake twists her head to look at the girl hiding behind her. She stares rather awkwardly.

"Oh." The guy seemed like he didn't feel like talking. "I'm sorry," Argai began, "I was just coming back to see if there were any wounded. I wanted to make sure nobody was suffering, after all..."

There was a short period of awkward silence.
"Did you know any of them?"
Cold Steel turns back to gaze upon the wreckage, his eyes showing nothing. Was his body capable of showing emotion he might have stared at the destruction before him in a perpetual glare. But no, all he did was stare blankly, with those eyes that were empty as his soul....
"Suffering? It is the human condition. They wage war, they fight, they bicker among themselves and tear each other apart like wild beasts." Spoke Cold Steel, his voice cold and hollow. Turning back to Argai, he resumed speaking.
"I have never seen any of them in my life. I don't even know what this place is. I have never seen anyplace like it. It seems similar to my wretched birthplace, but..." He held up the crystal slightly. "It feels... different.."

Argai tried not too hard to reflect on Cold Steel's worldview: it terrified him. That the natural state of a people is to do nothing but fight like savages... "savages" can't exist when everyone stems from a rational source, especially the source that is the Great Beings. "... Is that what they're called. Humans. You're familiar with them? I don't think their natural condition can be so twisted. Even the Zyglak have goodness and reason in them."
He starts for the bodies, trying to sense any heat in them... or a lack of cold.
Ruby throws up her hands to shield her face for a moment before saying, "Uhh, I... guess so?" Before slightly cautiously taking the pen and signing the photo.
Yang tries to keep from laughing but is mostly unsuccessful.
Squeeee! Bianca eagerly takes the photo and presses it against her chest, bouncing in joy.
"Heh-heh..." Sabel gives an awkward half-wave and extends a hand to Ruby (and the others in turn should they accept it). "As I was saying -- that's Bianca, and I'm Sabel. Pleased to meet you."
Ruby takes the offered hand. "Nice to meet you too."
The Bullhead pilot gestures for them to board and within a minute they are in the air.

Cold Steel smirks. However, as only his mouth is able to show expression Argai is still exposed to the same blank eyes, those eyes as empty as the Cryoborg's soul...
"Goodness? Reason? Those that embody the first are raised up by the world as examples to all, but at the first slip they bring them down beyond redemption. Those that embody the latter are either ignored or opposed until they are torn into pieces by their inferiors."

Argai tends to the wounded, trying to stabilize them or at least ease the pain of death. "I'm not sure that's how it works... I mean, I try to be good, and I don't think I've fallen to the depths of darkness. And nobody is irredeemable..."
It saddened Argai that the bodies here were more dead than alive. Cold Steel's dialogue was not helping.

OOC: Do you guys mind a small timeskip here?
OOC: I don't mind.
IC: Sabel gestures for Bianca to go first, and they board the Bullhead.
Cold Steel smirks. However, as only his mouth is able to show expression Argai is still exposed to the same blank eyes, those eyes as empty as the Cryoborg's soul...

"You are so naive. Your experience in the world must be woefully small. Some say that ignorance is bliss, they are mistaken. Ignorance is weakness, another opportunity to allow yourself to be broken when you least expect it."
Cold Steel, deciding to follow Argai and seeing that there was no nearby threat, began overlooking the wounded and dying sprawled everywhere. He watched as Argai attempted to help, attempted to ease their pain. He walked further in, gazing upon the dead around him. Most would have looked away from the carnage that lurked there, it would be too much to see for most, but no. Cold Steel's eyes saw everything with flawless memory and detail... and didn't even care.

Argai sounds as if he is annoyed when he shouts, "I'm not naive!" He stands from his work and approaches Cold Steel. "You see the world through dark lenses because it is what you have seen, but believe in me when I say I have seen the power of people to do good in this world."
OOC: Yes. The two missions that have been picked are not supposed to interact, so a time skip for both to their respective times would work. For the siblings, Sapphire, and RWBY it is noon, and for Citru and co it's 8 am the following day.
OOC:ok IC: At 8, Citru is there, promptly. Andrew suddenly materializes, panting. "Am I late?!" "No." "Good."

Ergraut is also prompt, while Rowan is talking to him and tagging along. "But why not? It would be awesome!" "Rowan, I am not wasting my semblance on something as simply done as arriving on time." "It's only a little bit of aura..."

"Perhaps you have," Replies Cold Steel, meeting him with his unblinking gaze. "So have I. I have also seen how, in the end, it all goes down in flames in one way or another." He turned his gaze down at one of the corpses before him, crouching down to examine it closer before pulling some of his clothing back, exposing the gruesome wounds that ended him before turning his eyes back to Argai.
"Look, and see for yourself. This wasn't some 'invader', some tyrant attempting to dominate the land. Did you not see the explosives they were loading onto that train? This was their own doing, their own hatred and desire for destruction did this, they brought it on themselves."
