In the Shadow Zone and in the upper atmosphere, a 20 foot tall dead black Obelisk appears via teleportation and floats in the air.
System calibration begins...
Illusion is used to make it seem as if the Obelisk never appeared. Radar and other forms of physical sensors fail to pick up the Obelisk.
One second, the cold expanse below was empty, the next, it harbored a Shadow Toa as if it had done so for millenia. This, "Toa" wore a wicked mask of an unidentifiable shape and power, and it seemed to match his eerie presence.

The Shadow "Toa" notices shadows and darkness seeping up from the ground several yards all around him. The light in the area grows dim, and he suddenly hears Charix's voice creep softly and smoothly into his mind, giving no indication of where it is originating from. Depending upon Karkarda's mental skill level, he may detect his thoughts, emotions, and memories being carefully read and analyzed by an undisclosed mind. Karkarda would only be able to detect that the mind possesses studied strength and natural cunning.
"Well, this is a change. A Makuta from this age comes to me rather than I to him. Your priorities are certainly placed well...Why do you rouse me from my work?"

Being a psychologist, The Makuta was well versed in his mental state and able to recognize Charix's might. There were some parts, however, that he kept hidden in the ocean of subconscious ideas.
"Forgive me, lord Makuta. I understand that Inharax has been keeping you busy, but I would request that you teach me the many things you know. I too have a bond with the darkness of our universe, but I have only learned how to control it as the other members of our species do. Even now my shadow is an eye through which you gaze, while I am forced to rely on my tangible senses."

Charix pauses in his reply, unused to being spoken to with such care and respect. Within seconds however, he responds, realizing that Karkarda is asking him for something...Something very important. While responding, Charix looks for evidence within Karkarda's mind that would support his conviction that Karkarda has no respect for Charix, and is merely putting on a show to get what he wants.
"You realize that what you ask is not a petty thing? My knowledge created a path along which I tread for many arduous years. The skills and respect I am afforded today are a result of my dedication. Such knowledge, if not reserved for me, is certainly reserved for those I would deem true brothers, worthy of my respect. My brothers of this age that I have witnessed have yet to prove themselves, but they at least have begun in the right direction by trusting in my leadership. What of yourself? What am I to think of you? A Makuta who has distanced himself from a threatened Brother-Hood. Could I, perhaps, not rightly assume that you have sought me out simply to satisfy your own desires?"

Quite the opposite, this makuta actually had a strong admiration for Charix. It was clear that Krakarda considered the makuta someone worthy of his title.
"Your assumption is a logical one. Makuta these days care only for themselves, which is why I split from the brawling rahi-fight they call a, 'brotherhood.' Your assumption is also incorrect. I am far different from the collected adversaries, for I seek true unity. Brothers of power, not chains of unguided wrath." His surface thoughts were just the tip of the iceberg, reimbursed by a deeper meaning Charix could sense. "I recognize that you will need time to discern my true intentions, and if I am worthy. Because of this, I submit myself to you entirely. Where you need a rahkshi battalion, I will send it without question. Ask anything, and I will see you through. -not because you are a dictator, but because Brothers are required to trust one another."

OOC: Nice profile picture. Sorry for the wait.
IC: Charix's eyes spark with pleasure. "Very good. I see we operate on the same page. I will indeed..."
Charix's words suddenly drop off like a rock and his eyes suddenly flare with great energy. "Here."
Charix suddenly shifts gears and speaks to Krakarda in a quick, authoritative way. "My brother, Grand lord Karunax has returned. I require your aid. Travel with me to New Xia to welcome our leader back. We must take the occasion to gain his trust while also standing together against Inharax. Somehow we must convince Karunax to once and for all reject and execute Inharax for high crimes against the Brother-Hood. Antermina and Zenilla have pledged themselves against Inharax, and we have the chance, if we play our cards right, to forever condemn Inharax in the eyes of our leader. Come!"

Charix vanishes.
As if he had never been there, Krakarda ceased to exist.
Thanks to the Manas ship, Tredixs has now ended up here in the Zone of Darkness. Tredixs himself still has that smile underneath his mask, because this place means one important thing, the hiding place of Charix. And known Charix, he probably still has some tools laying around here somewhere that he can use to get out of here. But when Tredixs starts to feel out the environment with his powers of Magnetism, he finds a lot more than he expected.
Active troops, ships, fortresses.....Charix has been busy it seems. This won't end well..........
Tredixs flies on over to the nearest location of activity.

Without having to look very far at all, Trexdis comes across what appears to be a small, squarish bunker type fortification with a wealth of long, thick rods protruding from the top and reaching a few yards into the sky. The fortification resembles some sort of sensor tower. Trexdis may notice a flurry of activity inside the fortification just before the sensor tower becomes completely intangible.
Trexdis is hailed by a mental message, and a quite, yet sly voice speaks. "What have we here? A Toa? in the domain of the lord of Chagrin? Speak your piece Toa before I choose to incinerate you."

"Well, well. You seek my lord? Very well. I shall inform him of your arrival."
About ten seconds pass before Trexdis hears Charix's voice. Charix is clearly anxious to be focusing his attention elsewhere, as he replies in an energetic, brisk fashion.
"Deeds done are always undone. Enemies smashed always resurrect themselves. Has the lesson I once taught you been untaught as well?! You insist upon meddling in my affairs? Perhaps this is my inevitable pain I am to endure lest I be to pleased with the Grand Karunax's return."

"I was peaceful and even worked with the Brotherhood to save this planet from destruction. I am not here to meddle and did not come here of my own free will. One of Inharax's massive ships sent me here as a way to get rid of me when I attempted to bring retribution for all the deaths and destruction he caused in New Artahka and Atero Nui. All I request is that I be let back into the world and as long as no harm is done to the Matoran I will not intervene."

Charix pauses for a few seconds before responding. "...Why of course. Since you have asked nicely I shall be more than pleased to release you. Your release, however, can only be accomplished in one way. My resources are not as distributed as I would want. My watcher will guide you to where you need to be."
The voice from earlier speaks, again, however, this time, it speaks out loud. "You are prepared to travel with me to the gateway?"
Trexdis may sense that the voice comes from a Toa like being, who is flanked by two, short metallic obelisk like structures and four Boggarak Deployers.

"Yes, I am ready."
Tredixs and the Toa and his gaurds are teleported away. Appearing in the shadow zone right around Foros's Hanger in Le-Bo-Wahi.

OOC: What are these disturbances?
Sorry for my absence, I have been busy with school. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what has happened over the course of the past few days.

After the majority of the BoM fought Inharax and attempted to attack Destral, Inharax mounted a global mission to wreak havoc, forcing the Makuta to either abandon their attack or let the world collapse.
