The Manas bounces off the other due to redundant shielding. The internal attacks diminished, the Manas fight harder. The Toa will eventually be exhausted.
That is where the AI is wrong. As I said before, Vatomak has unlimited EE, and as such it will be a very long time before he grows weary. He drags the other manas to the ground as its entirety bursts into shadowfire. Then he causes an explosion of shadowfire inside the original manas, covering every available surface far faster than it can be extinguished. At the same time he attempts to absorb massive portions of the iron in the manas, hoping to absorb vital parts such as computers while burning everything else.
The first Manas resists with Gravity, partially because if it heads toward the ground it will dig a kilometer-long hole through the planet. It ignores the shadowfire, hoping that its latent fire/heat resistance will protect it.
The second (original) Manas does the same regarding shadowfire and uses Fragmentation on the tank next to Vatomak, causing it to spontaneously explode.
Attempting to absorb any portion of the Manas would be a horrible idea, as it would drag the behemoth closer to him.

That is the Manas' first mistake. Their heat resistance barely slows down the shadowfire at all, and as it is being unhindered it blazes through the manas. Within seconds the entirety of both manas are in a horrendous state of disrepair, loosing most of their functions as the shadowfire burns away various components. Shields, weapons, the various power manipulators, and whatever system keeps the manas flying go offline, sending them two burning islands crashing to the ground. Vatomak turns intangible as the tank next to him explodes, the shrapnel passing harmlessly through his ghostly form before he returns to normal.

OOC: I don't understand. Regardless of the nature of the fire, the combined heat resistance on these things could withstand a trip perilously close to the sun and back. Just because it's Shadow and Fire doesn't mean it can somehow burn better.

OOC: It doesn't burn better, it burns differently. It doesn't so much burn as it does consume. The fire part of shadowfire will still melt things, and the heat resistance would have saved the manas if that's all the shadowfire did. But it's not, so it didn't.

OOC: You haven't explained what it does and why the Manas cannot just do the same thing.

OOC: The shadowfire came about because of the unique nature of the Kaita Vatomak, mostly because of Jalkron and Ender. You might remember Charix once split Jalkron into two beings, one with all of his light, the other with his shadow. The shadow Jalkron had control over shadowfire due to all the corruption energies in his system and the fact that he was Jalkron's shadow half. Jalkron refusing his two halves returned his powers to normal, but all the corruption energies are still inside him, which is part of the reason why he does not follow the toa code. When he fuses with Ender (and Dralik, but that's not important) Ender supplies the shadow and Jalkron the corruption and fire.
Basically, the shadowfire's effect is something between corrupting/disrupting and burning, as that is essentially what it is.

OOC: Ah. I see. And now I remember what the Manas could and should have done the whole time.
IC: Just as most of it has fallen to pieces, it copies the shadowfire power. It then submits to the twisted flames.

The shadows in the area grow slightly darker. Mind reading is utilized secretly to discern the inhabitants of this establishment and surrounding area. The area is mapped by radar.
Edna appears right behind him and pushes him down motioning him to be quiet.
Torshiek complies. He keeps an eye out for any living creatures to use his mask on...
Fleshsinger burrows into the vicinity, before experimentally shrinking herself and seperating into a hundred tiny-versions of herself, which all walk towards Torshiek. Once near, they reform to show the full Fleshsinger. She frowns, pointing at a pair of rahkshi and a boggarak. A Rahkshi of Teleportation and a Rahkshi of Molecular Disruption. She, using hand gestures, asks if she can eat them.
