Radar and sonar would fail. I am not sure about how elements would detect something though.
I basically have the Obelisk shadow shielded. It has a dimensional shield about it.
Per the Toa Mata, they can feel the presence of the element they control.
Okay. Since the Obelisk is dimension-ally shielded, I doubt the element users would be able to sense some of the limited elemental powers contained within.
High above the area, and in the upper atmosphere, four "Defender" Obelisks teleport into position around the one originally placed. Virtually undetectable due to shadow shielding and illusion, these floating pillars begin to drift about the area, preparing their systems for operation.
20 E-X carrier ships warp into the airspace surrounding the Headquarters. Five of them land, the 20 E-X inside each getting out and proceeding to search the Makuta base.

Whoaaaahohoho this is still an active-duty installation
The carrier ships are fired on by massive flak guns and SAMs.

The carrier ships are fired on by massive flak guns and SAMs.
The high speed projectile force fields prevent the munitions from the flak guns from impacting the carrier ships. The high intensity laser canons on the ships fire upon the missiles, though a few make it through. When they impact the shields they detonate, the resulting flames passing through the shields causing strong burn damage to the exteriors. A panel opens on the bottom of one of the carrier ships. A decently large pill shaped device is dropped from the opening. If it impacts on the Headquarters then an EMP is triggered.
OOC: Just in case you find the special force fields to be some form of metagaming, I'm going to state that my ships have had force fields that block high speed impacts for a couple years now.

The headquarters shoots the pill. A gamma ray beam is pointed at one ship.

The headquarters shoots the pill. A gamma ray beam is pointed at one ship.
The beam has no effect at all, as the ship's inhabitants are entirely non organic. All 20 ships hover above the facility, having not expected this resistance. They take a moment to think.

The gamma rays should do something, but noting that none of the inhabitants are organic the transition is made to microwaves.

The ship exposed to the microwaves remains in place for a second. Abruptly it's engines fail and its inhabitants drop to the floor. The ship falls out of the air, the others taking note and warping away, having not expected this resistance.

A few RMS agents and Rahkshi step outside and surround the craft, weapons at the ready.
