Two old Turaga shake their heads at the sorry state of the city. Having agreed on a course of action, they split up. A non-shadowfied Ta-matoran follows each.
They run into several ta-matoran who attempt to pin the uncorrupted them down.
They are... Blasted with white noise sonic blasts from one the the turaga's staves. Having a wide variety of frequencies in the blast, this is somewhat likely to shatter the mental barrier. If it does not, they are intercepted with kanoka from the prepared matoran, teleporting the one back and encasing the other in ice. The yellow turaga of fire has an idea and uses his noble mask of mutation to give his friendly matoran stronger forms in a manner akin to rebuilding as well as embedding bright lights along their armor. If the shadow matoran try again, they will have far more difficulty... They split up, as they already have.

They remain shadowxmatoran, but do not get too close to the remaining Ta-matoran.
The sky turns black. Thunder cracks, and rain pours from the sky in an unbroken sheet. Water runs through the streets, washing the metru clean of EP...
An agori, now made of solid flame, slips into the forge. Nervously avoiding the stares of whatever matoran are still working, he gets to work making armor that won't melt or burn off him.

He succeeds in his efforts. Hau and Kiril work together very well, especially in armor.

He goes back to doing his job as usual and playing with the flames via his new powers.
Thanks to Bodayik and Avok, the telescreens are functional.
First, it showed multiple sobbing unarmed matoran from all elements, including many other races all being rounded up underground. They were in cuffs, the prison guards directing them wore Red masks and brandished crude weapons. A security code sat in the lower left corner of the screen, confirming the accuracy of the Talinist footage. In an instant, the guards lashed out and exterminated the prisoners, leaving none left to live.
Members of the original Atero-Nui Guard burst in and tried to capture the Red matoran while others checked the vitals of the recently deceased.
The scene changed to a new location, one full of rubble and despairing Av-matoran. Judging by the date, it was live.
"Why are you upset, Toa?" A voice from behind the camera asked.
"UPSET?!?! I'm RAGING! Do you not see this dark-carnage that was once Av-Metru?!?! Talin and the RMS turned the citadel into a karzing metorite! They evacuated their loyalists from the area before MURDERING half a city and crippling the rest! Are they the saviors you put your faith in?!" Leka unknowingly activated her mask, making all who heard her speech live start to agree with her. "Who do you see healing cripple-matoran? Any Red masks? No! The entirety of those you throw-cast out of Mata-Nui's great city are here helping your wounded neighbors! Xians, Skakdi, Guardsmen, Toa, and reject matoran are undoing dark-hatred your leader set in motion!"
The toa of Air paused, trying to calm her own despair.
"Why would you even follow-worship him? He says all toa are evil, but when he becomes one, he is the exception? He wrongfully blamed toa for bullying city with their power, but when he truly does abuse his power, you ignore it? WAKE UP! You are supporting a cross-wired lunatic bent on world domination!"
The Toa of Air took a deep breath, then let it out.
"Av-Metru will not-never be rebuilt. Sure, buildings can be erected where it once was, but lost-lives of innocent cannot be replaced. No hope of Blue Star can ever revive vaporized matoran! Ever-eager Talin let Brotherhood deal long-last blow, not caring for lives of those without Red masks. Why should you follow an arrogant bully with backward-view? One who orders quick-murder of slaves to prevent their freedom? No. I will not let you kill eachother. I'm not abandoning you to his cruel-fist."
Leka pierced the air in a cyclone of movement, taking to the sky in search of the Red Toa.
