"Idiots, the lot of them. They just smiled slaughtering their own. Won't be getting signatures from them now. No, I'm going to do what I should have done years ago....."
Feand catches sight of Tredixs flying above and fires off a Thornax at his old friend. Tredixs easily avoids the shot, sensing the launcher's mechanism activate and turns around. Seeing his old friend, Tredixs just flies down peacefully.
"Alright, you got my attention. What needs to be done?"
Feand is taken aback, surprised by Tredixs' eagerness. "The Skrall are showing that they are just as evil as they ever been. I think it's about their empire ended. I was hoping that maybe you could create some of those war machines, the Skrall called them Baterra."
"I'm going to need more than..." Tredixs stops as he looks around and starts levitating. "...You better find a safe place to hide. Something is happening and it doesn't feel good. There's...."
He doesn't even finish his thoughts before taking off.
"....That can't be good. How fond are you of Great Being prisons Tulla?"

"... What?" Tulla glares at Feand, telepathically giving off a clear sense of her hatred for them. Or perhaps it's straight up hatred for the Great Beings.

"It's empty, there are no more Great Beings there. Look, these things survived the Shattering and if they survived that I'm sure it can survive what's ever coming."

High above the area, and in the upper atmosphere, five "Defender" Obelisks teleport into position. Virtually undetectable due to shadow shielding and illusion, these floating pillars begin to drift about the area, preparing their systems for operation.

"..." "You better not be lying."
"Read my mind if it will make you feel better. Trust me, nothing is left alive there."
When a new morning greets the city of Roxtus, its inhabitants are all dead. Taken by the Iron Scorpion in the night with shapeshifting demons and spells of madness inflected on their minds. No-one escaped, no-one was spared, and the final remnants of the Skrall were wiped out from existence.
