Another Kapurahk spots him. "Hello, you making sure everyone is doing their job, eh? I don't recall slow rahkshi having your armor color though... Bah, we've got the dullest jobs, don't we?"
"Yeah... Say, what did they do with the rahkshi that got that weird virus?" The Vorahk gets within staff distance of the Kapurahk.
"Don't worry, I checked. Rumor has it that a virus broke out and cut the control makuta had over us, so The Makuta didn't want any of the rahkshi here to get any ideas. Turns out, we're all loyal. The infected Rahkshi are in the Quarantine zone, cell ( |•)."

"Ah! Good to know."
The Vorahk pokes the rahkshi in the kraata and walks off to find cell ( |•).

"...dude, that was weir-" He falls to the ground and begins to convulse... slowly.
Cell ( |•): "...it's the Vorahk! Help! get us out of here!" A guarding Klarahk quickly power screams directly towards the invader.

The Vorahk sees the klarahk and slows the incoming power scream to a crawl before draining as much of the Klarahk's strength as is possible at a distance. "Where are the keys?"

"No keys, just a hau field. I can't get through them..." The Botarahk inside flashes from existence, only to reappear back in the same spot. "The device over there, with the kanoka inside. Do you see it?"

"Yup." The Vorahk breaks the kanoka responsible for the field with his staff.

The Lerahk leaps out of the holding cell and lands right in front of the Vorahk. "You were right." The poison staff is commanded to soar through the air and be caught by Lerahk's hands. "Thank you, rahkshi-brother."

"No problem. Can I borrow your Botarahk for a moment? Some friends of mine are stuck out in the Wastelands."

"Did I hear my power identity?" The Botarahk looks up after checking his staff for possible damage.
Three legions... Some are exposed to kal energies, creating more rahkshi with Makuta-level power.
The 42-kraata fusion melts into a liquid, it's DNA now an almost exact copy of a Makuta, but it is still a kraata, so it does not evolve into a gas.
Multiple tests are run, exposing rahkshi to Hordika venom, the viruses responsible for creating Gafna and Burnak, modified viruses responsible for Skakdi elements, and of course, Energized Protodermis.
Few rahkshi survive the Energized Protodermis, but the other tests bring forth promising results! Hordika venom: The rahkshi sprout rhotuka launchers and have all five senses enhanced, but they are now extremely vicious. Element viruses: The rahkshi lose their powers, but pick up Skakdi/rahi-level power over the elements and do not need to team up. Nine out of ten become users of one of the prime six elements, but Iron is yet to be in use.
The one rahkshi who _did_ survive the Energized Protodermis is subjected to the element viruses and kal energies.
The first, only, and last rahkshi of Iron is born.
"Yes. There's a patch of darkness roughly 200,000 kio into the wastelands with six friendly rahkshi. Can you bring them here?"
"Normally, no. But the virus you gave us... it's enhanced my powers. I'll see what I can do."
In a flash, the said rahkshi arrive with chunks of burning rock at their feet.
"It worked."
Vo looks more confused. Barrage looks equally confused but extraordinarily interested by his surroundings Randint looks blank and tries to teleport one of the rocks into his hand.
"Makes Rahkshi stronger. And gives them more powers. And frees them from Makuta control. And spreads."
"Thank you. I don't believe we caught any of your names. I'm Vo, he's Barrage, and he's Randint."
"Hi. I should probably think up a name for myself." The Guurahk nods in greeting to each of the three. "And I." Krarahk pokes the rock teleported with them with his staff. "I'm going by Krarahk until I think of a better name. Isn't it so imaginative?" He gingerly picks up a piece of burning rock with a shadow hand, making sure not to throw it at anyone by accident. "Is this the stuff you guys' lightproof armor is made of?"
