A 2-kio wide circle has lost its hostility to house a massive collection of giant rings. These rings are composed of metals containing elemental energies, and when they spin, things out in orbit can be targeted.
Inside each ring are rahkshi who work valiantly to keep the machine up and running.
Agegis, Blisstil, and Entrupia approach the Emitter, with Agegis using his force field powers to protect the group from the elements. Blisstil occasionally using her Crast powers to do the same from forces Agegis can't defend against.

The place seemed dead, cold, and abandoned.
Well this will make things easier. The group starts planting bombs on the rings.

No responce.
Eventually, after quite some time, they place bombs on the rings spaced about ten feet between each bomb. They walk back to a safe distance and Agegis and Blisstil uses their forcefield and Crast powers to protect themselves as they set off the bombs.

For an unknown reason, the bombs failed to detonate.
"...You're not disrupting the signal?" Agegis ask Entrupia, looking towards her.
"Nope, it's not me this time."
Blisstil just launches a spear into one of the bombs to hopefully cause a chain reaction of them all exploding.
Blisstil sends a wave of Crast repulsion at the rings in attempt to send them flying.
The rings were massive enough to send Blisstil flying backwards in a fashion similar to repelling the ground. A very shrill, very short screech came from the kios wide structure.

Agegis eventually catches the flying Blisstil with a force field construct, essentially a reversed side so that she skids to a stop instead of a hard and sudden crash. Entrupia approaches the rings, curious from the screech, and starts applying her Incomprehension powers on it, attempting to make the vision and thoughts of whatever is inside to go bonkers.

Nothing living resided in the Emitter. Only two things could have made that noise, a massive protosteel structure under stress, or some eldritch being. Probably the former.

She places one of the last bombs the group has, a teleportation bomb, and sets coordinates to send it into the Charged Sea. She backs up and activates the bomb.

If they were watching closely, they might have noticed the bomb detach from the structure and hang in mid air...

They would notice and the group approaches the bomb. They try to sense to see where the energy is coming from to cause the bomb to float.
