"To answer you question. I don't remember who I am. I can remember facts and people, but not my identity."
The heavily-damaged robot turns away from his chore, looking up at Decu with dead, glassy eyes. Yellow sparks constantly spewed from his exposed joints, eerily visible through the scarred and torn armor plating covering him. Parts of him seemed cobbled together, as if taken from many and condensed into a singular form. If he was aware of such things, Decu might recognize it as the same model of soldier that Deviox had once attacked Atero Nui with.
Just as the sparks were flying out of the soldier's armor, so too were the memories emerging from the back of Decu's mind.

"Then who and what do you remember?"
"Places, books, and what I assume to be Great Beings."
A number of cannons point towards it and utterly obliterate it while it's still trapped in place.
With each blast it becomes far more resistant to the next. It regenerates at a rapidly accelerating rate as it finishes adapting to the field.
Each blast is large and powerful enough to entirely consume the lizard, disintegrating it in its entirety and not leaving a single scrap to regenerate.

In that case
The first blast destroys it, except for the tip of it's tail, which adapted as the rest of it was busy dying. It begins to grow back into a full tail.

BOOM
A second blast rips through the tail, finishing the job. Even if it had adapted slightly to it, the equal force over the much smaller volume of the tail would've been much more than needed to incinerate it.

It did not adapt slightly It adapted entirely and continued adapting as it healed Otherwise it would have been destroyed with the first shot

In that case, it feels a hand pick it up and it suddenly finds itself in a room, deep within the Stronghold. No powers held it in, nothing for it to adapt to. Simply extremely thick and hard protosteel surrounding it.
A team of robotic scientists enter the room and begin using ZE to attempt to separate the adaption power from the matter it occupies in an attempt to isolate and study the strange phenomenon. The process is, probably, quite painful for the creature.

As the ZE works it's way in, the power fights back, soon flushing it out like unwanted sweat. The creature tenses in pain, despite being merely a tail at the moment.
The Time Dilator may notice something it has seen passing over the region before; A sunbeam drone. The machine is like a caltrop mixed with a hand, limblike claws - or perhaps clawlike limbs - extending from a central node, while a single limb-claw pierces the air ahead of it. This time, however, is different. This sunbeam drone is accompanied by nine like machines, each currently composed of the same yellow light. Eight of them freeze in place above the Stronghold, while the ninth and tenth drift down towards the stronghold. Though the movement is cautious - even sluggish - to themselves and perhaps the Time Dilator, any normal observer would percieve little change in their immense speed.

The Time Dilator notices the being.
Energy crackled around his hands. They were in his domain. They would pay the price. Of immense size and power, beams of energy launched from his hands, consuming them one by one.

The first shatters as it is struck, disintegrating into countless gleaming shards on impact. It's power rapidly fades, and the shards turn from ethereal, glassy light into mere metal. They fall upon the fortress, harmless to basically anything. The other nine waste no time, each surging off in a different, upward-angled direction at the speed of light to flee this creature of unparalleled speed. They broadcast a single message in unison, directed to NA... CF Hostile Protected Mayday
"So, failed Nynrah experiment? Or another victim of a Great Being?"
"I...I...can't remember...."
"Either way, I don't want you in my head... but I absorbed your mask, so you're not going back the way you came. We are two spirits sharing one body. It just so happens that I have an Iden." Without warning, The Mask's spirit and mind was forced out, allowing Decu to once again take up the extra space.
