"Zealous to what? If she's already in charge, then conquering Foros by force will hardly be a worthy expense of time. If we can get back in touch with her, it will be ours without conflict."
"Can someone tell me what Foros is?!" Says the Toa of fire in a angry tone as a flame on his hand bursts and disappears
He gains a cold response, by a new voice. "A Toa without restraint or control, is a Toa better off dead." The voice of Makuta Jellica intones. Her smooth armor, of light blue and white, mixes with some sea green. Her oceanic designs compliment her tentacles. "Makuta Jellica, reporting for duty."
"Toa? Sadly you are mistaken. I am no ordinary Toa, I am a Toa/Makuta hybrid, and killing me won't do you any good. As I am allied with Charix."

Xaia glances over as the possibility of a fight appears. She pulls out her sword to starts cleaning the dust and grime off of it, and as a preparation in case things get ugly. But who was she kidding? These dang devils wouldn't die that easily.

She laughs. "How quaint! A hybrid, how adorable! You believe yourself to be special, or unique? Foolish maggot. Darling, you are not a Makuta, and you never will be!" She smiles sweetly at him, before turning to Charix. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen. You are now allying with shameless mockeries of what we are? Not even a psuedo-Makuta, a Toa Makuta Hybrid?" She demands sharply.

He clenches his hand
Jellica raises a brow. "He cannot even control his hands. Charix, darling, do you honestly trust this Toa? He is one of those Ta-Scum."
"..." He grabs the hilt of his greatsword ready. His eyes form his usual blue turning a bright gleaming red.
She snorts. "Darling, put that toothpick down, before you get hurt." She says, eyes gleaming with actual concern.
"Then learn to give respect. You never know, one day I might save you from death, another I may not. That is decided by your next words." He tightens his grip to the hilt.

Charix twists his head furiously and glares at Jellica in a sudden moment of anger. This sudden emotion fades as quickly as it comes and his gaze softens as he responds in a calm, yet testy tone.
"Sister Jellica...I do not believe I remember you responding to my call when I set about rebuilding this Brother-Hood. And yet here you are now. Magzus here is representative of the work I have done in rebuilding our organization's image. He, and I, are trying to protect this world from further destruction and reassert proper order. Your behavior is what led, in part, to the destruction of the old order. My advice to you, sister, is that if you want the Matoran, the Agori, and virtually everyone else on this forsaken rock to view our entire organization as a petty band of Piraka and war mongers, then continue right along in your loose words."

Xaia continues to listen in on the conversation, walking from the edge of the cliff to sit under a tree, where she can keep the makuta and old toa in earshot and somewhat in view.
"Last I checked, the Brother-Hood's goal was to control the world. This being the best thing for everyone concerned. For the past several decades, the Brother-Hood has consistently fallen short of that goal, being harassed, and denied our rightful place by Toa, Matoran, Order agents, and every other being who consider himself "for peace," "for stability," "for world security," "for the Matoran." What has happened to me? Well in the few moments I gained away from this rig-moral, I observed that we were losing, and were going to continue to lose as long as we continued allowing our own goals to be hijacked by all those who claimed moral superiority. I have been presented with a glorious thing. You know what that is? A reset button. I push the button, and remake the Brother-Hood's image. Inharax made the Brother-Hood into the enemy of the world. I enter and reintroduce it as the defender of the world and enemy to Inharax's regime, and, in so doing, I earn the respect, support, and good will of all those superior individuals who opposed us in the first place. And do you know what I've done? I've gained the favor of the most influential group of Matoran present, the military support of hundreds of Toa, a cease fire with Xia, and the right to openly parade the banner of the Brother-Hood through once hostile circles. I've taken an unstable organization filled with treacherous, squabbling and anarchist members that lay on its death bead and transformed it into an ordered, respectable, and powerful institution that is on the verge of achieving and enforcing the peace this world has lacked for centuries. And peace is what we want, isn't it? You want to be able to govern your territories without fearing attack night and day don't you? You surely want to know that the fortress's and the kingdoms you build will stand for centuries and not be embroiled in constant war?"
Charix grows tense, his tone projecting the importance of his words as his gaze darts to every member of the group except Karunax. "I've created a Brother-Hood that amounts to something. That succeeds. That will grant us...victory. And I will not see it undone. If you disagree with my methods, I will be forced to conclude that you really don't want victory, and are, therefore, a threat to the Brother-Hood."
Charix sends a mental message to Karunax. "You have in your hand, my brother, the keys to power and influence upon the whole world. The briefing on what I've done has been forced out of me sooner than I desired. To throw this work away would amount to throwing away the best chance we've ever had of achieving, and securing not only our rightful place upon this world, but also ensuring our, and our Brother-Hood's longevity. If we revert backwards and try to force ably seize this world we'll unite it against us and be hunted like rahi. I need your approval, brother. I need the solidarity and support of all our brothers. We must all work together if we are to truly be called a Brother-Hood."

Jellica starts out nodding to Charix's words, up until the bolded. A flicker of fear, which blossoms into anger and hatred now is on her face. Jellica patiently waits, however, she is not like her imprisoned sister, Toxica. She will wait for Charix to cease talking. "You.. You dare? I was banished from Destral. Thrown out for attempting to install order. My own sisters threw me out." She throws an accusatory glare at Zenila, who looks ready to kill, and Astrona, who is trying to pacify Zenila. "I never had trust in my brothers. You all outnumbered us 10 to 1, and the majority of you were insane lunatics. Call it unreasonable, or uncalled for, but there was fear. Not just from me, either! Zenila was absolutely terrified. Does anyone remember when she attempted to cover Destral in plants, to give it a more welcoming vibe, for the matoran?" Zenila's eyes widen.
"They were shredded, burnt and blasted to smithereens. By who? Not one of our sisters, except for Toxica, that is, but she's always been a freak, and it wasn't exactly intentional." Jellica mutters under her breath about toxic leeches, before shuddering. If anyone were to take a closer look, they would notice scars upon Jellica. Burn wounds were noticeable, too. Except.. Couldn't she fix her armor? Unless... Her mask, they should notice, has small gaps, for air to get in easier, on the cheeks.. Not the mouth? "You dare think I am a enemy to the Brotherhood, Charix?" She finally asks, cat eyes gleaming. "You would dare imply I am not loyal?" Her voice is soft, so soft, Charix could almost not hear her.
Zenila's thorns begin to sharpen, her breathing coming out in vicious pants. Her eyes darken until completely black.

Magzus pulls out his greatsword and walks next to Charix. "May I? Lord Charix."

Karunax turns his head and looks off into the distance, apparently lost in thought. He has always believed in seizing rightful dominance over the world through a display of insurmountable force and power. The Brotherhood was to conquer all, mercilessly trampling anything and everything that had the gall to fight back or speak out. Who cares if the Matoran hated them? Their Toa would all be executed brutally and publicly, along with any other "heroes" who believed they could take away the Makuta's supremacy. The Toa would be exterminated, the Matoran would suffer, and the Brotherhood would reign supreme. Let the challengers come... Karunax and his brothers would gladly oblige to fulfill their death wish. If the world fought back, the Brotherhood would raze it until it crumbled again, teaching a brutal lesson by stomping opposition into a bloody stain.
But what Charix is suggesting is something entirely different. He is proposing that the Brotherhood gain the trust of all those who wronged the Makuta... all those responsible for their fall, the deaths of Makuta, and the desecration of their home. He wants to show the world that the Makuta are benevolent enough to bring about an age of mutual harmony and peace, to protect their virtues and ideals like one big, happy family. If he could, Karunax would've thrown up in his mouth. The Brotherhood would be seen as a group of pushovers; a soft, weak association of pathetic do-gooders, all for the sake of peace. No. The Brotherhood is meant to forge its triumph in fire and fury, in iron and steel. What Charix is suggesting... it's sickening.
And yet, Karunax understands. In the past, the Brotherhood was broken again and again by enemies planted both within and without. Once, the power of the whole world was in their grasp, but the insufferable greed and selfishness of his brethren stripped it away. And in their current state, with so few of them remaining and forces unlike those ever seen now roaming the planet, triumph by war seemed hardly viable. Indeed, there would be a length of time where the Makuta would need to appease the vermin of Spherus Magna, but it will only be a deception. With Spherus Magna united, the greatest threats can be purged. But after that... the Brotherhood will take the world by storm. Perhaps even, Karunax muses, by that time the Brotherhood will have already performed a subtle conquest. This must be Charix's plan.
And why wouldn't I, brother? You have the Brotherhood's best interests in mind and action. That is all I require of you.
