"Do you ally yourselves with Inharax?" Swordsman asks.
Xaia sinks back into her crater.
"Inharax? Not in a million years."
"Good... Then I don't have to worry about being attacked for no reason other than me being a makuta. Anyways, tell me Toa, what are you doing here in a meeting of Makuta?"
I was fairly certain you had agreed to allow Jellica to be taken back to Foros in Stasis. Or at least that is how It seemed in Foros.
The thoughts of Amarea do not reflect my own.. For example; I do not hold cannibalistic tendencies. Amarea does. Another example; I do not hold Excidia's nihilistic, genocidal tendencies, nor her infatuation with destruction. Okay.. Yes I share her infatuation, just not to the same extent, I just like watching giant robots fight and causing things to explode
Strange. All my characters are exact foils of aspects of myself

"That's what everyone says, ignorant to the true workings of the world."

"Excuse me?"
"You can not simply bring 'peace to the world,' nothing is that simple. There will always be conflict, and you can not rid the world of it no matter what you do."
"Brother. Sister Astrona believes Jellica is acting under the influence of some form of extreme trauma. While this means little to either of us, I am bothered by how attached she is to Jellica. Astrona has repeatedly promised to me that if Jellica is allowed to escape execution that she will never act in this way again. While I think harsh punishment is completely necessary, I am aware execution may cause future strife. I only say this because Astrona has proved loyal and reliable in my dealings with her, and I am inclined to trust her word that she knows her sister. It is your decision. I am merely presenting further considerations...And what of this blatant intrusion into our affairs by this emissary of Foros? Should they be chastised for interfering in your execution of leadership or are their actions welcome?"
As Charix relates his concerns, Karunax eyes Astrona with disdain. He replies with a tone doused in fury.
Charix Only! And to whom, I wonder, is she more loyal to? The Brotherhood, or her degenerate of a sister? Jellica deserves death in every sense. Time and time again she has proven to look down on the Brotherhood's ideals, so easily neglecting our glorious and historical achievements and instead dwelling on the failures that should have been a minor stumble, all the while holding herself in much higher regard.
A wicked grin appears on his face. She blew her one chance... but perhaps her relationship with her sisters could be exploited to better serve the Brotherhood. Very well, Charix. She will live... but she'll wish she was dead. I want her detained in every sense of the word.
"It will be done. Provided she is found, I will insure she is properly put away."
Charix turns his attention to the Foros force and waits for Karunax to speak. He moves slowly behind Karunax, watching the Kopens with an intense, unreadable gaze.

"You can not simply bring 'peace to the world,' nothing is that simple. There will always be conflict, and you can not rid the world of it no matter what you do."
Xaia starts to slink off.
Charix mentally sizes up the situation through a quick mental reading of Magzus's mind and the minds of others who are in a position to see this swordsman. Gaining this knowledge without as much as glancing in the swordmans direction, Charix mentally speaks to both him and Magzus, his voice gliding smoothly and self confidently into both their minds. Magzus would here Charix's words but would also know that the words are addressed to the swords man.
OOC: Is the swords man a Makuta?
IC: "I am the Makuta Charix my agent speaks of. Why do you talk such? Surely you understand these words? Peace doesn't mean an end to all conflict. It merely refers to the assurance that the inhabitants of this world will never need to fear an oppressor overtaking them. You confuse my crusade for peace for a declaration of war against such trivial matters as domestic disputes and other such affairs of the matoran. Surely you are possessed of an intellect that would bar you from seeing such a foolish quest as having originated in a Makuta's mind."

Swordsman listens. You must also understand that such a peace would never be permanent. We Makuta are hated by most, and if placed in a seat of power, many would disagree, starting unrest and possibly revolting, whether or not we have done anything to deserve it. Place anybody else in that seat and we will become resentful, thinking that the throne is our rightful seat, and I doubt there would be many makuta who wouldn't express their desire for the seat.

OOC: I would tell you they're all dead, but this just had to drag on, didn't it?
IC: Karunax couldn't care less if they get in the way.
He lands next to Charix and gestures to the sporadic Jellica.
"Look at her. Nothing more than a pathetic vermin trying to play the high role of a Makuta. I might suggest leaving her in this humiliating state would be a punishment worse than death, but that'd be too cliche. I want her dead, lest she threaten the Brotherhood with her idiocy at any point in the future."
OOC: *eyeroll*
*another eye nerve pops*
Dangit, can I get some help, Nick?
IC: Jellica's eyes narrow, all of them, and they proceed to teleport out of the region.
Antermina sweeps the planet with her cosmic sense. With a mighty boom, Jellica finds herself back on the battlefield. Kindly enough, she is placed on the other end of the area from Karunax.

"You observe the problems that confront every ruler of every age. I am aware of such, and am also aware that as rulers, we would need to be proactive in our leadership, avoiding the temptation towards complacency. I am confident that through our laudable actions, we will gain key supporters among the population who will become our public face, and who can engage in such discussions on our behalf."
Charix uses mind reading to enter the swordsman's mind covertly to uncover who the Makuta is, what his intentions are, and what he is driven by. Charix's mental skill enables him to work his way easily around any average Makuta mental block he may encounter. If the Swordsman has a more skilled mind, Charix recognizes this, and slows down his approach, attempting to slowly, and softly work around defenses carefully.

Time will tell.
The mind read uncovers he is a Makuta, and that his original intention upon coming here was to stop the horrible screeching that had disturbed his walk.

Yes, actually. they have teleport blockers. The technology was given to them by Dormus in the form of Muaka tanks which they reverse engineered and put in all their vehicles. You can't ignore something just because you don't like it. That's petty.
