Karunax looks questioningly at Charix while replying to Valix.
"The battle is lost, then?"
Sending a few mental messages, Charix's eyes betray his growing frustration, but his tone is as formal and collected as ever.
"An unforeseeable event, namely, the self-destruction of a Zurakian elite which produced an explosion of limitless energy, wrecked part of my fleet...I am aware that my forces have launched an immediate counter strike and are having more success."
Charix sends a mental message to Valix in a clearly irritated tone. "You were responsible for a squad of war ships. Why was the entirety of my force lost except for you?"

Karunax snorts irritably.
"They'd better be. The enemy should not be able to suicide and still emerge victorious."
"And what would a stranger want with such a valuable Kanohi?"
Jellica listens in, to every word. "Toxica's Olmak, it is too valuable to trade, ignoring the fact that it is lost."
"And you're still guilty of treason. Although you won't be dead... yet... I guarantee you'll wish you were."
Karunax turns on Astrona.
"As I said, your sister will be allowed to live, but she will be imprisoned for the time being. Even so, like it or not she will still serve the Brotherhood with all of her being. And so will you, Astrona."

"I value my life and some of others. I think you and I would know. I didn't want to die there. I was out of the ship preparing to attack after all."

"I would never dream of anything else, brother." Astrona half-bows.
Jellica raises her brow. "Isn't that counter productive?"
A hulking form, about the height of the tallest among them, appears in their midst.
"I see you are still foolishly warring against me, Charix."
Instinctively, Charix teleports parts of his shadowy antidermis to various locations throughout the region while also moving a size-able amount to the shadow zone. Externally, his shadowy form changes only slightly, becoming less dark and dense.
Charix hardly seems to respond to Zurakia's arrival. A master at concealing his thoughts, an, in fact, surprised, and momentarily confused Charix, simply turns his head to gaze at Zurakia in a controlled, and slightly rigid manner. Charix wastes no time in responding before he has quite made sense of the situation. Automatically speaking in a clearly irritated, offended, and, above all, self-confident tone.
"The Brother-Hood will not suffer your opposition."

Charix fails to respond, his mind racing in pursuit of a way to deal with Zurakia.

"Ants do not need to worry themselves with the opposition of a boot," he replied dryly.

Zenila frowns, whisps of her essence traveling underground. She opens her mouth, to ask who this is, but promptly closes before she can ask.

"And who is the boot in this case?" Swordsman asks.
"And who is the boot in this case?" Swordsman asks.
He smiled, turning towards this new figure, "That should be obvious, insect."
"I see. Don't underestimate the ants however; you can crush an ant hill and kill a few, but many more will surface and avenge their comrades. There are even some ants that tear flesh off the bone with their bite."

"With a Manas you can do the same thing. Where did you loose it?"
Jellica opens her mouth. "You will not be taking Makuta Toxica's Kanohi, not unless Lord Karunax decrees otherwise. Besides, isn't the point, if it's lost, you don't know where it is?"

"Well said." He smirks.
Zurakia smirks, "That is why one must crush them all at once."
