The Treacherous Cliffs

@ Zurakia and Makuta.

Charix's eyes spark momentarily as Zurakia makes clear his intentions. A flurry of shadows erupt all about Charix as his two black swords assimilate in his hands, the multitude of shadows swirling about his form like an asteriod belt about a planet.

Charix sends a mental message to the gathered Makuta. Jammers!
"Mental strike. Molecular disruption blasts. Now!"

Portals to the shadow zone open without warning directly behind Zurakia. If this is prevented, the portals are instead opened up several yards under ground directly underneath him. The other ends of these portals open up directly next to Valix and Zenila who were safe inside the Shadow zone. The portals allow them to gain access momentarily to the area. Any radiation that may affect them is drained by Hunger, the energy being stored elsewhere.

At the same time as opening the portals, Charix consolidates his concentration and applies himself to the creation and launch of a lethal mental attack. Having years of experience with mental based skills, Charix applies the full might of his mental faculties to attacking Zurakia's mind with am enormous, blunt attack, aimed at either bashing his mind into submission through repeated attacks, or, if facing weaker  opposition, simply running over it.

An enormous amount of molecular disruption is teleported all about Zurakia, appearing all about him in a spherical formation before smashing in upon him.

Zurakia puts his mental defenses up. Though nowhere near a perfect defense, it would keep them out long enough to do what he had to do.

The blankets of ZE over av-ta-su Wahi and overhead was not just to cool everything down. No, it was funnelling all the heat coming from the sun into Zurakia himself. And, all at once, as well as a good chunk of his own power, he unleashes it in a massive explosion all around him. A massive chunk makes it through the portal as well, sending a flood of energy cascading down on the beings on the other side. Almost anyone unfortunate enough to be caught within would be obliterated. This also has the side-effect of intercepting all the MD coming from around him.

Charix's form, being composed entirely of shadows at this point, is easily swept away. His concentration is broken at this moment, allowing him to respond to the attack. Seeing as Charix had deposited the majority of his shadow dermis elsewhere in the region, the damage done by the destruction of this form is minuscule, allowing him to reflexively act to secure his fellows.

While unable to act quick enough to prevent a substantial amount of the explosion from wiping through the portals, Charix does manage to close the portals quickly, preventing more energy from coursing through. Valix and Zenila are both teleported away from the explosion, only to be teleported back to their initial positions after the explosion has passed. While Charix may be unable to act fast enough in this to completely defend them from the blast, he should be able to whisk them both away before they are exposed long enough to be disintegrated. 

As for the Sword's man, Karunax, Jellica and Astrona, Charix attempts to teleport them out of the way as well. However, due to their proximity to the blast, the success of this move will depend on how well the four are able, of their own devices to stay in one piece through the initial sudden exposure to the blast. 

Following the blast, shadows swirl at kakama speed several yards behind Zurakia and Charix, recollecting his mental faculties, mentally attacks Zurakia again, while at the same time, channeling six small beams of laser vision through these shadows and at Zurakia's forms, seeking to carve and disperse the GB's form.

Stalker looks at this fight and sighs blasting Zukaria with every Bionicle power.

Nonchalantly, Zurakia turns and unleashes a second blast directed at the shadows, sweeping them away once again. He uses these temporary lapses in Charix's concentration to build up more mental defenses against the other players.

Zurakia dissipates into a writhing mass of cubes to avoid this and other, already mentioned bombardments of attacks.

Jellica's with Karunax so...

Zenila transfers her antidermis across a network of vines underground, spreading it around in pores in enough time to give her a back up. Her thick armor falls off, destroyed, but she is still succesfully teleported away.

Astrona just teleports out. She ain't got time for Zurakia's nonsense.

She teleports back when it's safer.

Zurakia takes notice of the small annoyance, and responds by momentarily reforming into his hulking mass directly before the Makuta, unleashing a wide, powerful torrent of energy at nearly point-blank before leaping up and dissipating once again.
