Artidax booms to a volcanic plain devoid of any life save the protodites. He teleports the cube he retrieved from New Xia to his left hand and begins reciting lines in an ancient language. The cube levitates six feet from the ground and begins to open. Beams of light shoot out and the ground begins to shake and crumble. As magma shoots out a pyramid formed from red protodermis rises from the ground and rests. It stands 500 ft tall. Artidax closes the box and booms to another location.

They are able to protect themselves by their various powers, but due to the heat of the region, Tredixs lands at the base of the pyramid. "Firewall" tries to see if he can either melt or absorb the pyramid.

He cannot melt it. When "Firewall" tries to absorb it, he receives a violent feedback which fills his mind with three words: Dominus regem est.

"Firewall" doesn't make a noise from the feedback, but does fall onto one knee, breathing slightly heavier.
"It's too well guarded."
"Almost makes me wonder why bother creating us if they could do this. Well, I'm out of ideas."

"Toa, giving up? Shame."
Tredixs looks around for the voice, using his magnetic powers as well to see if he can find anyone else in the area.
"I would have left already if I was giving up, but there isn't a whole lot I can do here. I can't destroy it, I can't manipulate it, I can't move it, and I certainly can't take the energy output of this thing. None of my knowledge of machines capturing and converting energy was made for this scale or this kind of power. Not that I can bring the materials to build such a thing in time. At best, I can try to deflect the blast, but that might have unknown consequences for where ever it ends up."

The being is not hard to find. He's standing about ten-feet behind Tredixs, leaning on a staff. "There are some forces out there which require power beyond imagining to fight. The Toa were never meant for that role. However they were meant to unite and defeat threats."

"What are you suggesting I do?"
"Artidax cannot safely channel the power of our pyramids without the Manas stone, an item which has recently been called out from its burial place. Retrieve the stone before he does and do so quickly. It is inauspicious that Atero Nui was built upon the former site of the fortress of one of our great enemies, otherwise there may be fewer casualties. Gather the strongest Toa and Glatorian you can. Defeat Artidax before he destroys this world we worked so hard to rebuild."

"He's probably there already, me and 'Firewall' will have to do...Though, perhaps there are a couple friends left in the city."
Artidax booms back above the Red Pyramid accompanied by Umbrax and Antermina. He levitates to the surface.
Tredixs comes flying in at high speeds, slowing down before he gets anywhere near to crashing into anything.
Artidax sends a mental blast his way before displaying the Manas stone to the pyramid. He lets the stone touch its surface. Immediately a swirling mass of energy crackles up from the ground and shoots skyward.

This distracts Tredixs for a bit, but then tries using magnetism and electromagnetism to throw Artidax into the skyward flying energy.

Artidax, himself distracted by the display, is unable to counter in time. However, he is hurled into the energies right at the moment the beams from the other pyramids meet in mid-air. No words exist that can encapsulate the cry given by the Makuta who believed himself to be a god.

Tredixs looks down at the Manas Stone and the other two Makuta.

"Who wants to go next?"
Thunder booms over the crackling of the energy in the skies above. Artidax falls back to earth, creating a massive crater next to the Pyramid. He rises and Tredixs can barely recognize him. "You... What... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!" He lashes out with a storm of energy similar tot he energies above. Artidax appears to be having trouble containing his antidermis. His armor is melting in some areas and his mask is disintegrating. It really is rather horrific.

Tredixs isn't phased by Artidax's new appearance, he has seen worse before. He does what flight maneuvers he can to avoid the onslaught of energy coming at him.
"Whatever I did, I clearly didn't do it good enough."
Tredixs tries to magnetically rip Artidax apart from any piece of armor that he can.
