Magnok dropped to a kneel with honorable conviction, yet inwardly he wasn't too certain if the Silver Entity cared for such formalities.

"I understand that you can provide shortcuts to destined forms?"

Magnok procured a diamond similar in color to a zamor crystal. "This contains a budding wormhole. In 10,000 years it will grow into a full gateway leading to a semi-sealed pocket dimension. I can't wait that long." He wondered if the Energized Protodermis could read minds, and if it might be able to bypass his deflector helmet. In such a case, the toa thought about the formulae and equations for the arcing deviation in the universal membrane, along with the physics of a pocket dimension worm hole.

He realized that this entity was no gentle giant, but instead a scheming tyrant (oh great, I hate rhyming my writings). Still, there had to be some way to negotiate peacefully. "I can throw in a kind word to someone who might take interest in your efforts. Of all the beings in existence, he is definitely the most valuable."

"I see you haven't met him. Transforming this gem will cost you nothing, surely the possibility of finding and enslaving your equal would be worth it?"

"So why haven't you?" Magnok's voice was as calm as the EP had been before, although inside he was calculating the hundreds of possibilities that might rear their ugly heads.
