Darkthought Hill is a dreadful place, one many Matoran fear to visit. Why? Well, it's a snow covered hill dotted with many snowmen. What's scary to the Matoran is that the snowmen look a lot like the losers of a game in Huai Snowball Sling. To make matters worse, each one seems to be suffering. One snowman is covered in complete darkness, with a lightstone failing to pierce the darkness. Another shivers holding a heat stone. Another looks like its mind is being stolen my Memory Crystals. The entire hill just gives people eerie chills and morbid thoughts. Perhaps the ever increasing snowmen are giving it off?
"Eerie morbid place?" remarks Tholot, "Sounds like the kind of place Krunad would visit."
Vuulta casts him a glare, but says nothing. The continue on up the hill, casting sideways glances at each snowman they passed. None of them wanted to be the first to admit that they were not sure these things were quite what they seemed to be.
"Krunad!" Shouts Vuulta, "Are you here!?"
No response.
It was a long shot anyway. They lost his trail days ago. They had little chance of finding him again.
"Split up." Says Vuulta. "We'll find him more quickly that way. If he is here, that is..."
Vuulta searches the north side, while Tholot sweeps the southeast. Fegron checks out each Snowman on the west side.
The Toa of Lightning looks intently at one snowman who seems to be returning her gaze. Vuulta moves closer in interest. Upon inspection...yes, it appears to be only an ordinary snowman.
But then, a feeling of cold metal pressed against her neck. She barely sees the sharp point of a blade in her periphery, but dare not move an inch.
"With the flick of one button," whispers a voice far too familiar, "My blade splits, and your head would go rolling down this hill like snowball. It would accumulate so much snow, I don't think anyone would find it for a very long time. Someone might even build a snowman on top of it."
Vuulta's eyes turn from wide, to angry as her Calix covered face forms the words, "I hate you, so much."
The blade is removed, only to be replaced with the smiling face of Krunad moving in from behind. He holds her left arm in his hand.
"My dear," the Toa of Gravity replies, "If that were true, I can't imagine you coming here."
"Mata Nui, Krunad," exclaims Vuulta, "We thought you abandoned us."
She tries to turn to face him, but The Toa of Gravity strengthens his hold on her arms. He peers down into her eyes, smile vanishing from his face.
"I did."
Vuulta looks up at her counterpart, "What do you mean? You're here now, aren't you." Vuulta suddenly wonders if this eerie place was playing tricks on her. But the thought vanishes; Krunad's tightening grip was all too real.
"Not by choice." spits Krunad, "I'm here because I was asked to be."
Vuulta looks away and bites her lib before responding, "Here I thought you actually cared about us. About me."
Krunad sneers, "Care? Why would I care? What reason, should I have to care!" the Toa's voice grows louder, and his grip tighter. Vuulta's armour begins to bend under the pressure.
"Krunad--"
"No! Do not try to console me!" speaks Krunad. His voice never raising in volume, yet to Vuulta it seems as if he was screaming at her. "What's more, what reason do you have to care!?"
"Because...because you're my brother, Krunad!" The Toa of Lightning cries out, on the verge of breaking down, "And what's more, is that you are my friend! Or used to be! You know, I'm not sure anymore, I'm not sure who you are..."
Vuulta's arms begin to flare with pain as the Toa of Gravity retorts, "I am, and have always been, Krunad! I am the same miserable Krunad that you tore free from that Makuta's experiments! I am this way, because you saved me! Everything I am today is because of what you did! YOU MADE ME!"
Tears began to form in the Toa of Lightning's eyes. They rolled from the eyeholes in her mask, along its contours, to rest on its bottom edge. The Night was too cold for them to go any further before freezing.
Whether from the physical pain, or the emotional, the Toa of Lightning began to sob.
That was too far for Krunad. Something, some shred of light left in his darkness told him that this delicate creature did not deserve this. He released her, and Vuulta fell to her knees in the snow. Krunad was emotionless looking down at her. Behind his Shelek, however, guilt filled him. He hated himself. Oh, so much hate. But she wasn't to blame, she never had been.
That fell on Kolokvar.

Tholot scans the Hill, the morbid surroundings looking increasingly like a cemetery.
Something moves out of the corner of his eye. He whirls. Nothing.
The Toa of Ice continues on. Thoughts race through his mind. Is it just the dark playing tricks on him? Probably. Maybe.
But then something moves on his left between two snowmen. With a shout, Tholot turns and fired a blast of ice in their direction. Almost immediately, something hits him hard from behind. He goes down.
Rolling on the ground, he uses his Kualsi to teleport several yards away. But still on the ground, he notices his attacker stooping over him. A sharp blade aimed at him.
"Aukum..."
The Toa of Magnetism offers his hand. "I thought you were...something else."
"I as well," Replies Tholot, "This place is playing tricks on us. We need to find Vuulta, and get out of here."
Aukum looks behind the Toa of Ice. "I think we may be too late."
Tholot turns to see what he's referring to. A figure comes from the darkness carrying someone its arms.
"Who's there?" asks Tholot.
The figure come into view. Both toa recognize him as their former leader, Krunad. And in his arms, an unconscious Vuulta.
"What did you DO!?"

A wild Antermina appeared! "Well, what do you want?"
He bows to the ground and then answers. "I humble request the honor to run your company, Powers-R-Us. Although I am sure that if you had the time if would be greatly profitable, but you have far more important things than running a business. Allow me to borrow its reins and it shall become successful."

"Alright. Go ahead."
"Thank you lord Makuta." He gets back up and heads off on his way.
The battle between Excidia and Chronoka emerges here.
"You would shatter the cosmos in your needless path for vengeance!" Chronoka raises his clock, slamming it down on the ground.
"Let the world burn, then!" Excidia snarls, her scythe cutting through the air and shattering the clock.
"I believe, that is my line, sister." The snow begins to melt, then it is vaporized by the new being's presence. "You have garnered the attention of many, in your exploits. Obitus is still in hiding, Inanis is in a coma. Tiamat wakes, my dear sister. Anae is furious at what you have done to the Loom. Gaea herself will arrive shortly to impose judgement upon this world." The being has scarlet armor, with a draconian appearance.
"Coma? Do I look like I am in a coma, to you?" A soft voice purrs, as a woman, dressed in black, purple and white emerges. The cosmic designs, reminiscent of the starry night sky, suddenly explode, consumed by a malestrom of purple and black, with a white dot in the center. Bony arms, hundreds of them, claw out of her back, her eyes like typhoons, a maelstrom of destruction within the pupil, a torrent of pain and agony in the iris.
"Inanis.. You wake?! The Loom did not foresee this, this was not planned! I did not ordain this to be!" Chronoka responds, dread creeping into his tone. The only things that could defy the Loom.. The only things powerful enough to defy the Will of Anae... The only things that could escape the very Sight of Chronoka...
The sky begins to thunder and rumble. The ground continues to fragment and shatter.
Portals open in the sky and pods fall to the ground emitting waves of power.
Slowly, the dead beings of this topic rise cracking through layers of ice and rock as they are given new life. Their orders are simple gather more to be as enlightened as them.

Hahtanna's run comes to a stop here and he collapses on his back in the fresh snow that has slowly restored the hill. Sure, he was a bit tired, but this was a collapse of defeat more than anything.
