All of these Dark Hunters were wiped of their higher brain functions, confused as to where/when they were, filled with loyalty to the Ga-matoran order, and commanded to stop their attack the moment they appeared. ("Chroma Key" may have escaped this if her teleport was fast enough)
"Ersatz" proves to be immune thanks to his current power set, "Chroma Key" proved to be too fast, "Recharge's" advance senses allows him to avoid such energy blasts to affect his mind with easy and moves for cover, and "Wishing Well" blasts any energy coming at him with Weakening Rhotuka and shrinks of affects these powers would have to insignificance.
"Ersatz" found that these vahki were too fast to manipulate, but on occasion he may possess the focus to catch one or two. However, it didn't last long when a Maxilios slammed the Dark Hunter from behind with his Cordak-Nui blaster. GAGAGAGAGAGABOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!. "Chroma Key" and "Recharge" would be supprised to find that these vahki operated at kakama speeds and fired via Sanok targeting computers, meaning their evasive maneuvers and senses were too slow to avoid the bolts. "Wishing Well" suddenly got bombarded by multiple matoran firing Freeze Kanoka Rays.
The "Wanderer" uses weather control to call down lightening from the sky at the Dark Hunters.
All the lightning that the Wanderer calls down instead goes to and strikes "Toll."
In response the Wanderer decides to create above each dark hunter head their own personal, down pouring rain cloud that drops the odd lightening bolt on their heads.
"ARGH!" Ga-matoran shield flails helplessly in Toll's grip. The others jump back or dive into their cover as Toll stings at them, hopefully reducing the stinger stabs to glancing blows on their kanohi or misses.
Thanks to the sudden lightning storm from the Wanderer, all the lightning channels into "Toll" and deep fries his Ga-Matoran shield. Upon missing, the stingers stretch around and chase after the Matoran.
They grab onto the stingers by a non-sharp part and start attacking them with knives.

"Ersatz" appeared behind the army, so he isn't caught off guard as there are no Maxilos robots behind him. Instead, he slams his shield into the ground and its starts throwing mounds of dirt into the Cordaks, causing them to explode prematurely and likely harm the ANG forces.
"Recharge," given his Skidawkie perks, senses are far greater than what the enemy is throwing at him and can quite easily void the enemy fire as well as destroy it. Using either his own Rhotuka spinners, which also act like Sanok, or whatever he can get his hands on.
Given how quickly "Chroma Key" appeared and how soon the Vahki are trapped in her pocket dimension, their Kakama speeds mean very little as countless amount of plantlife crushes the Vahki and protects "Chroma Key."
"Wishing Well" rapid fires Teleport Rhotuka and the Matoran are hit by their own freeze rays.

Two Dark Hunters are unaccounted for, "Recharge" is moving too quickly, "Wishing Well" just destroys the cloud with one of his various Rhotuka, and "Ersatz" destroys his with a laser blast. Though all the storms were naturally moving towards "Toll," which appears to have to no affect on him.

They get electrocuted by the remaining lightning still running through "Toll."

The army was never facing one single direction, but nonetheless, the Cordak easily exploded through the dirt and struck "Ersatz' like it was nothing.
"Recharge" discovered a new phenomenon; Being outnumbered by enemies who have a rate of fire approximately that of the Cordak-Nui blaster, meaning it would be literally impossible to dodge or block so many kanoka.
The trapped vahki avoided the plants long enough for a War Maxilios to take notice and crush the box.
Instead, the freeze kanoka rays managed to reflect the rhotuka in various directions includiong back at the Dark Hunter via the ice crystals they created in the air. "Wishing Well" found himself teleported right on top of a Guard shield (which redirect teleportation), that was currently firing aforementioned kanoka rays.

The Wanderer uses Telekinesis to slam Recharge into the ground, he then calls down a snowstorm obscuring him and everyone else from the Dark Hunter's view.
The Dark Hunters get mental attacks seemingly random to keep them off their balance.

Species: Makuta Kanohi: Johun/Mask of Rebounding Weapons and Equipment: Power Lance, Rotating Blades, Shadow Staff, Kanoka Launcher, Rhotuka Spinner -- right hand covered by a 380mm cannon
The Answer calls out, "Wanderer, shall we strike up an alliance to drive out the Makuta?"
"You mean the two trucks?"
He picks out a disc dents and within the second teleports it under the trucks.
The War Maxilios backed down from the answer, updating Rua-Metru with the situation. In a few minutes, it spoke. "If you refrain from attacking this village, we will assist."

The dirt chunks being tossed at the Cordaks are large and heavy. If they don't explode they would certainly crash or be thrown off course.
There is such a thing as limited ammo and huts to use as temporary shields. Lots of property destruction.
How would the robots find the box? It doesn't sound like they're moving much.
"Wishing Well" just rapidly fires other Rhotuka into the teleportation ones with random powers, including the freeze ray ones.

Cordak yield would beat heavy rocks anyday. BOOM!
You never stated that "Recharge" had taken cover, just that he had been dodging. In this case, six vahki sped over to his location to surround him. (no firing)
Arthron/Akaku vision. The War Maxilios were not confined to a single group, but were split up to compliment the entirety of the Vahki squads.
Okay, so "Wishing Well" did not teleport. Any further rhotuka fired at the freeze rays deflected at odd angles, but managed to stop the rays mid air.
