Besides the Vahki scanned for life forms he would be expecting an attack from behind and stuff.
●You never stated that. ●Scanning for life forms doesn't account for a thrown dagger. Even if someone knows they are surrounded, that doesn't give them total awareness of every single attack. ●You let the dagger hit the vahki at the top of this page. It wasn't until you specifically knew it was a disintegration dagger that you decided to edit your post. This is a move that is only tolerated when a player makes a mistake on what they or their RPC is perceiving, not as an uh-oh-change-it-to-quick-save. If the dagger was able to strike the vahki before you knew it was a disintegration blade, it should also have struck when you did know it.

Look back, I did.
Good Point.
I have trouble dealing with nigh undodgeable moves. I don't know what you mean by edited, but ok you have now immoblized a Vahki with a move that it couldn't have dodged.

●Was it before the Zyglak came over? ●- ●Regeneration disks are handy, especially since it was only the head that was destroyed.

IC: The disease continued to effect Vakt.
It effects him a bit, but he's still strong enough to take down a Zyglak that's lost an eye.
