Just post in whatever location your character is in. So if you had a villager that started in the Village of Fire, you would post their stuff in the Village of Fire topic. But if you left the Village of Fire for the Region of Fire, you would start posting in the Region of Fire topic instead. Topics are conveniently divided into subforums for each region.
OK. What about if I was at the Region of Fire, and I wanted to get to the Region of Water?
Hopefully I won't procrastinate joining indefinitely, but unless I get an idea for a character I probably won't join for a bit.
You would have to post that you're travelling through each Region between the two. (Jungle, if my geography is still correct.)
You could adapt a current character to this world. Lync, for example, started as an Okotan villager, got adapted into a Glatorian of Air for Next Chapter, and is now a Hunter in this RP.
You're not a coward 'cause you cower; you're brave because they broke you yet broken still you breathe
I have a question regarding Unity Creatures; how do they work? I read that you could force Unity, how and what effect would fusing with one do?
Back on the LMBs I wrote up a proposal for unity mechanics for toa, here is the finished version:
The player will have to notify the community that they are looking to gain unity powers for their toa.
A member of the community will volunteer to play as the creature.
To gain unity powers, the player's toa RPC must search for the creature and tame it. This will occur in whatever elemental region the toa and creature belong to. This is where the volunteer comes into play. They will act as the creature, and it will be left to their discretion whether to make it easy or hard for the toa to tame the creature.
After being tamed, the creature remains under the volunteer's control and will fight on the side of the toa, to add a real element of unity to roleplay. Toa can fuse with their creature to gain added abilities.
I never outlined forced unity for hunters but I would assume that the creature would still be controlled by a volunteer, but the creature would resist until it breaks down and serves the hunter. Also, a creature could be recovered from a hunter's control to be used by a toa.
The effects of fusing in G2 canon are apparently rather vague, so we can simply say slightly increased stamina, strength, and elemental abilities. But, of course, you would also have a creature fighting by your side when you are not fused to it.
I would think when a creature is fused to a toa or hunter it is an RPC of the user with the toa or hunter, but when not fused, it would revert back to be an RPC of the volunteer. I'd actually like to discuss this part between the community as I never gave thought to fusing in general, just to taming the creature. These are only my suggestions and are subject to change with discussion.

Oohh. Now I'm getting some ideas. Thank you. That was very helpful.

I agree that the person playing the Toa should get control during fusion; makes things simpler.

I see. I would personally like to seek a unity creature for one, subject to any rules provided. I think I'll post an RPC prof later today, btw, what are the rules regarding fighting and dying in G2?

There is currently no D20 combat system in G2 like there is in The Next Chapter, but having seen the system working firsthand, I wouldn't be opposed to adding it, though I have to think more on the subject. Currently we have traditional combat and permanent death, and usually the person controlling the RPC in question has at least some say in whether their character is killed.
Regarding your other question about hunters, I am not sure what you mean by "two shadow powers." Hunters have control over the element of shadow and limited control of one of the main six elements.

So, presuming the shadow powers I listed are acceptable, what does the limited elemental control entail, exactly? And which element?
So, do you think you'd like to add the D20 system? It's flawed I know, but I think it is good, though not needed overall if you have a similar honor system that works.

Species: Human. I'm pretty certain of that. Kanohi: Kanohi Bluglass, Mask of Anti-Glare Prescription Glasses Weapons and Equipment: Equipment: Flat caps. A wallet. A driving permit.
Weapons: I have an awesome katana on my wall.

Flawed, boy, I can't fix it if you don't specify what's wrong with it.
Come! Come and listen, my friends. Listen as I regale you with the next chapter in the legend of the Bionicle.

I apologize. I don't recall which powers you listed. Could you repeat them?
I see limited elemental control as nothing terribly over powered. I don't have an exact limit so I just expect players to use good judgement. In fact, I don't think a limit could be set unless we created some sort of elemental energy number mechanic, but that would be over complicated and I don't think the toa of G2 had elemental energy. The secondary element is up to your choice. (For example, Jayzor's hunter Lync has shadow and Jungle, I believe.)

Shadow Tendril Generation, maybe teleportation but idk. Yeah, the G2 Toa were more like armored Benders from Avatar, since they lacked the propensity to create their element.
Since I'm not getting thru on the limited elemental control definition, here's just a specific example; could I give an RPC Hunter the ability to levitate rocks like Pohatu? Or do something like breathe underwater, or have a resistance to heat, something like that?

I never realized that Hunters had a secondary element, but yes, Lync is Jungle, as always.

If you didn't know then I think I must have made all this up on the spot or something. I guess what I originally thought was that hunters had control over shadow, but were related to a secondary element. Not necessarily that they had power over it, but something like Kirathel suggested (breathing underwater, fire resistance) would make sense. Sorry for the confusion, Kirathel .

So, Lync would have increased agility or an unexplainable desire to climb things due to her connection with Jungle specifically?

Sounds right to me.
I updated the rules thread to reflect current discussions.
