Kogaru immediately recoils. "Sorry, sorry, you don't need to answer our questions, I'm sorry to intrude, please don't hurt us." Ticeli sighs, still leaning against the wall in the back of the cell.
"Not everyone was there, you know. Fighting the skull spiders, or whatever battle happened in the City of the Mask Makers. But that doesn't mean that others don't deserve to know what happened. That's all we want, so that we can record it for... for whoever wants it, I guess. Maybe this stupid island will stick around long enough for it to pass into legend."
Aerscet pauses. "My guard overheard you telling the hunter about the elemental creatures. How did you learn about them? How many others would know?"
"We.. we..." Kogaru stutters.
"We're Chroniclers," Ticeli interrupts. "We've done some research. We don't know a lot, and I don't think anyone else in recent history has read the text we found that mentioned them."

"It is unwise to spread this knowledge, especially to someone like Tormaigh. Hunters are selfish beings by nature, and any hunter would jump at the chance to use a creature for their own gains."

"H-he brought them up f-first," Kogaru manages to stammer. "I-I'm not sure w-we t-t-told him anything h-he didn't know."

Aerscet unlocks the cell. "Come up to the main deck," he says. "You can join the others."

Kogaru bows so low his mask almost touches his feet. "Thank you, thank you, than-"
"I think the Captain gets the point," Ticeli says with a sigh. "Really though, thank you." The two villagers exit the cell and head onto the deck.
Tormaigh smiles as the pair walk up.
"Hey guys. Let me introduce you to Lync, this Toa I don't know, this little demon creature, and that random, one eyed Raider." Kartos and Laito just shake their heads and introduce themselves.

Taking a deep breath, Kogaru puts on a cheery smile and waves. Ticeli simply nods.
"Hello, everybody. I'm Kogaru, and this is Ticeli. We're Chroniclers from the Region of Ice." Lync waves back.
"Hullo. Sorry you had to be stuck in the brig with that guy. This little cutie is Blue, she only bites if you deserve it." Blue growls and slinks over to Kogaru. The Ice Villager hesitantly reaches out to pet the Nami. Blue growls again and nudges him affectionately.

"I guess I pass the test?" Lync chuckles.
"Yep. Good thing Tormaigh didn't rub off on you."
Tormaigh chuckle before he realizes what Lync said.
"Hey!" Laito just chuckled as Kartos watches, beginning to remember what happened at the battle with Makuta, and the Villagers that were lost. He then noticed the boats being readied.

"It would appear we are about the go ashore."
"Are those two coming?" Lync asks, gesturing to the Villagers. Kogaru shakes his head.
"Nope, we're going to sit tight here. See you all when you return." Lync stands, stretching. Blue bounds back to her side, growling happily.

Aerscet passes by. "If you wanted to get on my ship," he says to the villagers, "then you'll be coming with us."
"We should leave them here. We don't know what we are getting into." Laito sat to the side, not giving a response or hint as to what he thought.
"On the contrary, I have a very good idea of what we are getting into. They can come with us, for what better way is there to chronicle events than to witness them firsthand?"

Kartos was about to give a remark, but soon figured that he wouldn't be able to change the Raider's mind. Though he still wasn't happy about the idea.

"Very well. Then let us set off."
Lync whistles a jaunty tune as she boards the landing craft, glaring at Tormaigh.

Tormaigh just looked at Lync as he boarded, followed by Laito.
"Ok, Lync. Why do all of you hate me anyway? I mean, I can't remember a time y'all ever liked me. Even a little." Kartos boarded as the Hunter spoke.
Lync scoffs. "You get everything wrong. I bet you even tried to tell these people that I'm popular or something. You don't even remember me being friendly to you? Don't answer that, of course you don't. You're just a weirdo, and not in a good way."

"I only called you one of the best. And I only said I couldn't remember. If you can name one time you were actually nice to me I'll concede to that point. And just tolerating my presence doesn't count."
