The Dread Wing "Surveyor," having newly gathered its forces, detects these new arrivals. The arrivals are promptly hailed via mental message.
"Attention, you are entering territory governed by the Bone Hunters and protected by their allies. Proceed with good intentions and you will be greeted cordially."
There seems to be a sense of affirmation, but no response.
OOC: You posted your tech gathering move after I had already posted that my Wraiths pulled the tech away...Your forces didn't react to that move, therefore, I fail to see how their move was effective. If you want to respond to that move in particular, I will have to direct my Wraiths to counter it in some way. In any event, any physical grabbing of the tech would have been ill equipped to hold on to the tech which was being magnetically ripped off the ground.
IC: With the Kopen's and Tanks destroyed, all Chagrin forces teleport up and out of the cavern, leaving the walls of disruption to expire naturally. A good deal of the more prominent Bone Hunter tents and equipment is also teleported out. Assuming this doesn't work, flurries of flak turrets on the Dread Wing and Crescent Carrier rip into the ground and airborne dirt all about the area, applying slow and stasis fields across large swaths off the ground and earth threatening to bury the force. Having thus slowed the attacks, OTAT's quickly hurry around, and Torzek and his ground forces load up as the OTAT's quickly head off to land aboard the Dread Wing.
The Wraiths simply move around the Hau shields. Surely the FSS troops have not covered the entire ground for miles around in Hau shields. If this doesn't work, they simply teleport through as was demonstrated by the FSS troops own teleportation through the Chagrin Hau shield.
The Wraiths, being far faster than the element lords, keep right up with them, and, instead of stasis, switch immediately to slow fields while also firing blasts of corruption at the element lords and other FSS troops. All six of the Wraiths are deployed for this purpose.
OOC: hm.. I must've missed that move. Regardless, The Number of EL's exceeds the number of wraiths, and their weaponry would provide them with the ability to fight them off.
The teleportation would be nigh impossible to perform due to the maelstrom, and the Teleport blockers in the Muaka tanks still function, despite the tank being trashed. The flak guns make small holes, but they are quickly covered by the increasing amount of material being piled on top. The entire cavity descends hundreds of meters beneath the surface every second, as the earth on the floor is being taken away, and more is piled on the top. The stasis fields do not affect the ground and earth, and the forces are crushed.
The element lords, being nothing but a consciousness in the earth, move hundreds of miles in a second. The slow fields slow down the shifting earth, but the minds of the Lords are not contained.
OOC: I can't find a profile for the wraiths on the wiki. Do you have one?
OOC: Your response to my slow application misinterprets the blasts. The blasts aren't attempting to fire through the earth, rather, they are composed of slow energies which, upon meeting the walls of earth around the enclosed area, would apply themselves to the portion of earth affected. Seeing as I have twenty-three of these flak turrets which are firing off their rapid fire blasts in quick streams, I would be able to "paint" the walls, ceiling, and floor of earth quickly with slow and prevent those walls from moving in. Any additional earth would first have to come from one of those walls of earth, which, being affected by a layer of slow powers, would cause any newly attacking earth to likewise move through the slow barriers at an extremely slow rate, thus giving my forces ample time to both, apply more layers of slow energies, and escape to the inside of my Dread Wing.
The Maelstrom you speak off consists solely of airborne earth and other such materials. I had already posted that my forces were making use of the air and magnetism to push all rising dirt and earth away from them, thus, seeing as the earth cannot resist magnetism, and that by manipulating the air I can essentially govern the motion of any and all dirt that winds up in it, there should in fact be no Maelstrom; only a never ending torrent of dirt being forever pulled and pushed to the edges of my forces leaving my forces perfectly in the clear.
I also fail to see why teleporting through dirt would be dangerous. Beings can teleport through all manner of substances without being in any way harmed. Flying dust seems rather easy to teleport through.
Concerning your element lords resisting stasis, I would ask you whether these lords are in fact alive. Stasis works by slowing the life processes of a being. You seem to be saying that your element lords are essentially pure energy, which, if I am correct in my reading of the article on them on Biosector, they were certainly not. Because of the living nature of the lords, they should be affected by stasis. Assuming your lords are in some body made up of physically tangible materials, which seems to be the case given your statement that they are currently composed of their respective elements, they should be affected by slow, as slow affects the movement of any object. Water, ice, air, jungle, earth, stone can all be physically slowed while fire can be choked by slowing down the rate at which it is able to burn nearby materials.
Concerning my profile on wraiths. All of my heavily used units have profiles on my Seat of Chagrin page. You can find the basic profile there. Due to the highly customize-able nature of my Wing units, you will not find detailed specifications of powers, attributes.

"We operate under the authority of Grand Lord Makuta Charix. Our regional leader is Commander Tiprok. You wish to meet him?"
OOC: Can we resolve our previous battle? I ultimately just want to make sure those forces emerge unscathed and in possession of the armor the FSS troops shed. If you want to continue pressing your attacks, then I would like to proceed with that quickly, as I need to free up these troops.

Ooc: you may take the armour, but not anything more. Also I require the complete decimation of half of the Chagrin force.
"We would like to have audience with the highest ranking person we might be able to meet."

OOC: I won't consent to the destruction of half these forces without hearing from you on how my defense was inadequate. Earth and dirt can't overwhelm when hindered by slow. There are also some technical problems concerning the presence of a hardened, EP layer of rock that would prevent this hole from growing exceptionally deep.
OOC: As a side note, once again, the forces I was protecting have gone inactive.

OOC: Keith! I had almost forgotten to reply to your message! Yes, since Charix put Garadur in charge of the battle at this location, you could take an active role in this plot.
IC: @toa Kranok.
"Of course. Let me contact lord Garadur."
Garadur is contacted via mental message by an Oohnorahk. "My Lord, a certain team of Toa request an audience with you. The Toa seem to be seeking some form of alliance."

Slow does not stop earth from falling with the force of gravity. Even if you slow it down for a bit, eventually, it will crush your forces.

After reevaluating this battle and my posted defenses, I actually see another reason why the dome of earth on top of the units shouldn't be able to fall in and crush the units. Magnetism. I had already posted that I was using magnetism to cause incoming dust and earth to be pushed away from itself, and my forces. So, in theory, the earth on top of the units shouldn't be able to crush them due to the fact that it is being repelled by magnetism. Also, I had mentioned that the magnetism was also being applied in causing the earth and dirt to be repelled by itself. So the magnetism should have prevented even the formation of such a cohesive mass of dirt, rocks, etc directly above the units. Such a mass would have had to form well above the range of the magnetic field defense.
Stages 4-6 of Kraata of slow have the ability to slow down all motion in an area. While detailed information on the power is not available, it would seem like the power of slow works to negate kinetic energy, which, since gravity works by changing an object's potential energy into kinetic energy, would seem to slow gravity to.
Also, It should be noted that the forces were not trying to keep the earth up for 10 minutes or more. They were simply trying to hold it up for as long as it would take them to get aboard their OTAT's and escape to either Crescent Carrier, or Dread Wing. Once there, they would be protected from further attacks.

Even aboard the carrier, they would still be under several tons of earth. The magnetism would repel the first layer, but the amount of earth being piled on top would overwhelm the magnetism users. keep in mind there are Element Lords, albeit weaker variations. They are still much stronger than a Toa, and not too far from Nuva level.
OOC: After reviewing my moves, I concede that casualties on my part are merited. I am prepared to part with all forces taking refuge aboard the Crescent Carrier, as, the Carrier, unlike the Dread Wing which has dimensional shielding, has no means besides its disruption shield to fend off the attack. Under normal conditions, the disruption shield should be more than capable of fending off simple earth and rock attacks, however, given the enormity of the attack, and the mass of materials involved, the shield would surely have been weakened, and breached.
Here are a list of the forces that would be smashed if you agreed. -"Moonburn" Crescent Carrier - 2 attack squads of Vhotorahk (24)
-1 attack squad of Boggarak (12)
- 3 Kahgarak with mounted lightning emitters.
- 1 Kahgarak with mounted molecular disruption beam weapon
- 3 Kahgarak with Hau Shielding unit
- 1 Kahgarak.
"Tailisk" Vulture squad
"Forest" Vulture squad
"Valkyrie" Vulture squad
"Maniac" Vulture squad
These are the forces that were assigned to the Crescent Carrier, the others were assigned to the "Surveyor" Dread Wing and would have been protected.
Shadows crack open and two beings step through the rift created. Garadur turns, "Get the equipment here from them. I have places to be."
Garadur is acknowledged and the stolen Forosian armor is analyzed aboard the Dread Wing "Surveyor," which, allowing a newly rejuvenated force of Visorak aboard the original OTAT's to return to the land below, departs for the Floating Rocks.
A new force joins with the original forces to garrison the area.
- Flagship "Aggressive" Firedrake Wing of 8 FD Wing fleet.
-"Torch" Raptor squad (Each Wing armed with interior cordak cannon, and four chain gun shadow bolt blasters)
-“Telrix” Wraith squad (Each Wing equipped with shielding, telepathy, magnetism, and Hunger Kraata.)
-“Scourer” Surveyor Wing.
- 1 Attack squad of Rhoporahk
- 3 Attack squads of Vohtorahk
- 3 OTAT
- 1 Oohnorahk support squad (Five Visorak)
- 3 open topped airship transports (Each armed with one kanoka launcher turret.)
- 1 attack squad of Keelerak (11 Visorak)
- 1 Kohrok
- 10 Pahrak
- 10 Levahk
- 10 Kohrok
-3 Boggarak Deployers
-1 Sukkurahk Deployer commander
- 1 Oohnorahk Deployer
Ten "Sovereign" Obelisks teleport over to the area, and, parking themselves in a central area, stand guard.
Four "Defender" Obelisks, cloaked by shadow shielding and illusion, teleport high in the upper atmosphere above the area and begin spreading out over the area, preparing for operation.
