However, if it was well hidden, he'd simply come up with a much more efficient strategy. A time-dilated virus that would sweep through every databank, getting in and out before the computers even register what's happening and bring up defenses, was created. It took maybe years to develop, but not even a millisecond in realtime. It was a search and destroy attack, only targeting the information he was after.

Deep down, it was nothing fancy. However, combined with millennia to break through one computer- one that probably has barely reacted- it would work wonders.
