Atero Nui, once a great symbol of peace, unity, and restoration. Where Matoran and Agori, Toa and Glatorian, and even Skrall and Skakdi could live together in peace, without need and want, in paradise. This did not last long as the Toa that forced this city's creation failed to establish a proper government and protection force. After many battles and disasters, the city of cities has lost all of its legs, with not even a trace of dust and ashes left of the original place. Instead are the strange constructs and some buildings transformed into some strange metal by EP, the sole surviving structures of the once glorious city.
Perhaps this should be a sign to all who wish to build a city here or to restore this city. If you do, you will die. It is cursed for destruction, all you know and love will be wiped from existence if you do.
Three figures reappear as Slenderman shadowported the group out as he saw the wall of death.
Hydrice looks around at the ruins. "What on earth did this"
"I did." A green and black angel answered as she descended from the coulds. Thin blades mimicked silver wings on her back, and in her hands were two chrome cylinders.

The blue matoran eyes the stranger for a while. "I doubt it. Whatever it was, it was glowing, and you aren't the right color to make things that glow."

"Twice I was destined to save this city. Twice I secluded myself for my own desires."

"...What?" Water is pouring off Hydrice and beginning to pool at his feet.
A lone figure seemingly appeared in their midst, looking around in horror.
Tredixs floats down until he is levitating only around five feet above the heads of those here.
"It had to be done."
Eviice suddenly stopped mid-step. Slowly, he turned on his heel, eyeing the floating toa, "Excuse me? Since when was it a toa's duty to slaughter those he was sworn to protect?"

Leka pointed her cackling swords to the skakdi. "Haven't you noticed? The world is broken, and the matoran aren't Matoran anymore. The holy duties of Toa must finally be put to rest." She lifted her head to meet Tredixs' eyes. There was neither admiration nor fear, only a calm acknowledgement of mutual wisdom. Her gaze fell back down to Eviice.

Aerocide turned slightly towards her at her statement, but otherwise remains silent.
"So that's it, huh," Eviice growled, clenching his fists, "Just roll over and die because you Toa were too incompetent to do your job," jabbing a finger at her, he added "You and your selfishness lost this war, Toa. That is why this world is broken.
"Where was this so-called duty you claim to have upheld? Where were the Toa when the Brotherhood dropped a city on us? Where were the Toa when the Order fell? Where were the Toa when the last safe-haven for Matoran was blown apart? They were the ones pulling the trigger. And now, here you are, completely blind while a skakdi has to pump some sense back into you.
"So go ahead, use those fancy blade of your's against me. Show the world your true colors: you are not a Toa. You. Are. Pathetic."

Unmoving, Aerocide's gaze lingered on Eviice.
"I didn't kill the Matoran Skakdi. When I ended the threat, all the Matoran were evacuated. Well, the ones that weren't killed in the cross-fire between the other fighters. But you want to know where I was? I was there, every time. I was sent tumbling through universes for defending the Order of Mata Nui. I was disabling the Brotherhood's weapons of mass destruction in space until they blasted me into the Shadow Zone. Before everyone else even knew about the Energized Protodermis threat, I was there containing it. I contained the first leak that came to this city, I contained many of the leaks in the world. I fight threats on a scale you cannot fathom Skakdi, but I have my limits. As for you..."
Tredixs says as he looks down upon Leka, ready to just crush her skull.
"I did not give life to our old universe to see it end like this. I did not have plasma burn through my chest, had monsters cause my body to implode, had Dark Hunters cut off my limbs, had Makuta put me through the worst possible pain they could create, and die trying to stop all evils to see everything become broken and lost. A Toa's Duty is never done."
He mask glows, and for a brief moment the frost covering the mask melts away to show it is glowing bright red underneath before being covered up by ice again. With a hand outstretched, lose metal from far away comes flying in while other metal just starts appearing. Within a second, a Matoran full of life is formed and softly lands on the ground. It is clear that the Matoran is very confused, for sure he had died and now is here in a ruined city.
"This little one I did fail to save in time, but when it comes to someone with power like me Skakdi, life and death are one in the same."

"You believe I have given up on the world, on the innocent. You are wrong." She watched the matoran, soon finding him to be a lot like she once was before the Toa Mangai abandoned the city. "Like you, I have seen the foolishness of toa on this planet. They started wars, they corrupted matoran, and their code kept them too self-righteous to realize it. I was among the few who actually gave a karz about what I stood for. Where was I, Eviice?" Leka shook her head and maintained eye contact. "I was following the Code that did nothing to stop Order's demise, the decent of Av-Metru, the desolation of this city, or the deaths of innocents. The time has come for a change."
