Deep within the volcano, a portal opens. The group trying to fix the MoL emerges.
"Alright. So. Can you fix it?"
"That's the plan, unless you know of anyone else more more expertise than me. There isn't, excluding great beings, but I don't feel like asking Zurakia to fix Mata Nui. The last thing we need is a weaponized mata nui." Jalkron sat down and closed his eyes, thinking. "Does anyone know any trustworthy toa of psionics? This will be easiest if I, Dralik, and someone with psionic abilities form a kaita."

"I know a toa of light and the group of toa that was following me and that's about it. So no."

Kraskk speaks up. "I could control you and use my own elements as well. It would function similarly to what you have in mind." "Wouldn't work. I need to be consciously controlling at least my movements." "I could try and merge your mind with the hive mind I and my duplicates create. I've never done it before but it should be simple enough to accomplish." Jalkron nods, "That should work. Do it."
Kraskk creates about a dozen duplicates and brings Jalkron's mind into their hive mind. Jalkron walks over to the forge as two kraskk form a piece of pure protosteel. Working in perfect unison, Jalkron begins hammering the piece of metal as he pours heat into it. While he hammers the metal, Kraskk begins adding the fragments of the Ignika into the piece of metal. They attempt to bind the mental fragments to the red hot metal, working it with their minds as Jalkron works it with his hammer.

Bodayik watches intently, idly wondering what effects the hive mind might have on Jalkron's psyche.

This continues for many hours, Jalkron and Kraskk working without rest, even the smallest of flaws are hunted down. The mask of life must be perfect.
When they finally finish Jalkron carefully drains the heat from the mask and sets it on a work bench. As the mask cools from its red hot state, it becomes apparent that the metal is no longer a dark silver, but brilliant, shining gold. Jalkron sits down, exhausted, as Kraskk removes the duplicates and the hive mind. "It is done," the skakdi says.

OOC:So who controls Mata Nui?
OOC: Didn't he die when the mask was broken? Hence the scream, which slowly faded from the minds of the present beings? I'm not quite sure, now. SLIPPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! ...But in any case, not me. IC: Bodayik eyes the Mask. "Great." He looks around awkwardly. "Well, I suppose I've done what I set out to do. Unless you wish to consult me as to what to do with the Mask, I'll be on my way."

IC: Jalkron nods his head. "Thank you for everything you've done. I want the matoran to be able to see it again, but there is no doubt that if I do those who would use its power for evil will come from every corner of the universe. What do you think?"

OOC: That would make sense...
IC: Bodayik stares at the mask as he thinks. "It would give the matoran great hope... But if it were swiftly destroyed or stolen, that would be worse than not revealing it. Do you think you can protect it well?"

Jalkron starts thinking out loud, "Perhaps, and the mask is known for protecting itself. I could probably create an inter-dimensional signal that could reach me anywhere and bring the full might of Vatomak against any intruder. That plus many physical turrets and such, with kanoka, elemental, and kraata effects, with shields resistant to those powers as well. We'd need teleport and portal jammers as well. If you see any holes in my plans please speak up." Jalkron and Dralik begin drawing a basic structure on the workbench.

Bodayik nods. "But with only technology, a Nynrah Ghost Blaster or a mask of Biomechanics would be devastating. I could devise some defensive plants, Lightvines to ward off makuta and their control, a certain kind of grass that strangles those who wander in without the assistance of a Bo-toa, or simply modified Morbuzakh."

Jalkron stops drawing and begins thinking again. "There's no way we can create defenses that will be suitable against everything. Especially beings like Zurakia and Charix. Those two always pull some fancy new power combo or technological masterpiece out of nowhere for every situation."
Bodayik nods. "But with only technology, a Nynrah Ghost Blaster or a mask of Biomechanics would be devastating. Speaking of fancy new powers and technological masterpieces, there appeared to be a warp gate opening up nearby, somewhere just outside the volcano.

Bodayik frowns. "Hmmm. Defenses that change themselves? No, those could likely be solved as well. What, then...?"

The weapon systems charge and targeting computers lock on to the warp gate, but there is no visible activity, even with the use of masks and other sight enhancing abilities.
