OOC: Also, We Are Vashari , this is only a semi-canon RP right? I.e. Set in the same universe but has no effect on the main RP/universe. So if someone dies here they won't die there, and there can be minor differences to their character, such as goals/assigned missions.
Yeah.

Yeah.
OOC: Ah, good! Well then, looks like Faceless was assigned a different task by The Shadowed One in this universe. And even better is that his target is already far out in the open, and easily found.
It certainly helps when they're acting as the main attraction of a city wide event and all now doesn't it?~
The city of New Atero is celebrating the end of the winter season. Each of the Six Districts were buzzing with activity as the Winter Festival entered its sixth day. The Water District was decorated in colorful plants and art, its open market alive, and it's schools shut down. Xias 2 Nightclub was open even during the days, an ever popular center of community.
A crowd had formed around a table in the center of the floor, where two stood at either end. Toa Vashari and Makuta Antroz stood with a narrow box between them and four full glass’ sat at each side of the box. Antroz had his arm elbow deep in the box, almost stock still, as the crowd watched on in silence. His movement slow and deliberate, Antroz pulled out his arm and slapped a gold coin on the table. The crowd erupted in a roar of excitement as the Makuta drank one of the four glasses on his side.
Vashari clapped slowly. ”You certainly took your time.” He said with a rare smile.
”Well, it's your turn, boss.” Antroz said with a hint of sarcasm.
”I may not be very at games.” Vashari said as his arm disappeared slowly into the box. ”But this is about patience. And we both know I've had a lot of practice.” His arm emerged from the box and placed another gold coin on the table. ”Your move.” He drank as the roared at his back.
IC: Advena burst through the doors, shivering. Her cloak was covered in snow. She looked pretty tired, to say the least. She pulled back her hood before looking at Vashari and Antroz with a confused expression on her face. "What are you two doing?"
OOC: I'm assuming there's snow considering it's a winter festival? If not, I guess she just walked in normally
OOC: Yeah, except for the Fire District, maybe the Stone District, and the Ice District as its always snowy. Made winter makes the excess snow and ice from the Ice District and distributes it to the rest?
She's met by Rolvik who pulls he to the front of the crowd. ”Shh, don't be too loud when one of them has their hand inside. I'll let Marrlow explain.”
Next to them is a Matoran, quite unassuming, who is the owner of the game shop that opened down the street. ”Inside the box are ten gold coins. Each player takes turns trying to get one out, but the box is also filled with poisonous scorpions. The key is extracting the coins without getting stung. Who ever collects the most coins wins and the loser well...” He pointed to Rolviks arm, which is covered in bandages.
”Its fun! I lost fifthteen games already!”
“No one ever stood atop the heavens before. Not you, or I, or even the gods. But the unbearable vacancy of heavens throne ends now. From now on, I alone will stand at the top.”
OOC: Also, quick question, rainsong, can I give Faceless a sniper attachment for his Shotgun? It basically works by adding a second step of functioning, so while it still forms the ice into shards, it now then further forces them to be condensed into one larger, but also much denser shard (thus making reloading a turn longer than usual).
But the force behind the bullet isn't all that 'oomphed' up, just allowing it a whole lot greater range, so even if he did get a headshot chances of it being immediately fatal (so long as they have some form of Kanohi/face-guard/helment on) are low, and fairly survivable so long as they get (really) quick medical attention, and he doesn't get a second shot in. (Just one ice-bullet to the head would be hard enough to survive, much less stabilize/remove even with it's lack of ability to penetrate fully through the surface, and throw in a second, well... yeah, that'll be fun to work with (and have a much higher chance of having permanently lasting effect.))
If this is too OP or some-such I can further downgrade it by making it only have one use before essentially frying its systems (but also giving it an added 'oomph' in force to make it so if said shot hits, it actually can be fatal), and/or giving it some form of laser pointer (which I probably will either way.)

Wrong thread to ask, but it sounds fine. And a lot less lethal than the Black Snipers Light Rifle.

OOC: Figured it would be better to ask in this thread due to said attachment being canon/currently available to him only in this RP!verse

Species: Human. I'm pretty certain of that. Kanohi: Kanohi Bluglass, Mask of Anti-Glare Prescription Glasses Weapons and Equipment: Equipment: Flat caps. A wallet. A driving permit.
Weapons: I have an awesome katana on my wall.

Come! Come and listen, my friends. Listen as I regale you with the next chapter in the legend of the Bionicle.
From a... 'nearby' (enough) rooftop a figure, pitch black armour covering their form, and better hiding them in the night sky's shadows, was laying prone, peeking over the parapet of the roof with a pair of... somewhat odd looking binoculars.
"Hmmm... Target in sight. Winds favorable. Crowd's providing heavy noise cover and distraction. Not that I feel I'd need any more than the level of concentration this idiot's putting into this game of his. Looks like I have a shot at this." The figure, most assuredly a mercenary of some kind, muttered to himself as he lowered the binocular's. A glint of moonlight flashing across his helmet's visor in near-menacing fashion as he turned and began fiddling with some form of items, most likely weaponry, behind himself.

OOC: What the heck, even Vashari can’t take a headshot. Merry Christmas.
IC: A voice travels to Faceless’ ears somewhere to his right. “Whatcha doin’ there?”
The mercenary stilled before replying with, "Preparing to assassinate the Vanguard's leader, Vashari. Now, how did you manage to find me? Much less sneak up on me so quietly." in a surprisingly calm tone.

"Either you're unbelievably cocky to expose your position so readily, or you have legitimate reason to believe you can beat me." The mercenary replied in monotone.
"So, not going to tell me what I'm doing is wrong? Attempt to plead for Vashari's life? Perhaps try and alert someone, or even stop me yourself?" He said as he continued to fiddle with the weaponry behind himself.

IC: “In answer to your first questions, I’m a little bit of both,” the Matoran replied, stepping out of the shadows, a sly smile plastered on his white hau. He holds a sword in each hand and a Cordak launcher mounted on his back, over his shoulder. “And I have a hard time believing I could talk you out of this, seeing as you’re planning on murdering someone while they’re playing a game with their friends during the Winter Festival. That’s pretty messed up.”

"It's either that or go against The Shadowed One's will. You people may have confirmed his death, but none of us remaining Dark Hunters are foolish enough to believe there won't be some form of recompense should we go against whatever remnants of his will he left for us to accomplish. Or at least those of intelligence wouldn't dark risk the chance. Mine is just this, the assassination of a potential threat." The mercenary replied, still utterly unperturbed by the Matoran's appearance.
"So, shall we be dueling, or do you not... care enough to prevent me from accomplishing my goal before attempting to take me down?"

As the Ko-Matoran began to fire the mercenary suddenly shot into the air, the sound of shattering tile coming from below him before a pair of jets of water erupted from his feet, further flinging him back as he arced into a back-flip.
"And here I was hoping for a more peaceful conclusion to a job. Oh well." The Mercenary muttered with a sigh as he landed in a crouch, suddenly whipping a large, somewhat rectangular, weapon of both unknown, and clearly custom build from his side with a twirl. Ending with it held out, and aimed at the Matoran. It was clearly the weapon he'd been fiddling with earlier.
"Oh well, goodbye." The mercenary called as he pulled the weapons trigger, a burst of ice shard's erupting from the muzzle at high speeds, spreading out in a cone shaped AOE (6). Unfortunately due to his over-extended arm the kickback of the gun jerked his arm up, causing the shot to go a fair bit off-center
OOC: ... Welp, either way, even with the disadvantage roll (due to close, but not too close range causing the Matoran to now have to dodge from... around the center of a fairly wide cone composed of high speed, very sharp ice shards(but which you now won't need due to the failed roll)), you'd probably end up dodging this in full.

OOC: Y'know, I still love how my first thought upon joining a Christmas based side-RP is, 'throw in the heretical Matoran madman', and, 'try to assassinate the RP creator's main character'.
