Vidovit shrugs while his scanning suit probes at the Manipulator's outer casing with its invisible beams.
Pain turns to Vidovit as the Nova Vapor quickly dissipates from within the main courtroom.
"Sorry man, didn't mean to run off on you earlier. Can you believe this is happening? And here I thought the greatest threat to this planet was foreign. They're gonna tear themselves apart... I know how this sort of thing ends."

Vidovit is frowning. "No, it's fine. What I'm concerned about is that behemoth. He ripped through arbitrary spacetime barriers like they were nothing. Something fairly substantial's up, and I'm not sure how to deal with it. As for them.... Yeah. HOnestly it's mostly the Makuta, but yeah."

"I think there's more to blame here than just the Makuta. Whatever drove them mad is clearly starting to affect everyone else. To put it objectively, they're all malfunctioning. I'm fairly sure the scientists that built the Matoran Universe didn't make their A.I. immune to deterioration. And that guy... I've not seen power like that in a long time."
He looks down the street, listening to the sounds of conflict erupting elsewhere in the city. He calculates the sounds to be coming from the Citadel, where he first walked in on the madness.
"I came here looking for the Toa guardians of this city that I've heard about. Mangai or something. They're obviously not around anymore."

"You would appear to be correct. However, if they were indeed here, and as influential as you say, then they should be well-known. We should go hunt down a citizen."

OOC: The Magnum are sort of here
Vidovit hunts down the nearest Magnum and asks them what the karz happened to Atero

Solipsil bows his head slightly.
"Well... back in the courtroom... when I unleashed that electromagnetic field, I could burrow into the minds of everyone affected by it. If any of those Matoran and Toa knew where they went, I should also know by now. If they had no idea, who would?"

"You make a very good point. However, if something had the power to rip the memory of the Mangai free from the entire populace... It does not bode well."

"You think it might be that? I can already think of a few possible culprits, but... I dunno. The Matoran are sick with something, and I want to find out what it is... but I've also got priorities. I need to become stronger in order to kill some monsters."

"What monsters?"
"Just some insane, digital, self-proclaimed gods that have a lot to answer for. If you've really been in stasis or whatever until I found you, you probably haven't heard of them. Anyway, they're the ones responsible for corrupting my processing ability... which is only the mildest thing on a long list of far worse things."

"...Wait, yours?! You're essentially the single most advanced piece of tech I've ever encountered, well besides my successor, but in any case. These guys sound scary."

Solipsil bows his head slightly to glare at the ground.
"You don't know the half of it. The only thing I think they haven't taken from me is... well... me. At least I hope so.
I was at Xia just before I met you. Maybe you have that location filed somewhere in your mind. We found one of them there: The Composer. I thought I was meeting one of my worst enemies for the first time... but I... I think I saw something even worse. I became paralyzed by my own thoughts, trying to sort out everything I thought I knew about myself, because all of it was challenged the moment I saw him. I think I know what he is. I think I know what I am. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.
And that's all I can do now. I think, and I think, and I think. I can't stop, and it's killing me. It's actually killing me... "
He stops and looks back at Vidovit.
"Sorry, I didn't mean say all that out loud. It's really noisy in my head right now."
