Matoran scientists who are not inside the secret base that does not exist do not load cargo trucks with village founding stuff and teleport/adaptation kanoka buttons. Not at all. This is a perfectly innocent cliff after all.
The joint effort of the scientists produces a kiril and teleport based AA system 5hat tracks interceptor flight and impales them with their own speed and a spike of reconstitution. All NA colonies print one or more for their defense.
The colonies quickly grow into small villages, all buildings shrouded in de team cloaks. Gladys builder bots are made and teleported, and the colonies soon gain walls and proper production ability.
As colonies are brought up to speed and equipped with defenses and other things, science begins in earnest as many, many more matoran are produced. A plethora of matoran are free to do SCIENCE! Fe and De teams collaborate on uncovering the mysteries of boggorak and programmable Protodermis! Av team studies the legends of Umbra's species. Ce team makes better Vahki staffs. This takes a little while, but a staff of Presence with much longer lasting effects is quickly made with the magic of Pulse Bolt energy. Bo team makes seed-bullets that sprout at morbuzakh speeds into the grass Av-Teridax killed. Vo team makes lightning death rays to defend teh Charged Sea colony. Fa team makes a particle accelerator. Ba team studies Bakud Canyon and wonders how to duplicate it's effects... Su team makes the best mechs. Le team studies how to fly! Or, tries to forget about it, technically. They distract themselves with upgrading the Woodpeckers. Ta team tries to lace fire with elemental energy. Ko team makes better Chargers with pulse bolt energy rings so they don't drain matoran to death... Ga team makes water guns... that spray at fire hose strengths. They try making them stronga! Po team fine-tunes their terraforming technology.
High above the area, and in the upper atmosphere, five "Defender" Obelisks teleport into position. Virtually undetectable due to shadow shielding and illusion, these floating pillars begin to drift about the area, preparing their systems for operation.
