The guard outside the gate nods at the Hatter. "And a lovely headpiece you have! Tell me, where--"
He was suddenly cut off as the Toa of Psionics beside him tapped him on the shoulder. She silently pointed out into the field, where a group of Rahkshi had just flashed into being. Above them was a swarm of small flying creature, all heading for the city. Satisfied now that he had seen, she began to telepathically contact others throughout the city, who in turn got in touch with others. The defensive force was aware of the oncoming threat within seconds.
The guard bowed to the Hatter. "You have my most grievous apologies, but something has come up. Work, you know. Please, feel free to enter our city. I won't bar your way."
He retrieved his shield, adjusted a canister on his belt, and started off towards the trio. His companion followed a ways behind him. Another duo came through the gates and took position there, covering the post. The Toa who had just been thrust into a diplomatic role kept his sword sheathed, hoping all the while that the oncomers were more peaceful than they appeared.

"Stop right there."
The Rahkshi-Nui lifts one of his staffs, while the other two stand at the ready.
The Av-Makuta nodded at Inharax. "Thank you. I will keep this under consideration."
Another being appeared in the middle of his sentence, a rather bulky one. He seemed rather surprised by his surroundings. The Av-Makuta raised a hand in greeting, still in his comfortable kneeling position, and called out to him. "Welcome to the city of Aluxa! Who might you be?"
He received a telepathic message from one of his Oathsworn before he could get a response. Today, he thought, is shaping up to be a rather busy one.
Though he didn't intend to be rude, other matters took precedence. "I apologize. You will have to hold off on answering. Inharax, would you happen to know about a group of Rahkshi and flying creatures heading towards this city? It seems they look rather aggressive, and my guards are somewhat concerned." He left the fact that Rahkshi could only come from the Brotherhood unsaid, choosing to believe there was some explanation.
The Rahkshi-Nui lifts one of his staffs, while the other two stand at the ready.
"If it makes you feel better, I'm happy to." The guard planted his tall shield on the ground and folded his elbows atop the rim, leaning against it. "We seem to have been getting an awful lot of visitors today. Tell me, who might you be? I apologize for the abrupt greeting, but it has to be said; you don't look particularly peaceful."

"You judge correctly, a true rahkshi is a spawn of chaos. But when guided by the will of The Makuta, there can be... Order."
The left left rahkshi hisses as its spines twitch.
"We come on behalf of the Matoran and Agori here."

Inharax shakes his head, clearly more disappointed than surprised, and weary of being helpless as events transpired. "There is a rogue faction that has formed within the outer branches of the Brotherhood. We do not know their motives, but they do aim to destroy us and have been comfortable with targeting civilians. I did not think they would have access to Rahkshi."

The Av-Makuta folded his hands and sat them in his lap. "Though it is wrong of me to take pleasure in the fact, I will note that my remarks earlier were spot-on. Would you, perhaps, care to go speak with them? Perhaps you can pull those motives they have hidden from you into the Light."
He paused for a moment, thinking about who he was addressing.
"I would prefer it if you should keep things peaceful, at least until they make some direct aggressive action."

"You, foreigners, come on the behalf of our citizens?" The guard shakes his head. "Now I have seen everything. What do you feel that they need?"
"No, The Makuta sends us on behalf of these citizens. They must have the right to their own minds, to dream." The Rahkshi-Nui looks beyond the guards. "It seems my words have taken literal form."

"Inharax? The Makuta would like to speak with you personally, but first I am to complete my task."

Far above the City of Aluxa, a momentary bright flash of blue fire marks the arrival of yet another entity. Though none from below can get a proper look, given his altitude, some might easily recognize his aesthetic presence. His great, floating, radiant wings of blood-red light are outstretched to his sides, every blade-like feather splayed as far as they will naturally go.
The Uncreator watches the chaos descend upon the illuminated city from his vantage point, but does not yet intervene. Will this peaceful civilization have the capacity to defend itself, despite its youth? He figures he will soon see.
And then he may introduce himself.

Fireflyers notice him, but immediately move on forcing the agori and matoran to the streets.

Inharax uses Insect Control to force the entire Fireflyer populace to commit suicide.
