The Seal

OOC: Yes, I forgot to make a new post.

IC: The duo appear and Artidax proceeds to enter the cave. "Be wary. I have seen a few fields rip apart several large tunnlers."

They eventually reach a massive circle of iron engraved with ancient runes belonging to an old Matoran dialect. Artidax places his hand in the center and mutters. Umbrax can feel various magnetic pulls get stronger until the circle rolls to the right, revealing a dark hole. Artidax enters. "Now, for some light."

Artidax smirks and pulls a switch on the wall. Crystals embedded around the chamber begin to glow, casting light over rows upon rows of equipment, computers, and strange artifacts.

"Come," Artidax orders as he descends the stairs. He leads Umbrax through the halls, passing tables lined with tablets covered in Matoran script. Should Umbrax examine them, he would find that they are code for antidermis.

OOC: No reaction?

"The Great Beings' original notes on Antidermis. They are how I have come to this state. Come, your turn awaits." He leads Umbrax through a hall and into a spherical chamber. More Matoran runes surround the walls and in the center lies a golden pool of liquid. "Behold, the original antidermis."

"See, the apparatus to your right. It is what I used to force myself into this elevated state. This is where you must make your choice. Once the machine is activated, there is now going back. The future awaits. Will you join me and carry our brothers into the light of knowledge?"

"Excellent." Artidax motions for Umbrax to stand in the midst of the apparatus. He goes to the wall, places his hand on it, and begins muttering in an ancient tongue. The symbols begin to glow and the chamber is bathed in a dim, blue light. The pit of antidermis rises and soon the light becomes blinding. Umbrax feels immense pain, as if his very essence is being rewritten. Eventually, it subsides and everything returns to normal. Except now, Umbrax can feel the power.

"Good. Follow me outside. I am about to show you just how far this rabbit hole goes." Artidax walks outside.

Once outside, and the seal safely closed once more, Artidax grasps Umbrax by the hand and space begins to stretch. The sensation is that the very area around you is being transported. With a mighty *BOOM* the two Makuta find themselves on a cliff overlooking the valley of the seal. "We are the only of our kind in existence, Umbrax. There is a whole new world of possibilities. New powers as well as greater might. The feat I performed cannot be stopped by any current teleportation jammer. It would require much more sophisticated technology. It is less you moving to a new location and instead the new location moving to you. If you can picture it, you can be there. It is an ability I discovered in the last twenty-four hours."
