Shhhh... don't talk, don't even whisper... that would be much too loud for the matoran here. They work in utter silence, and communicate below what the average person can hear. If you were to make a sound, the Volitak-operated vahki would stop you with Shelek disks, so as to prevent any sonic distirbance.
Did you hear that? Someone just dropped a pin on the other side of the Metru, how could they be so noisy? Pfah, clumsy tourists.
Decu sits crosslegged in his stone hut, trying to meditate. Breathe... focus... on what I feel physically... on the lingering taste of bula berries... on that smell of- wet stone? Hmm... focus on the sounds of neighbor Metru at work... the sight of, and every detail on the wall in front of me... what I feel inside, in my heartlight, and my Ka. Into peaceful meditation I go...
Two matoran who started whispering outside get his attention, one of which seems to have an audio emitter that was off by that much, adding a hardly noticeable buzz to his voice.
But Decu noticed, and for some reason, it drove him mad. ''Would you just quiet?"
They kept talking, yet by now they were off down the street.
Ugh! I can't think! I just- I just need to focus... they're gone, but I still hear it. That horrific squeaky vibration whenever he pronounced his 's's 'g's and 'j's... that abrupt hollow thud whenever he pronounced a 'd' or 't' just won't go away! STOP! Just, focus on meditation... this will help me.

Unaware he is speaking, words resonate forth from his audio emitter. "...Valor? Hagah-Mata-Nui... in trouble... Life is threatened upon its return. Protect the Mask... a shadow never leaves... a shadow never holds its shape. Keep him away, he cannot be trusted... they lied. Remember, Hagah-Mata-Nui, remember... hide the Mask... don't let him- DELOTH!!!"
Decu immediately covers his audio receptors to block out the echo of his powerful scream, as do his neighbors.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Decu whispers.
"You hate us for making the slightest of noises, but you can split our heads with a practical power scream? Decu, we can't deal with this anymore, ever since Karzanhi you've acted as if we were the trespassers, while in reality it is you who cause us trouble! Why do we even permit you to reside here anymore?" Other De-matoran agree whole heartedly, with the rest merely nod their heads in partial shame.

Decu's head pulses with involuntary rage, everyone here was not only discounting his condition, but they were also invoking it! "Please," He whispered through gritted teeth."I'm sorry."
"There you go again! How do you expect us to just ignore your seething anger and demands for us to be completely silent? Sure, you are a De-matoran, but so are we and nothing we do ever bothers eachother. It's you, not us, you who needs to change!"
Decu didn't want change, he just wanted people to treat him according to his illness. Apparently thousands of years of his tribes pent up emotions have just been set off, so there was no going back. His fists clenched as he walked through the crowd, and left De-Metru once and for all. He wanted to scream out his frustrations at them, to make them feel his pain. He wanted to rip off everyone's kanohi and shatter them with his bare hands just to make them understand that mental suffocation he felt every time they triggered his illness. But instead he left without another word.
Barely audible cries of pain and anger resonate within the Metru.
Vahki immediately silence the Phantoms and what ever devices they brought from other Metru's (since no local noise makers could ever make sound above 10 decibels, even if they were modified by possession).

The matoran relax.
The Vahki are taken over and even more noise happens.

Instead, the vahki avoid the phantoms and shoot RaR disks into their form.
(roll is in slack)
One group suddenly loses control over their intangibility, becoming completely solid. The second group is shapeshifter into swarms of protodites, while the remaining phantoms are reduced to dust without control over their own movement.
