At a glance, an utterly unremarkable plain, dotted here and there with small lave lakes. You would never guess that it was the orbital axis of the planet. However, it is quite close to Aluxa, and recently construction has begun in the area. Small, squat buildings form a circle around the pole, spaced to form a ring almost twenty miles in diameter. At the exact center, excavation has begun. A massive, spiraling pit, already reaching down nearly five hundred feet. Crews of matoran carry the rubble to the refineries of the ring, which begin their work. Meanwhile, at about fifteen places on the ring, construction begins on something that seems much larger. Blocks of a shining, unidentifiable metal are carried by matoran from the refineries to the construction sites, where toa wait, using a combination of heat and metal control to shape the blocks into additions to the construct.
Deep underground, four Nuvohk, one Pahrak, and two Boggarak, Visorak Deployers move, slowly but syrely into the area. At length, one of the Nuvohk burrows upwards, almost to the surface. The Bohrok soon discovers the unique properties of the soil and rocks, and signals to his team. They burrow upwards, and, still under ground, begin drilling, extracting, and teleporting materials away.

The Bohrok and other units can't even make it deep underground, as it is impossible due to changes EP has made. If they somehow make it down there by accident, they are swiftly killed.

OOC: Who is EP? Is it energized protodermis? The Bohrok were traveling underground to begin with, and simply tried to tunnel into the area. If the ground is to tough, for them to get through, I'll just redo my move.
IC: Encountering the suddenly hardened rock of this area, the Bohrok stop. One of the deployers steps up and fires a weaken konaka disk at the rock to see if it will weaken it. The team signals their base, before trying to use combinations of weaken konaka, the Pahraks seismic energies, and the Nuhvok's earth shields to crack a piece of this rock off.
A phantokshi scout of vacuum flies far above and spies on the mining equippment, including the tunnel itself.
A scouting squad of chameleon, teleportation, Electricity, silence, quick-healing, and gravity Rahkshi scouts starts to examine the security from a distance.

OOC: This is done via light-resistant armor.
The details are relayed to the army via mind-reading rahkshi.
Seemingly out of nowhere, three legions of rahkshi surround the mining colony and take it by force, smashing all who oppose.

They continue to storm the mining facility, shadow leeching any who survive.
Turahk-Kal appears, having come from the Field of Shadows. "I must be tied to the Shadow Zone now, otherwise I could never have escaped. KR44T4 is responsible." He notices the rahkshi and corrupted beings mining the light-resistant alloy, so he quickly identifies himself as an inspection rahk and 'oversees' the mining operation, spreading his virus to all he touches.

Eventually, the suspicion arises when the rahkshi Turahk-Kal touches fall to the ground and surge in their own energies. He is taken into custody -again- while those already infected continue to spread the virus. 'Keep going, free your brothers.'
