An unexplained, incomprehensible join between two timestreams, originating at an undisclosed location somewhere in the badlands of Fe-Vo-Fa-Wahi, and resulting in an entirely new and vast stretch of white area. This anomaly is almost completely unnoticeable to regular folk, and even those attuned to the flow of time and space will find that gaining access is seemingly impossible. Perhaps some manner of permission, or a key, is required.
From about a hundred miles away, "Peace" looks at this, his body cameoflaged from all conventional methods of detection. He finds he cannot normally gain access, and therefore just watches it.
Be assured, there is no entity with such supernatural ability or otherwise that may glimpse upon that which transpires within the Conflux, except for he who called it into service, and those whom he brings with him.
Is it really you? You look... what happened to you?
Please... leave me be....
But I have been searching for so long. You just disappeared...
Did I? I do not understand your words. Grant me death, or grant me solitude.
You... don't recognize me?
I do not. I do not recognize anything. I do not... everything is lost to me.
What do you mean? Do you even know who you are?
I know I used to be part of something great. Something fearsome. I know it was all taken from me, little by little. I know I can never reclaim it. And I know I was left with this fleeting bit of information in spite of my suffering.
Oh no... you've been...
Emptied. Split open and hung to dry.
By who? Or... or what? Whatever did this to you, what did it look like?
A devil. A demon. With eyes that burn bright with hellish fire, capable of piercing straight through and reducing you to a blank canvas. There was a pain... one which I am sure I had never felt before. I still feel it in my fleeting memory. And when the punishment was done with, I was split open with but a glance. Reduced to this... with but a glance. How cruel, to let me remember how it happened.
And... how long did the pain last?
I could not keep track of time by then, but it must have been hundreds of thousands of years. I should have died...
That long?? But that's impossible... you've only been missing for a few months!! Unless...
That cannot be. Either you're lying, or you're more insane than I.
I know who did this to you. I'm so, so sorry. If what you say is true, there is nothing I can do to help. I wish that I could. I wish... I wish I could have been there.
To stop it from doing this to me?
No. To stop you from making a mistake. He saw you coming. He had to have seen you coming from mio away.
I suppose it does not matter who I used to be, however powerful or great I was. I am going to die here. Just do me a favor, stop confusing me, and end it already before I slip further into madness.
Did he at least let you keep your name?
No. Everything is gone, and I... wait... where are you going?? No... wait!! Don't go!! Don't leave me here like this! Come back and end my suffering!! DO YOU HEAR ME?! KILL ME!! COME BACK!!! KILL ME NOW!!! I CAN'T GO ON LIKE THIS!!! Kill me, please... please... don't go... please...
Nearly. Your mind was crushed and your body shattered. Such poor integrity would have cremated within the cauldron of Solis Magna. Yet you live.
"If darkness has not claimed me... then what has? Who is this savior that addresses me?"
I am a part of the greatest whole. A fragment, not unlike yourself. Though my existence is intentional.
"Abandon the riddles, stranger, and instead offer me answers. My memory has survived as I have, thus I am full aware of the mission I swore to accomplish."
Disregard your mission, for the sake of all. I pieced you back together for a new purpose.
"This is why I had not extended my thanks. There must be a price for your intervention... and I find myself ready to decline."
I will not allow you to leave until I am certain you understand the depth of our position. I will speak, and you will listen regardless. Otherwise I will fade away, and you, scholarly shard of the Equilibrium... you will die.
The Time Dilator examines the Conflux, wandering around it, searching for a breach in its mystical barrier. He is vaguely aware that he is currently visible to the others investigating, but he pays them no mind.

Shadows notice him with interest.
Suddenly pausing, the Time Dilator turns and stares directly at the shadows, somehow aware of their sentience. He stood for a full minute staring at it before losing interest and continuing to explore this strange place.

The Shadows follow.
Again, it pauses, turning towards it. Slowly, it takes a thunderous step towards the shadows.
