A forest of very tall vines ending in disproportionately huge leaves. These vines are a relative of the airweed Mahri Nui relied on, the main difference being that they collect helium rather than oxygen. As such, they defy gravity and grow to colossal heights. While the helium will escape if a vine is cut, one could also cut the vine and quickly seal it for a very interesting building material.
Jungle Agori and Glatorian go to work unloading supplies and building materials from the transports. They hope to harvest the skyweed and use it for comercial value.
FSS mobile Fortresses are set up in strategic positions manned by Glatorian and Vorox.
Two strange beings in black armor adorned with strange green symbols and runes stroll through the forest in search of civilization.
They are confronted by FSS sentries in a pair of tanks
The taller, more imposing one points his staff at them. His mask of Scavenging scowls at their armored vehicles. "Tell me your names and your intent." The other one, hunched in appearance and leaning on a staff with a rhotuka launcher on the end, glances between the tanks quickly. He analyzes them with his Kanohi Ako, mask of study, and his own logic...

"We are members of the Forosian Security Service. This land is now under the jurisdiction of the Forosian Confederacy. You will either depart at once, or submit to questioning."

They find the following: The shorter one's rhotuka power creates an energy-consuming, icy fire. He has a poison dagger sheathed at his side. The taller one has a pair of holstered pistols, rhotuka launchers hidden in his shoulderpads - that's why there are slits on the front, back, and outer sides - and a rhotuka power which changes into an attack best suited to counter the target. Neither of their species are common. "I will do neither, lest you present me with proof that you own this forest and that you are a legitimate power."

One of the FSS agents display a charter for Forosian Colonization. The others silently ready their weapons in case they need to act fast.

The tall one rolls up the charter. "Anyone could make a paper saying they own the sun. Where is your city? Your fortress? Your fence marked keep out?"

"If you had walked two hundred yards to the west, you would run into a Fortress demarcating this land as ours. East would take you into the foundations of settlement."

"Alright then." The tall one turns to the north and starts walking. The hunched one follows, still analyzing the sentries with his mask. "You should mark your territory more clearly."

"Perhaps you are right."
The tanks escort the pair out.
Once out of earshot of the tanks, the hunched one tells the tall one the capabilities of the tanks, and the probable threat level of Foros based on the tank's ability.

The tanks are heavily armoured, and nearly completely energy absorbent. The turret seems to be capable of firing projectiles, kanoka based or plasma based bolts. There are repeating weapons on the sides, and the tank itself can burrow beneath the ground using plasma devices to eat through soil and rock.

"Interesting finds, Thurnok. Investigate them further when you can."
Half a mile away, a being lies on a rock slab, peering through the sights of her sniper rifle at the Forosian outpost as she looks for the communications center.
