Venom's Peak stands menacingly atop a flattened patch of mountain side. Nestled right up against the sheer rock wall of one of the larger mountains in the area, the ringed tower stands as a reminder of a previous era in history. Banners bearing the symbol of a cruel, flaming dragon hang in organized rows on each level of the eighteen story tower. Sharp spikes arranged in groups adorn the walls, while barred windows allow the reclusive occupants to keep watch over their rugged domain. Streaks of dark red and green painted on the walls create a contrast with the reinforced dark grey stone/metal walls. On the very top of the tower, a large and long blue flag waves in in the gusty winds; the banner that used to represent the all seeing "Eye" of Chagrin. Who are the occupants of this tower and what are they doing? Perhaps the world will have reason to find out.
Torzek sits, perched in his elevated throne embedded in the wall several yards above his proclaimed "court room." For once, his mouth is devoid of his characteristic sly grin, instead, he stares straight ahead and at an opposite wall with a look of utmost disdain. At length, a shudder rolls through his long body and ends with a violent flick of his tail. The dragon sends a mental message to his lead officer, who, wasting no time, quickly enters the court room through the thick, double doors opposite from Torzek's throne. The Keelerak officer walks over purposely before bowing low to the ground. "How may I serve?" Torzek answers sharply. "It's time to take a count of my forces. I believe a re-activation is in order."
"What of the Hive?"
"Alert them. And make sure our labs are still operational."
"We will require more resources to kick start production up to pre-existing levels."
"You have permission to take Bohrok. Send the message to the Hive and have their garrison begin gathering resources."
" It shall be done."
The Keelerak bows again, and exits the chamber. Torzek remains upon his perch, entertaining his own thoughts. "Slowly and carefully. I'll take them by surprise. Just to think of it makes me laugh. That Rahkshi of shadow will crack, and I'll be feasting in Kra Koro in a few days."
Deep within Venom's Peak and on one of the higher floors, a dark passage leads to a number of highly secured prison rooms, each room awaiting personal enemies of Torzek. Outfitted with one, rather large S.A.D cam like device attached to the ceiling, each room is vacant, except for one. In this one room a Rahkshi of shadow kneels on the floor, seething with contained rage. Emblazoned on this servants armor is the mark of Chagrin, signifying this Rahkshi's special allegiance to Makuta Charix.
A sudden unhealthy breeze blows through the passage outside this Rahkshi's cell as Torzek himself ambles lazily through the corridor. Stopping outside the Rahkshi's cell, the dragon peers into the room through the small barred window in the door. The sight of the trapped Rahkshi fills him with sick pleasure, and he sarcastically hails the prisoner.
"Well, well, well, what have we hear? Has one of Charix's prized possessions gotton lost?
The Rahkshi ignores Torzek, and stares at the floor, its rage building with every second.
"Is the little shadow Rahkshi going to throw a temper tantrum? He'd better if he wants to escape, because his terrible, awesome and oh so successful master doesn't even know he's here! Ha! Imagine it, the all knowing Charix who demands respect doesn't even know what his so called servants do with their spare time! Ha! Pathetic!"
The Rahkshi suddenly releases a power scream and charges at the door in a whirlwind of fury, ramming it with its body again and again before dashing off around the room ramming into the walls before collapsing upon the floor in exhaustion.
"That won't do you any good worm. The only thing that will help you, you pathetic little shadow is the knowledge you possess. Come now, tell me what I want and you won't be crushed into ash."
The Rahkshi makes no signs that it even heard Torzek's words.
shaking his head, Torzek pushes a series of buttons and switches by the door with a flippant flick of his tail. Instantly, the device lets loose a blinding flash of light. The Rahkshi screeches in pain, as the device continues to blast the creature with overwhelming light. Torzek turns away from the room grinning all the way.
"Soon, I'll have it...Even if I have to trick someone into searching that creature's mind....I'll have the location of Kra Koro."
The lead visorak, upon entering the courtroom finds Torzek fast asleep atop his throne. The visorak carefully tries to get his attention.
"My lord... Excuse me sir...Sir."
Swallowing nervously, the visorak barks out in a louder voice before flinching as Torzek wakes. "Well than spider, (Torzek slowly responds) I hope your reason for waking me was well thought out."
"Yes it was Sir. It has come to our attention at the Hive that the ground consistency has changed. Our Bohrok are hindered in their collections by strangely impassible earth."
"How intriguing (Torzek says sarcastically). Did you really think I needed to hear that? Find a way to harvest it. Don't you creatures remember how that legendary Karuna-something had his armor cut? Do sometimes in useful for a change and let me rest."
It finally happened. Finally, after months of hard work, the Rahkshi has finally cracked. After weakening the creature substantially, Torzek was able to bring in a Bohrok governed by a krana Za-Kal to read the Rahkshi's broken mind. The best day of Torzek's life has arrived, as he calls a meeting among his subordinates within Venom's Peak. Knowing most of them are still loyal to Charix, it will take an act of trickery to persuade them to attack a key stronghold of Charix's. After briefly entertaining a dozen schemes, Torzek decides to scrap it. Yes, why bother persuading the pesky spiders when he can take direct control of the Bohrok, his venom flyers, and the massive potential for a fully mechanized army? Why not simply eliminate the visorak, and remake the forces of Venom's Peak in his own image? Maybe he'll train his own visorak someday after his inevitable victory. Or...Maybe not.
Internal preparations at 15%. Time to call his venom flyers together.
Internal preparations at 50%. Exo Toa at Venom's Peak begin training exercises within the walls. An offensive division is dispatched to the Hive to secure it, and alert the considerable number of venom flyers there to be ready. Torzek is alerted that some visorak in the Hive are getting wise and preparing their own, personal guards. Hopefully this won't become a bigger conflict then it needs to, after all, they are all just over-sized bugs.
Some visorak at Venom's Peak begin to act nervous. Why should this be? Have they been in contact with someone at the Hive? No matter, the spiders can't get away.

As Torzek enjoys a vivid dream of publicly embarrassing Charix, he hears an annoyed screechy sound from beneath him. Stretching, he gradually opens his eyes and the dimly lighted scene of his courtroom comes into focus...Down below his throne stands a Rahkshi. "What is this nuisance? (He thinks) Don't they realize my sleep is more important then their petty concerns?" Gradually, he begins to remember that he does not, in fact, have any Rahkshi under his control..."Strange". The Rahkshi, coming into greater focus as he is forced to so inconveniently open his eyes, gives off another annoyed screech. "Who does this worm think it is?" Whack! A cutting mental attack suddenly rips into Torzek's mind; his body recoils backwards at a speed he has not moved in months. "Ach! Tyglax"
A very frustrated Tyglax stands below, glaring daggers at Torzek. "Time to wake up! Report your activities!"
"Well, what do you want Rahkshi?"
"You know exactly what I want. Report your activity!"
"Well, well, what can I say? What do you want to hear? Surely you wouldn't want to know about all the very, very dull things that I've been doing. All that routine maintenance, and hard, hard work-"
Tyglax lets out a power scream that causes Torzek's body to jerk into a protective curl. "Torzek, shall we act like responsible servants of Charix or like spoiled brats?! Enough of your juvenile antics. I have arrived and I expect to find all affairs in order."
Torzek peeps his head out of his tightly coiled body. "Fine. I activated the Bohrok Hive and have been preparing for minimal military readiness. I took a small inventory of resources and found our raw materials lacking. The Hive has somehow been caught between super dense rock that the Bohrok can't break through. Some visorak are trying to find a way around that problem. The Hive has made contact with a tribe of Zyglak. They are surprisingly advanced, and we have allied ourselves with them...That is all."
"Is it? You have a Rahkshi of shadow in captivity."
"Do I really?"
"Release him at once. I would ask what you were planning if I felt it was anything of any consequence. But I don't. Scrap it. I'm taking charge of this operation. It's time we restored our holdings to their former glory. I have successfully overseen the building of the new Chagrin. It will be revealed soon. For now, you are to send a message to the Hive. We are in need of our air force. Make all necessary preparations. I have come with Kra matoran. They will create visorak, kahgarak, konaka disks, and all other necessary equipment. As for you, you can turn over that throne to me; you won't be needing it anymore. I am deploying you as commander of tactics. Your place will be in the Hive. Get yourself over there and manage their activities immediately."
They are detected, and tracked. A mental message hails them.
"Hail incoming beings! You are entering protected territory. State your purpose and allegiance."
Enmer responds.
"We are Bone Hunters and I am their chief. We have come to renew our alliance after the unfortunate demise of our previous leader."
The response comes quickly. "You may continue your approach."
The gate in the outer wall of Venom's Peak opens, and one attack squad of Roporahk and one attack squad of Vohtorahk march out and stand outside waiting to greet the Bone Hunters.

Enmer and five other warriors dismount and enter.
The Bone Hunters are promptly lead into the court room by a Boggarak and six Tanohk. They find Torzek, perched lazily on his elevated throne. The dragon peers down at the Bone Hunters curiously.
"Aah, Bone Hunters. You noticed our return to activity?"

Enmer approaches. "Yes. Seeing your return to relevance, the other chiefs decided it would be best to use your superior technology to discover a way to harness the inert protodermis that has so recently covered the lands."
