Inside the "Surveyor", Tiprock turns to the Toa leader.
"Toa! Can ye direct your Toa of stone, earth and plantlife to form an army of plant covered stone and earth statutes? My forces can cast an illusion upon them making them appear as a fearsome army! I want to spy the response the enemy has for such a ground force. We need to move the fleet closer before you would create this force, but I ask if such a thing is possible for you?"

The Nightmare King appears here having been teleported here by Krakarda.
The moment he appears, he freezes in place, unable to move.
Before him, a mass of long tendrils gather into a single form, wrapping around a glowing energy source to create the silhouette of Adaptarix. The King suddenly finds a sword pointed at his throat, sprouting directly from the being's forearm.
Eyes narrow, he hisses, "And who might you be, intruder? Answer, or I cut you down here and now."
"I was teleported here, by what I assume to be one of your allies. If that is not the case, than I would wish to have your foe that sent me here cut down."
Several hundred miles away from the fortress, and high up in the upper atmosphere, a single Defender Obelisk teleports into position.
Almost immediately after appearing, it casts an illusion across the area around it making it appear that nothing unusual has occurred. Upon the establishment of the illusion, a large fleet teleports nearby the Obelisk. The fleet is comprised of:
-49 Firedrake Wings
-8 Shadow Wing squads
-1 Wraith Wing squad
-2 Surveyor Wings
-5 Vulture Wing squads
-4 Raptor Wing squads
-1 Crescent Carrier
Within a few seconds, a thick, acidic fog begins forming all about the fleet.
Closer to the ground, the Dread Wing "Surveyor" teleports into position under cover of the same illusion.
One Thousand Hau shielded Rhotahka armed Rahkshi arrive with fifty Juggernaut tanks inside this place.

Throughout his many voyages around the planet, the Time Dilator stumbles upon the ground forces. An invisible wall to him- the illusions not stopping him from accidentally bumping into them- he immediately takes interest and scouts out the area, finding the rough circumference of their armies that aren't in the sky.
Given their close proximity to the Stronghold, as well as the knowledge of recently making an enemy out of Krakarda and his illusions, him and the computer put two and two together and realize an attack is coming.
The Stronghold readies itself to retaliate, but makes no move so as to not alert the enemies to their knowledge of the siege.

The dagger inches closer to the king's face, glimmering in the sunlight, "Oh really? Do you take me for a fool, stranger? I am not in the best mood right now, so I'm not really feeling merciful today. Give me one good reason I should let you live."

"You know that feeling when you tell someone the truth and they just sorta laugh and force you to fabricate something else? Trust me you don't want me to fabricate something else, but if you keep insisting I will show you why I was teleported here, and hopefully we will both survive it."

Adaptarix chuckled, "Alright, tell you what, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Tell me this oh-so-villainous foe that transported you here, and I'll see if it checks out. If you are telling the truth, you get your mind wiped of this location and I'll send you on your merry way. If you're lying, well," he twisted his blade slightly, the white streak of reflected sunlight swirling sporadically as it rotated, "I've been itching to kill something lately."

"Hail, Forces of the Lord Makuta Garadur's Order! We are currently consolidating our force. The army of one last ally are pledged to be here before we begin our strike. You are also to be alerted that we are being assisted by a small army of Toa. Commander Tiprok is presiding over this campaign and I am his communications officer. You are to be informed that our first line of action will be in sending a illusion created fake army upon the fortress. This will enable us to gauge their response and active weapons. I have just been informed that a ground force is to be dispatched to your location. Stand by."

You aren't the GB he was referring too though. No...You are like him. You have the same aura about you..."

Adaptarix closed his eyes for a second, communicating with both the computer and the time dilator. Almost immediately, his mouth spread into a sneer, and his eyes snapped open into a wrathful gaze, "Question: was this before or after you allied yourself with him? If I recall, your exact words were, 'If you wish for my assistance on destroying one of them, I will gladly help.' Did you really think you could fool him with your pathetic lies?"
Adaptarix brought his sword arm up and over his shoulder, his body tensing, ready to strike right at the Nightmare King's neck.

On the ground, the Boggarak ground commander of the offensive effort, flanked by three Boggarak D. guards, goes looking for the commander of the Rahkshi force.

Adaptarix brought his sword arm up and over his shoulder, his body tensing, ready to strike right at the Nightmare King's neck.
Adaptarix's worst fear materializes right in front of him.
"You have no idea what the "Great" Beings have done to me. I was a general of the Core War. My base was sucked into a time loop. I have lived the same day the same fight for over a thousand years. I have watched my compatriots slowly lose their sanity until only I remained. Do you know why I fought on? I fought because I knew that one day, one day I would be free. One day I would make them pay. That day is now. If your "Great" Being is one of the ones that trapped me than he shall feel true fear."
Six rahkshi-ish beings are teleported here, staying the shadow zone as they have no way out. They await orders, itching to kill and destroy.
The first thing the Hunters notice upon their arrival is light. A harsh, bright light fills the area a good two dozen feet all around the Hunters. As the Hunter's eyes adjust to the sudden presence of light, they begin to make out a few forms moving about. A group of seven beings clad in black armor stand facing each other a few yards away while about two Rahkshi, two seven foot tall obelisk like structures, and three Vohtorak can also be seen waiting nearby. The Hunters may also notice the source of the light. A dozen small box like devices have been placed together on the ground nearby the assembly of beings. These devices, acting as flood lights, provide a steady light source for the area.
Sagtrill, amongst the six other beings nearby, glaces over and gestures for the Hunter's to walk over. "Come. We will be working with my associates. Introductions may be in order as this band of misfits will be tiptoeing around us."
Clearly annoyed at Sagtrill's lighthearted sarcasm, one of the Toa speaks up immediately in a straight, respectful, and particularly formal tone. "Greetings are in order. Sagtrill explained of your creation. My name is Menfril, and these (he gestures with his hands to the Toa immediately to his right and left) are my brothers Plagrow and Mardrik. The others are known as Larklow, Forster, and Umbaril (He gestures to each one). I am aware you are ready to proceed with haste." Menfril nods to Plagrow, who, with a guarded, thoughtful expression on his face, steps forwards quickly to the Hunters. Across his shoulder are slung six straps of flexible proterdermis material upon each of which are attached two small box like devices similar to the one used by Sagtrill earlier. As he approaches, Plagrow takes the straps and makes to hand them out to the Hunters as Menfril speaks up again.
"Upon the straps you will find two devices, one of which utilizes energies to briefly open a portal about you through to the regular dimension. The other simply lights up the area about you. I believe you will find them useful. Now, although your classification was, to this point, simply EX-TR 1-6. I am sure we could agree that each of you demand more specific indicators of identity. Have you preferences for yourselves?"
Inside the "Surveyor", Tiprock turns to the Toa leader.
"Toa! Can ye direct your Toa of stone, earth and plantlife to form an army of plant covered stone and earth statutes? My forces can cast an illusion upon them making them appear as a fearsome army! The ce-toa commander pauses for a moment. "Of course. Signal when you are ready.
A vast, black shadow approaches with the Atlantis. Inside the shadow is a large army, rahkshi and rahi marching in immense number. Miles out of eyeshot, the rahkshi of illusion and silence cloak the group.

Response. "Excellent. Another ally is en route here. When they arrive, we shall begin our approach."
