An illusion is cast upon the region as two Crescent Carriers teleport into the shadow zone. The Carriers open portals for themselves to emerge under the cover of the illusion into the region's airspace. The Carriers shrink themselves and their occupants using shrink tech before entering the Castle's rear hanger and landing.
News of the defeat is broadcasted to all Chagrin established strongholds. Tiprok, the elite troops, a wealth of war equipment, the Toa Vigilem, and two offensive fleets and armies have all been killed and destroyed in the attack.
As the Carrier's hanger doors open, a group of exo toa flanking a Suukurak shrink themselves, before stepping on board. Observing the Hunter, Kraanohi, and the Oohnorak team, the Suukurak speaks in a somber, yet formal tone, addressing the Red Hunter and the Oohnorak.
"Zakaz and the board wish to speak with the two of you."

"The battle. They wish to hear a first hand account."
She is greeted and saluted by a Suukurak, who promptly guides her to the third story, central board room of Chagrin. The room is a large, circular chamber, dominated by a long, rectangular table. Several large computer monitors line one wall of the chamber, while the rest of the walls are adorned with banners. Two Vohtorak, a Boggarak, a Keelerak, a Suukurak, and an Oohnorak are already seated at the table. Counting the ones already taken, there are fifteen chairs positioned about the table.
One of the Vohtorak is seated at the far end of the table. This Vohtorak stands up as Antermina enters and hails her in a tone of respectful formality. "Lord Makuta. We are pleased to entertain you here. Unfortunately, we are gathered here to recount this initial failure and attempt to correct it."

She learns that although the Visorak expect her to seat at the opposite end of the table, there is no pre-arranged seat for her.
The Vohtorak nods. "Our error lay on our consolidation of force. We were sure that in numbers lay our protection, but, the enemies strength was greater than anything previously witnessed. It becomes clear now that future attacks must be done by forces that are more spread out and concealed. I am of the opinion that forces not directly engaging the enemy should be based in some adjacent region where they can, under speed enhancement, enter and exit the battlefield to avoid unnecessary danger."
The Boggarak clears its throat gruffly before speaking up suddenly. "Lord Makuta, although great emphasis has been placed on keeping our forces safe, the real emphasis should have been, in my opinion, on harming and attacking the enemy, and on that front we have encountered complete failure through the enemies use of a energy compound never previously encountered. If this battle is to be won, we must begin taking note of ways around this energy field"
The Vohtorak, slightly annoyed by the Boggarak's words, responds in a stiff manner. "That is a given and hardly needs voicing."
The Oohnorak, casting a thoughtful glance at both the Vohtorak and the Boggarak, quietly speaks up. "We should devote this time to noting ways we can, both, keep our forces hidden, and launch effective attacks. I noted that, had it not been for the adapting Zurakian adoption of molecular disruption, there would have been nothing keeping us from having smashed Zurakia upon his appearance. Molecular disruption is certainly a good tool if we can force the adapting Zurakian to take on another, less threatening power."

Jammers, RR only! Highlight to read. "Lord Makuta, I have a plan that I have just had my Oohnorak send to our attacking forces. I perceive that psionic force was successfully used to push the Zurakian fortress about. My plan is to use that force to push it into something that would cripple it. For starters, I am ordering a complete destruction of the ground surrounding the fortress, leveling it some distance and creating a large region wide moat about the robot's little island of energy. Second, large swaths of polluted ocean water are to be teleported out of the sea and into this moat, creating a large watery lake around the robot. Third, acid rain turns the water into a poisonous, corrosive, and lethal substance. Fourth, one of our war ships enhances itself with limited invulnerability, and shapshifts its hull to be lined with particularly long and large spikes. These spikes are laced with disintegration and fragmentation. The ship teleports itself, along with a detachment of Gahlok who will keep the water away from the ship, directly under water and next to the robot's island. Fifth, we use psionics to push the robot off of its island, into the sea of acid, after which it will fall to the bottom and on top of the shape shifted ship. The ship's spikes will pierce the robot's shell, allowing gallons of acid, directed by the Gahlok, to rush inside and overtake the enemy. Does this plan meet my Lord's approval? Perhaps it can be improved upon with additional measures to ensure success?"

Antermina responds mentally. [Hmmm. Yes, that sounds like a fine plan. But it handles only the fortress itself. We need to find a defense or weapon against their Manipulator, or that ship will only give them another tool.]

Molecular disruption is certainly a good tool if we can force the adapting Zurakian to take on another, less threatening power."
Antermina sits at the end seat and nods. "The Oohnorak is right. We are deficient in both sides of battle. Might I ask how the Adapting one halted assaults of molecular disruption? If he took control of it like a toa, and is limited to one type of energy, then pairing with another type of attack such as Disintegration may bypass the need to occupy his mimicry altogether." Antermina pauses for a moment. "Failing that... Felnas may have useful effects on his power, and teleporting him out of the battle entirely would buy a few precious seconds to get a blast in. His technology likely resists biomechanics, but it's worth a shot. "And then there is, of course, the mundane option of using Magnetism or a similar power to maintain deadly force to the Zurakian, forcing him to counter with the same ability."
"About what?" The Red Hunter's eyes go unfocused as he concentrates on the mental conversation in his head. The rest of the hunters will be arriving soon.
"The battle. They wish to hear a first hand account."
The Red Hunter nods and walks towards the exit. He pauses and turns to the visorak holding the kraanohi, saying, "Your lives depend on him surviving." The rest of the hunters arrive, and they all proceed to the meeting.
The Boggarak, after some thought, speaks up again.

Antermina responds mentally. [Hmmm. Yes, that sounds like a fine plan. But it handles only the fortress itself. We need to find a defense or weapon against their Manipulator, or that ship will only give them another tool.]
Response.
[ "Allies who are so affected can be frozen solid by Kohrok, shocked into disrepair by a lightning based attack, sucked into the shadow zone by a Kahgarak, or simply psionically restrained. In the matter of the ship being sent, I have ordered that it's systems be frozen solid and placed in stasis for the duration of its deployment. In the event these measures are breached, the Rhoporak power outage effect should work wonders."
OOC: I'm glad you mentioned it. I had overlooked that matter.]

[Alright then. Proceed. Are your scanners capable of seeing the inside of the Fortress? If so, we may be able to target critical areas first. Power generators, factories and the like. Perhaps we can get rid of the large aura in one fell swoop.]
One of the Defender Obelisks positioned above the region teleports away.
Energy channeling weapons across New Chagrin suddenly let loose several withering barrages of molecular disruption. Each and every one of these blasts is teleported away.
"The battle. They wish to hear a first hand account."
The Red Hunter nods and walks towards the exit. He pauses and turns to the visorak holding the kraanohi, saying, "Your lives depend on him surviving." The rest of the hunters arrive, and they all proceed to the meeting.
The remaining Oohnorak nod seriously. They send a mental message and work begins on a body for the Kraanohi. Creativity is encouraged. Work at 0%

["Excellent idea my lord! X-Ray vision will be deployed immediately. With a little luck, the fortress will have remained as it was when we attempted to teleport units inside of it. As long as teleport blockers are not enabled, we should be able to knock out their systems with targeted teleportation of acid and molecular disruption."]
At this moment, the Hunters probably arrive. The Vohtorak glances at them curiously, before speaking to them.
"Greetings Hunters. I have heard of you. I am Zakaz, chairman of the Board of Chagrin. My colleagues, he gestures to the surrounding Visorak, are all high ranking officers here.
Turning to Antermina, he dips his head and continues. "My lord Makuta, these are a team of specialists who my lord Charix has in his service."
