OOC: I'm gonna be gone for approximately the next 6 days.
IC: The Juggernaut regards the colossal Makuta leader with no newfound respect, but rather the same as always: casual and indifferent.
"Zeytran. Seems only a few days ago you were chasing after me without purpose. And now look at you--the Brotherhood's newest leader and... you've gained weight."
It's extremely hard to tell if the ending jab was meant as a joke. He glances at Crystalia and the other two, but still addresses Zeytran.
"I wonder as to whether you've changed anything for the better; anything that might help break the cycle of failure the Makuta have been imprisoned in."
OOC: Okie dokie
IC: "If memory serves correct, it was only a few days ago. You were once my leader, and I had wished for that. You had denied such, so I decided to take matters into my own hands for once." Zeytran chuckles a bit at the lastpart.
"There is unity and loyalty. I am preparing to amass an army. The Matoran and Agori won't know what hit them!" He chuckles again. "Brother, while you are most certainly welcome upon Destral, have you come to rejoin the Brotherhood?"
"No. The Brotherhood is in a sorry state; a hollow shell of its former greatness. The way I see it, your leadership will not change that without the undying zeal of every pledged Makuta."
Karunax folds his arms, as if to cast the point of distancing himself from Zeytran and his followers.
"Your enemies will defeat you, even if your victory appears secure. And why is that? Because there will always be that one Makuta who elevates himself above the Brotherhood."
His crimson eyes dart between the gathered Makuta, boring into each of them with a toxic judgement.
"I wonder which of them it will be this next time?"

"I will not lie. It is. It's in shambles and it's disgusting. Which is what I am trying to mend." He glares at Karunax. "That is true. And wanna know what I see, Karunax? You are elevating yourself above the Brotherhood. Just like Inharax did." He crosses all four of his arms, his seven eyes gleaming.

"Inharax was consumed by greed. I have not elevated myself any higher then I've ever been... though I can see how you would think that, considering you've chosen to remain in a Brotherhood that is rapidly sinking. All things considered, you are right in that respect: I am well above the modern Brotherhood, yet I am not the one that shifted."
Karunax turns his back on Zeytran.
"Perhaps I am that one Makuta this time around, but I will not bear the blame--for my desertion from this mockery is only speeding along the inevitable. How many more times will you face crushing defeat before there is nothing more to rebuild, Zeytran? When will you realize that all of your effort is for nothing?"

"Yes, I suppose we can agree on that front. My loyalty is what keeps me in this brotherhood. There are Makuta who will follow me. I am not like Inharax, I will not abandon my brethren at the first sign of trouble. I will rebuild this brotherhood. You're desertion? You were once my leader. You were usurped." He sighs. "I told you it before, I do not abandon my fellow Makuta. And what else is there left for me to do, except rebuild the shattered pieces?" He grimaces, his violet and black eyes narrowing.

After a few seconds of silence, Karunax repeats his last question. Apparently he wants both questions answered directly.
"When will you realize that all of your effort is for nothing??"

"When I have proof! I don't give up!" He growls back.

After many more seconds of silence, Karunax turns halfway to look back at Zeytran, his eyes ablaze with... fury? It is difficult to tell. He remarks plainly,
"Then lead on, Zeytran... for the sake of the Brotherhood's eternal glory."

Zeytran shrugs. "Glory? Our Glory was destroyed with Inharax's greed. I will restore it." He turns to the group of Makuta. "Brothers, Sisters! Will you follow my lead?!" He says, subliminally daring any of them to contradict them.

"That is unlikely... yet not impossible. We will see where your guidance takes them. In the meantime, I have a demon to catch. Good luck, brother."
He turns back and starts walking down the corridor, away from Zeytran and the others.

"And luck to you as well, brother."
Zeytran gives a nod of respect, before turning back to the group.

"Where you lead, I will always follow, I would do anything for my leader, but if he show weakness, I shall correct him, it is my duty."

"Weakness is not something I show, Koval." He says, he looks to Crystalia, murmuring something in her ear. She suddenly departs.
Karunax journeys through the Catacombs, not bothering with a teleport. Before he reaches the surface, however, a large cloud of blue vapors seeps from the walls and pools to block his way, scorching everything it touches with an audible hiss. The Makuta addresses it with annoyance.
"Still haven't scared you off?"
"I could turn your very being inside out--I'm not afraid of you. On a less angry note, it doesn't matter if you're a monster or... "
"I, the monster? While you set out to torture every living thing for satisfaction?"
The vapor continues, ignoring his stabbing words.
" ... You're the only other one that truly understands what's going on. No more cold readings; I'll keep separate from you."
"Good."
"But I need to build myself a body to focus around. It's not easy to keep this shapeless state from drifting apart. I'm sure you can somehow relate, given your... stuff."
