A noticeable group of Ma'Kren burrow into the region, with several of the largest, smallest and strangest of them beginning to fight one another. One particular Ma'Kren seems to have an advantage... She's immune to their poisons and venoms.
OOC: How did they approach the region? I have unmanned outposts laid out systematically across the region, and any attempt to burrow into the ground would be met by an appropriate response. Are these Ma'Kren Rahi, or recognizable beings?
IC: As the Ma'Kren approach, their shadows darken and an "Eye" observes them intently, determining whether they are a threat.
OOC: Rahi, and they are... They have special properties.
The air crackles ten feet above the sand, and with a fwoosh of air pressure a vortex has formed, a portal to who knows where. A toa of psionics drops out of it and it closes above her upon her landing. A mental message fills the region. "I was told there were makuta who allied themselves with the matoran here. I wish to speak with them."
A mental report is sent to Charix and Tyglax while a similar report is sent to Antermina. " This is an official Oohnorahk report of the Desert region. A Toa of psionics has hailed us. His intentions are unknown, but he seeks an audience." A mental message responds to the Toa.
"You have found them. Report your identity and allegiance."
"I am Ceriah, and my allegiance is with the Matoran. Who are the enemies of you, and thus the matoran?"
A mental message is sent to Lablisk who has his accompanying Oohnorahk respond to the Toa.
Ceriah is scanned mentally with mind reading, Rhode, radar, and sonics to determine if the nature of the Toa, and of her truthfulness.
"Lead officer Lablisk responds to your question. The false regime of the traitor Inharax, Great Being's who desire war, rogue Makuta, and hostile aliens are all enemies of the Restored Brother-Hood."

OOC: They are a threat, or simply recognizable beings? My forces would determine whether they are intelligent enough to be mentally scanned and warned or simply ignored.

OOC: They are rahi. They are a threat if threatened. Some are more intelligent than others, but only Rek'Sai, their queen, would be intelligent enough to be warned.

Ceriah is naturally mentally shielded due to her element, but rode determines she does not lie. What the point of radar and sonics is, I shall not know.
Our toa will endeavor to assist. Who are these rogue makuta and hostile aliens?
Unless his mind is easily read, he is unlikely to be noticed... Unless Charix has a scanning ace up his sleeve I forgot about
"Absent" is mentally shielded and thus can avoid such detection. As for any scanning devices that Charix would have, he already proved to be undetected at the Bone Hunter Camp.

"Makuta who promote themselves as independent war lords are automatically labeled rogue. The empire of Foros falls in this camp. Aliens are all beings who, acting alone or with others, fall into no officially recognized organization and who see fit to meddle in the affairs of this world. You said you seek to help? My forces are preparing to dispatch a combat group to aid in the launch of a campaign against the recently emergent great being Zurakia."

We will assist where we can. Is that all? The portal slowly reopens above the toa.

"That is all. My forces are set to rendezvous with my Lord Makuta's other forces in the Mountain Region. The deployment will be begin there."
"Absent" looks around to see if he can find a base.
As he enters the region, he automatically spies a small, bunker type structure with two rather tall antennae sticking out of its roof. No sign of activity can be detected about the structure, and no windows or other openings can be seen on the bunker.

"Absent" heads towards the bunker and phases through its walls, or the ground, to get inside.

"Absent" discovers a small area which can best be described as a living room. Two comfortable chairs and one couch sit about the room while a large computer screen is embedded in a wall. The screen is off, offering only a black screen for "Absent" to spy. At the back of the room, a few large crates can be seen placed against the wall. A few smaller boxes can also be seen sitting nearby. There does not appear to be anyone else in the room.

This looks like a great place for nap! Wait, no, focus, focus. You're here on a mission to fulfill the napping fee. Then you can come back and nap here! Yeah!
"Absent" goes over to the computer after his small search and tries to see if he can turn it on.
