The village home of several Ta-Matoran near the edge of the Waste Lands. The village itself is built on both sides of a lava river, which has been relatively calm and save so far.
Su-Matoran Guardsmen enter the Koro, asking to see the turaga.
"What are you here for?!" shouts Turaga Kihndial, kind of hobbling on his forearm crutch-swords.
"The Matoran alliance." The commander responded. "Koros and Metrus around the world united as one force. When one is in trouble, the others assist them."

"Hm, that is noble, but this world is huge."
He bobbed his head, acknowledging the validity of the Ta-matoran's statement. "Many problems at once can be difficult, that is why we accept refusal. Even so, we can help the Ta-Koro Guard out with a squad of droids Xia helped us build, if you required them."
A matoran wearing a Matatu spoke up. "One other thing; There was a virus not long ago that transformed Bara Magnans into mindless elementals. We have developed a counter virus to return them to their natural mental state. Have any living fires been bothering you lately?"
Thinking was something that came naturally to the armored being, as he was a philosopher as much as he was a warrior. And since taking an oath of silence, his thoughts were his only companions.
However, as of lately, the armored being's thoughts were become less and less coherent. His mind was once a still lake, a perfect ecosystem of understanding, a beautiful oasis of serenity and calm. However, the winds of confusion, anger, hopelessness, and grief had disrupted this lake recently. When his home had disappeared.
The being's thoughts became increasingly more chaotic. Had he been cast out from Aluxa? Had he broken one of its guiding laws? Had Aluxa fallen to some invisible force that had simply passed him over?
Had Aluxa never existed in the first place?
Thoughts like these dominated his mind the first few weeks of his wanderings, but after that, they began to give way to simpler thoughts of Food, Shelter, Survival. The being took great solace in this return to a semblance of normalcy, of balance, and did as he had always done. He kept moving forward.
Now, however, the being had finally happened upon some form of civilization, and the more chaotic thoughts had returned. The being silenced them with a strength that months of wandering had returned to him, not the enlightened strength he had found in Aluxa, but a more primal form of stoicism granted by the simplicity and necessity of survival.
He would live by the codes and oaths he swore in Aluxa. He would live as though Aluxa lived as well, inside of him.
And in time, if fate willed it, he would find Aluxa. Whether he would find it on the outside or the inside mattered not. He would find it.
Resolved in this task, the being made his way towards the Koro, attempting to remove some of the dust from his formerly ornate armor as he went. Just as some of the dust that had settled on his mind and soul fell away as well.

The Turaga almost growls and lifts up his right crutch-sword in a surprisingly quick, threatening swing fashion, cutting off the Guard's words after saying, "refusal." He leans a bit more on the left crutch-sword, but his posture would suggest that he is very experienced in fighting this way, knowing how to throw his momentum and strength into the swing without losing balance. Though the swing obviously stops short and is more to make a point than harm.
"I did not refuse," Turaga Kihndial states, there is some small, old fiery strength and rage to his words. "I was stating an issue with the terms. The world is too large for us to go and help every brother and sister, it would cost us much. We will join, but only to help those near by."

"..." The commander seemed rather on edge, supprised at what just happened. "...your help is appreciated. Would you mind if we helped set up a few defences, or maybe left some War droids for your use?"
The scientist held back a smile, but said nothing.

"Sure, you can set up a couple of defenses....." He brings down his blade and points to a random Matoran. "My captain will help you."

"Thank you. A Hau-Repeller shield will be set up, and we will give you a batch of War Vahki as well as instant communication."
"Um," The scientist interjected. "You know the agori and glatorian, and how they probably disappeared in a blaze of fire? They're element lords now, but they have rahi-like mentalities. I carry a virus that can help calm them down by fixing their minds. You don't happen to know where any living flames are, do you?"
The armored being approaches the gates to the village, and stops. It had just struck him that these villagers may view him as a threat, and that he couldn't tell them otherwise without breaking his oath of silence.
The being stood at the gates, thinking. He finally settled on simply walking in with his hands raised, palms forward. Hopefully the Matoran would take this as, "I'm unarmed." This was of course a complete lie. The being was never unarmed while he had his warplate, but he had no intention of harming anyone inside this Koro.
The matter settled, for him at least, the armored being walked into the village with his arms up.

"No, I have not heard of this. We offered them to come with us and join our Koro, but they left for the big city when it was being built. Though we normally don't venture far from the Koro, so we haven't seen any of these living flames."

"Alright. Kugii, you can teleport your stuff now."
The commander frowned, then called in the Hau-Repeller generator and other supplies. "We can teach you how to best use these defences. ...you'll probably catch on faster then most."

"Then we better not waste any time and learn."
It was almost as if the turaga spoke things into existence, for the matoran immediately got to work teaching the natives how to operate the shields, use the communication hut, and reprogram the War Maxilos and Vahki when necessary.

A toa of water with 3 gahlok, 6 kohrok, 2 pahrak and a nuhvok following her approaches. Her face bears a Krana. "There are no bahrag. Alternative: Take command. Alternative suitable."
