Ticeli and Kogaru arrive at the outskirts of the city, looking at the ruin in wonder.
"Do you think anyone is still here?" Kogaru asks excitedly.
"If we're lucky everyone is gone. But it's better to be safe." Ticeli stops, drawing his crossbow and a quiver full of bolts from the back. He swings the pack over his shoulders, attaching the quiver at his waste and cradling the bow in his hands. Kogaru prepares similarly, sliding his shield onto one shoulder and using his spear as a walking staff in the other hand.
"Let's go." The two approach the gateway, moving slowly and taking care to pay attention to as much as they can.

The two now stand inside the gateway, looking into the city beyond.
Kogaru shivers. "Spooky. Seems like nobody's been here in a while." Ticeli murmurs in quiet agreement, and the two continue into the city.
Kalnac takes a few steps back. "Hello. May I ask who you are and why you have come to this potentially dangerous place?"
"I'm Kogaru and this is Ticeli, we're here for-"
"Reasons," Ticeli snaps, his aim following Kalnac.
" What a coincidence! I too, am here for reasons! Well, unless we feel like confiding the exact nature of our raisins, I will be off." Kalnac turns and walks away.

"Bye!" Kogaru calls before Ticeli clamps a hand over his mouth.
"Why do we keep running into these people," Ticeli mutters.

Kalnac continues wandering the city and mutters to himself "Brave villagers. Usually they are scared of large clawed beings."
