The ground giving away is akin to missing a step walking up or down the stairs, falling swiftly with little time to realize what's happening. It is not something one would just casually notice, it's a panic reaction at best. Regardless, the Hero Agori dives to his right, avoiding the warhammer as it flies past him.
Assuming the Agori's weapons are metal he magnetizes it to the ground and flings himself towards the Agori with magnetism.
The Agori has no metal weapons. As the Toa flies towards the Hero Agori, he thrusts his torch into the Toa, giving to minor burns and sending him back towards the traps. Though strangely the room grows dark.
The mask does not come, nor do the bodies move. Before much else can happen really, the room suddenly grows dark and it feels as though the building itself is shutting down. The beast looks towards the door.
"What?!"
"Someone killed him!"
"The mask has been taken!"
"But who?"
"Quick, kill this freak and let's get that mask!"
In the moment of distraction the Iron Soldier reaches out with his elemental power and pulls the being apart with it while at the same time using one hand to pull the mask towards him still using his elemental power.
He swiftly places the mask on his face to reverse the effect.
The old beast dies from it, the suffering has finally ended for him. But for the Iron Soldier? It has just begun as the Mask of Destruction cannot reverse what it does, only further destruction. But what it does due is start to mutate the Iron Soldier into some new monster upon putting on the mask.

The Iron Soldier grabs his ancient com link and sends out an S.O.S.
He then gets up. He is not made of organics anymore and he can fix this. He uses his powers of Iron and lifts the dead corpses into the air. He is surrounded by a flurry of parts as he rebuilds himself using the parts of the dead Iron Soldiers. He decides to use his Iron power to it's fullest by taking out the power cores out of the Nui blasters and attaching them bandolier fashion. After rebuilding himself he drops to the ground and looks for a door after picking up his Faxon.

A Binarian Ghost flies near the tower, having picked up an S.O.S
The air bunched up around her, exploding outwards and leaving behind a vacuum. When the shockwave hit the breathless mass of bodies, it flew apart. Leka leapt from her stance and took to surveying the nightmare from the sky.
They slow start to climb on top of each other to form a large tower to grab Leka. Though from what she can see below, the way to the next challenge is not somewhere down there.
The hero continued her flight over the towering bodies, looking every which way not for the exit, but for true signs of life.
Eric briefly looks around to see if a door would appear, and if it he would take out his sycthe blade and kill Ziff as painlessly and quickly as possible.
Once Ziff is killed, his body falls into a pit that appears and closes before the Matoran can see what was below. Natural light bursts into the room as the final door opens, the exit back into the real world. Before Eric starts to leave or do further searching, part of the light is blotted. Some figure was standing in front of the doorway.
"You past all the trials! Good job!" The surprisingly friendly and joyful sounding figure says as he approaches. When he comes down from the blinding light, the figure doesn't look recognizable to the Matoran. Though based on his general design, he was clearly some Toa, albeit a strange one.
"Sorry for my late arrival and sadly I don't have a prize at the moment. So all I can offer is that you stay and help me run the trials, or you can leave and go back to the world at large. It's your choice, I won't sway you either way."
He gives a welcoming smile, waiting for an answer. Though he might not get an answer as he is unexpectedly sent tumbling forward, rolling several times as his armor sparks against the stone floor. With his mask glowing, the Toa stops and corrects his uncontrolled movement, standing back up in a defensive stance, shield out first. He is clearly confused, which only grows even more as another Toa, also unknown to Eric, comes swiftly flying in through the light.
"Tredixs, you aren't supposed to enter this way! That's cheating!"
The prototype Toa doesn't land as so much as drop onto the ground, looking ready for a fight. "Such a great way to greet your Champion of Justice. Maybe next time I'll rip this entire complex out of the ground."
"You no longer deserve that mask it seems. Or rather, you have yet to receive it."
Tredixs ignores the later half. "Neither do you Podarius. Did you think your actions would go unnoticed? That you could just go about changing the world without a care?"
"Without care? Without care?! You've seen this world Tredixs! This is not how it was supposed to be! You know none of this is how it was supposed to be! They were clearly not ready, so they will go back. It's time to restart again."
Tredixs walks closer as he says this,"They have made their choice, let them live with it."
"And they even broke time to try and keep it that way. Amazing how we had dozens of Toa of Time and time travelers, but only a small group of self-righteous fools, without time power, claiming they were the rightful saviors who broke time. They even tried to kill Destiny and if we don't go back, the reborn Destiny will not let anyone escape."
"What are you even talking about? Destiny can't die, it can't be reborn, it's a faith not--"
"Must go back, must start again. They are coming, a new Destiny is coming. I have seen the new future, this is not what it was supposed to be. Go back, start over, get on the proper track again...." Podarius continues to ramble on this madness as a console forms in the room and he starts pressing buttons. "Destral is almost in its proper place, Inharax is here. The process to begin is so close, we can start again. We can save the universe, we can make sure they are truly ready for the old Destiny this time. I can--ugh!"
Podarius snaps back to reality, clutching his chest were a large chunk of ice has been lodged. The console vanishes as he looks back at Tredixs, falling onto his knees as his life slowly gave way. The old Toa of Power was clearly confused in his final moments. His mask is torn from his face and floats over to Tredixs and does what's left of his life, going into Tredixs' strange, and now red glowing, mask. The Tower grows dark and cold, everything slows down to a halt within.
"I'm sorry, but I can't have you risk breaking reality even more, we've done it enough. Thanks for the mask though, I'll put it to good use."
Eric silenty watched this interaction, confused by the two strange Toa, and even more so when they started arguing about Time and Destiny. He had no idea what they’re were talking about, and wasn’t entirely sure he wanted to know either.
This was before the Podarius’ death.
Eric recoiled when Tredix killed the rambling Podarius. He didn’t have much interactiom with Toa, but it was common knowledge hey didn’t kill. This was obviously a Toa who had lost his way, and Eric didn’t know if he could trust the Toa to not attack him. Just in case, he mentally takes stock of the weapons he had. He ended up with the conclusion that all that remained was just a couple more shards of his sword and the blade to his scythe, which still had a small bit of staff that could work like a makeshift handle. It most likely wouldn't amount to much if it came down to a fight, especially when considering the injuries he had recieved while fighting Ziff and Tredix’s elemental powers. Seeing no other way out, he internally sighed, and waved to gain Tredix’s attention. “Hello....”

The signal fails to go out and it matters not if he has organics, he still mutates. Adding more bodies only makes the transformation more hideous and worse, splitting his mind up more and more, trying him insane.

He turns towards the Matoran while causally sending a bolt of lightning from his hand into Podarius's corpse, incinerating it instantly.
"Yes, I know you're here. I was expecting someone else to be here, you were not supposed to see this. Still, it's impressive that you completed all the trials, you're the sixth person I know who has done so and a Matoran no less."

Eric watches the lightning incinerate the corpse for a brief second, before looking at Tredix. “So how does it work, now that I’ve passed?” While speaking he subtlety checks the source of light in the room, and how the shadows are cast. It’s better to be prepared.

"I have evil and a Brotherhood to end, so I will be leaving."
”Ok. I suppose I’ll stay and run it then.” Eric responded, attempting to subtley end the discussion. He realizes he at the very least should ask where the controls were, but it is probably safer if Tredixs left now rather than later. Wouldn’t want to end up like the last overseer of the tower.

"Good luck with the responsibility, it is a heavy one."
With that, Tredixs flies on out and the door closes behind him.

The hero continued her flight over the towering bodies, looking every which way not for the exit, but for true signs of life.
She only finds the dead.
"Can anyone hear me?!" Her voice was amplified as she cried out. It was less of a question for someone out there, and more of question she asked herself. Leka closed her eyes and took in a deep breath, then let it out.

Eric breathes a sigh of relief, and walks over to the summoned console, looking it over for some sort of power button. It was commom knowledge that if some technology went wrong, turning it off then on was the way to fix it. The process was halfway completed, Eric just had to find the On switch.
