Eric looks at the pedestal with wary surprise. After a second he would walk over and read the important parts of the manual, skimming the more technical stuff, and skipping the legal section.
Luckily there is no legal section as no-one can sue you anyways. The important thing to note is that the Tower does have a small device Eric can carry on his person that will alert him for a new person entering the Tower and when one finishes all the trials. In combination with the system, Eric could theoretically quickly assign the challenges the challenger would face and in what order straight from the beginning and just leave it be. Though without him being there, it would not give hints or change the intensity of the challenges, nor inform him of the challenger being stuck or perhaps having died. He would have to be here for such things.
Eric has the Tower summon the device, and has the Tower also summon a strap for it. Small has a significantly different definition for a matoran compared to a toa. Now that was dealt with, the problem was the moderation of the Tower. It occured to him that he could’ve still been stuck in the endless shadow if it weren’t for the hint that was projected into his mind, and it seemed obvious that there needed to be someone to stay and run the Tower, as it didn’t possess the intelligence to run it itself. But Eric didn’t want to stay here forever, as he still had most of this world to explore. He had left his previous prison of Shanty Town to explore the world, and now it seemed like he had trapped himself again.
Then a thought occured to him. The Tower doesn’t have the intellignece to run itself now, but he could easily have it make something that contains that intelligence. It can’t be a truely living thing though, those things would get rebellious after a while and leave the tower or turn on him. A robot would work, however it would need to have the ability to learn from it’s past mistakes, otherwise it would continue to make the same mistakes until he eventually came and corrected it. It would also need to be able to defend itself, although with the powers of the Tower that wouldn’t be a problem. Loyalty would be simple enough to include, but Eric made a note to include that first.
Eric would then continued to mentally list requirements, having the tower bring in a screen when he couldn’t remember all of them perfectly in his head. After a while, he would explain it to the Tower, describing how he wanted it to turn out to the best of his ability. Upon finishing, he would wait a second while the Tower processed the information, and created the robot accordingly.
It was about the hieght of Eric, red and grey except for it’s brown head, where a single red eye slid in it’s slot. It moved jerkily at first, but eventually it’s gait smoothed out as it learned to walk while approaching the control console. It then occurred to Eric, he had never stated it knew the Tower’s controls. “Wait wait wait wait!” He commanded the robot, but then realized he had neglected to give it a name. Luckily the robot stopped instead of continuing on, and Eric was able to address it. “Ok, two things. First, your name is H.U.M.A.N.” He said, correcting his error. “Secondly, you need to understand how to control the Tower.” He hands over the manual, which it starts to slowly read.
Her body adapted to the hazardous environment, vibrating at a frequency to free herself from every grasp, similar to a stage 1 sonics kraata. Perhaps with futility, she asked the corpses a question. "Can you tell me what happened here?"

The light flickers back as motion returns to normal. There are bolts of lightning bouncing all around in the room.
Bahkrionix attempts to unleash a flurry of pseudo-lightning from his finger-tips, absorbing the energy from the bolts at a touch.
The walls of the room nearest the bolt move inwards once the energy is absorbed, shrinkkg the overall size of the room. Upon closer observation, wherever there was lightning the walls shrank away, and vice versa.

The darkness flickers as the light returns and things start to run normal again. The ice open and so does the door, now allowing Eviice to pass through it.

Upon seeing this, he tests firing lightning from his fingertips at these areas to see if they expand.

The lightning cast by him seems to have no affect, hitting the wall and being dully absorbed. The preexisting lightning seems to be the only thing that the walls fear, and what’s left of it seems to currently be centered around the door and Bahkrionix.
He stops for a moment, the foreign word confusing him. Still, he does not stop for long, going through the right door.
Aerocide finds himself in a stone valley where many statues of varying stages of completion stood, each surrounded by abandoned protodermis tools. Not too far away, a strange lizard with diseased scales and mad red eyes sat, consuming a great many tools. If Aerocide had any knowledge of the fauna in the GSR, he would likely recognize this as a diseased Tunneler. This however seems to not be the case, much to his misfortune.

Eric stays and supervises H.U.M.A.N. for a time, correcting and advising him the best he could. Once content with how the Tower was operated, he walks off to another section of the room to bring up console. He summons some healing kanoka, which he uses to heal his wounds recieved in the tower, creates a new sword and shield, and read up on what little outdated information the Tower had on the current events of the world. He then runs some tests with the new equipment he got, making sure it can properly communicate with the Tower and H.U.M.A.N. Faulty equipment could be the deciding factor between life and death. He then gives H.U.M.A.N. a to-do list, considering what he has seen and read since leaving Shanty Town.
Jammers Myself
Before departing, Eric verbally gives H.U.M.A.N. a list of commands. “First, keep track of Tredix. He’s a Toa of some sorts, and I believe he may become a threat later if left unchecked.” Eric recalled Podarius’ death. Even though it seemed to not be directly related to the Tower, it’s better to be safe than dead. “Secondly, begin monitoring what is happening in the world. The current database feels incomplete. Thirdly, check up on Shanty Town.” Eric says, reflecting on his temporary hometown. He may not have especially liked it there, but he felt slightly indebted to it. He had lived a mostly peaceful life there, which is hard for a Kra Matoran. He finishes with one final command, “place the Tower at the highest priority however, everything else can wait for a bit.”
H.U.M.A.N. acknowledges this, and begins construction of a surveillance system, consisting of many small drones with stealth technology
Eric departs, leaving H.U.M.A.N. with the Tower and heading off to see more of the world through his own eyes.
