Long ago in the Matoran Universe, Makuta Xarax attacked an unknown vast island, slaughtering everyone that lived there and razed what was left to scattered ashes. He claimed this worthless land as his own personal, no-man's land, battlefield to fight whoever he brought. Or whoever wished to fight here as to not damage their own fortresses as long as they didn't mind Xarax joining in on the fight as well. This was the site of a large battle between the Federation of Fear, Order of the Vahki, and Brotherhood of Makuta against the Order of Mata Nui and the Toa. The battle was intense and some of its tales still remain in taught history, but this battlefield has hardly used afterwards. Fallen into obscurity and irrelevance as the wars for the Universe became serious.
This is why, perhaps, it is so confusing that this battlefield has returned. A sign placed out in the middle of no-man's land Fe-Vo-Fa Wahi declaring a decent sized portion of it is Makuta Xarax's territory. Not only that, but destroyed Vahki, weapons, tools, bits and pieces of armor, and so on litter the ground as if it was the genuine war zone. However, there is a noticeable difference between this Battlefield and the one told in history. For one, it is far larger and stretches to places that don't line up with historical maps, containing the Headquarters of Fear, Drifter's Enforcement, Fort Metru, and Zetanu all within its boarders.
Unlike many of the other off locations of the past, this one is not protected by a magnetic shield. Though the storms are less frequent here.
