Okay here it is.
What do these weird people do when they're not battling gods and monsters?

“No one ever stood atop the heavens before. Not you, or I, or even the gods. But the unbearable vacancy of heavens throne ends now. From now on, I alone will stand at the top.”
What do these weird people do when they're not battling gods and monsters?
IC: "You really need to ask? Being a Toa is a full-time job. Even when there isn't some demon trying to kill everyone, there are still people to help." Lync adopts a, uh, 'sassy' pose.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Skakdi and Vortixx, I present to you the only idealist left on this forsaken rock." Ticeli waves his hand, mock bowing.
Obviously, Sylah and Shadus spend their time staring at each other and wondering what to say when they don't have their romantic scripts in front of them. They never, ever, ever talk about sand and how rough it is, and how it's coarse and gets everywhere.
Rahzahkea stands on tall buildings in the dark, which is ruined because the Starblade is glowing all the time. He also buys bulk lots of Three-Virtues capes from Toa-Mart in the case he goes nova and vaporizes them.
The Wrathbringer consumes everything it touches. No comic relief allowed
AEGIS looks warily at the SCP-verse. And that Lizard.
And storms always come. Weather them or surrender. They will always come.
"We're Toa. Nature is our weapon." - Rahzahkea
"You. No matter what spell you were under, this was your doing. Remember that". - K̞͍̗͚̘a̶g̰̥e̳̦̞̝̻̕

Rahzahkea edgily appears behind them, with a huge bag, and a giant string of lightbulbs.
"Idealism will get you killllllled. Or broken. Idealists can't live in this world. I mean look at me, I was a stable, rational person and now I'm carting this around."
"Also, cape anyone? I made a run to Toa Mart the other day and they had a sale on Unity-Duty-Destiny capes all in red."

OOC: I'm serious, show what your guys would do in day to day life.
Toa Vashari was sitting in a New Order church, starring at the back wall. Enjoying the quiet, empty room.
“No one ever stood atop the heavens before. Not you, or I, or even the gods. But the unbearable vacancy of heavens throne ends now. From now on, I alone will stand at the top.”

"Do they sell it in Green or yellow? Red TOTALLY clashes with my armor!" Sevair stands by a corner waiting for some smoothies to come around.
OOC: OOOOOOOH I see. I'm gonna embellish a bit, so no suing Glace
IC: Imperial Toa Rahzahkea enters the church, and moves until he stands in the front section of the church, staring at the small altar in front of the room. He looks up at the ceiling, fingers folded and silent.
After a long time, he speaks, words quiet but clearly audible in the near-silent atmosphere of the Church.
"....peace."
Rahzahkea laughs, softly, and winces. He clutches his armor and looks at the altar, and then upward. A faint smile creeps across his weathered Kanohi. It grows, until the Toa is grinning broadly.
"...I've-we've spent so much time fighting for peace. For order. And it's...it's almost surreal...when we finally have it."
He clasps his hands, like a New Order acolyte in prayer, and gazes at the altar, and the small figure of Mata Nui engraved over it. "It's almost unnatural. But in a good way, no? Peace."

IC: Rahzahkea pauses, and shrugs, hands still clasped. "No one...myself I suppose." He looks up again at the altar and closes his eyes. The Toa seems to be focusing quite intensely, as he mutters softly to himself.
"Peace is Order and Order is Peace. Chaos be cursed and cast into the Pit of Karzahni for all eternity. Amen."

The Wastes Lync sighs, putting down her borrowed telescope. They were getting closer. 'They' were a group of Bone Hunters, somehow still going after so much change. The appearance of old and simpler enemies would be refreshing, if they weren't planning on ransacking the village she was currently a guardian of. The sole guardian of, that was.
The setting was familiar to her by now. There were so many villages out here, all threatened by some group of raiders or another. The Toa of Air had gathered quite a reputation travelling between them, helping as much as she could before moving on to the next village. Some called her a savior. That boiled her blood more than anything any bandit or miscreant could do. There should be others out here. The people shouldn't be accustomed to being defenseless. They shouldn't treat a single Toa like a miracle. I am not a miracle!
A sharp noise cuts into her thoughts. She looks down, noticing her clenched fists and the telescope held between them. She gingerly holds it up to her mask, peeking through. The lens on the far end is cracked, breaking up the world on the other side into fragments and shards of incoherent light. The fragmented kaleidoscope is mesmerizing, a natural and unintended form of art. One filled with a bit too much black, unfortunately. Lync sighs, putting the now broken spyglass in her bag. She'd have to get the villagers a new one. And there was one place she could think of that would have one.
Smiling at the irony, the Toa of Air spreads her wings and springs from her perch. It was time to have a chat with some old friends.
Amen."
"Life's chaotic. It's nature." Vashari said, stretching in his seat.

IC: Rahzahkea shrugged and nodded grudgingly. His grin had faded now. "You...you are correct. But we are Toa. Nature is our weapon. Or more aptly, a tool to combat life itself, to hack and carve a world we can function in, a world where the Matori need not be sacrificed for any mad devil scheme." The Toa frowns and breaks his pose, putting a finger to his chin as if in deep contemplation. He seems troubled.

"Put the weapon down!" Kolyra glares at the "Glatorian," cornered in this alley, holding a Cordak gun like a shotgun. He shakes his head. Kolyra growls again, her axe pointed at him. "Put it down.
NOW."
The loud BANG denotes the Cordak's launching. Simultaneously, a stream of ice shoots from Kolyra's axe. She stares emotionlessly at the stream as she maintains it for a whole five seconds. The Cordak rounds, one by one, clink against her axe or her armor and clatter harmlessly to the ground. As the stream dies, the Glatorian, frozen cold to the point that he can barely breathe, is left helpless as the Toa move to seize him, take him to their base, and brainwash him. Kolyra watches with a heart colder than the Glatorian's frozen armor. He had refused to do his duty, and that meant he was fleeing his destiny.
Nekra Corp. Facility - The Wastes "Don't you think, Pheore?" Pheore's eyes snap back into focus. It's subtle; not something most people see. It still feels like cheating, maybe even more so because she never gets caught.
"Yes, sir." She has no idea what Malvo was talking about. It rarely matters. If he wanted a debate, he would talk with Syreio. Which he appeared to be doing.
"Pheore's a warrior, not a scientist," the Vortixx hedges. "No offense, ma'am." Pheore's shoulders twitch in a shrug. "But a warrior's mind is different than a scholar's. Honed for different things." Syreio continues the debate. Pheore continues to not care. It feels like a betrayal. What's worse, she's not sure she cares anymore. Once upon a time, the words of superiors had been doctrine. They were priests and she their most zealous disciple. That was how one survived, after all. Follow orders to the letter. Do as you were told. Not a sycophant; a soldier. Obedience mixed with competence. A dash of independence thrown in. Temper with rationality and reliability. Serve at all times.
And Pheore had done it. She had survived, fought loyally and fruitfully for Vulcanus while others suffered and died. She had long since given up on Lync's idealism and Kiina's ramblings of another world. There were only two ways out: as a failure the likes of those slaughtered by the Skrall in Atero, or an aged trophy too beloved to be thrown away, such as Ackar. Pheore had been determined to achieve the latter, among other things.
It almost seemed like a dream. Or a nightmare. Lync, well, Lync was right. A better world came. As things were going now, she would be tacking 'and went' to the end of that soon enough. But here she was, in an age where she could do almost anything. Where she had a stable job and a less than daily threat of dying. This is what her obedience had bought her. This is what she wanted.
Right?
