IC: Petram covered Tuhi’s eyes like a parent would for a child. Not that Tuhi wasn’t thousands of years old, but even the Toa of Stone was irked by this. He turned to Sylah, mouth agape. “Do you remember when Rolvik blew up the city?”

"Of course....why?"
IC: Petram holds a shaking finger, pointing at Hanah. “They were going EASY on us. We could’ve all been murdered like that whip person.” He covers his eyes for a moment. “...I pulled her head off. She could’ve punched my Karzin’ chest in...”

IC: Pheore notes this silently.
Meanwhile in the other stand, Roa Usit took care of her injured sister Grorratt, looking angrily at Telovin for putting her in that situation.

"Petram, I could have punched your chest in. You only see how "powerful" she is. Why bother with something as ephemeral as that?
She exhales heavily, looking intently at Hanah. Her eyes are distant, as if the whole of her being is focused on the other Toa. "Look at her. Consumed by anger, ruled by it, taking such happiness from that other...uh..creature's suffering. Power is a dime a dozen. Malice?"
Sylah smiles. "That's far more special."

Part 9
Torok sent his old friend Vashari to cut off another one of Telovins alien freaks.
”Brother Torok, are you sure it's wise to send him in so soon?” Kaliva asked. ”With all do respect.”
”He’ll do fine against any of them, but lets keep the fear going in Telovin.” Was all Torok said as he sent Vashari forward.
”He thinks he has me scared. Well, let's see how his champion fairs against overwhelming speed.” Telovin spat bitterly.
Finally it was Vasharis turn. He jumped in place a couple of times, just light hops, nothing too strenuous. Then he lightly jogged to the next tile. He took a few steps in, and the tile transformed. The temperature dropped significantly as the snow fell from the sky. A sheet of ice grew out of the ground, covering the stone. Vashari was now standing on a Glacier.
”Cold. This might be a problem.” Vashari said to himself.
Akaline arrived over the tile. ”We are now entering our sixth match!” He announced.
”Huh?” Vashari couldn't see his opponent, either by sight or sound.
”The Cursed Warrior, Toa Vashari, versus the Speedster Au’nnet! Ready? Fight!” Akaline finished.
”Speedster?” Vashari asked. ”Ah!” Not even a second later he felt something brush by him, leaving a three-pronged scratch on his Mask. ”Blast it....” Then another scratch was clawed on his arm, then another on his leg, then a third raked across his chest. And finally, his cloak was cut off just over a third.
As the heavy fabric hit the frozen ground a figure appeared before him. He was a head shorter than Vashari, and covered head to toe in green fur. He had feline features, with long pointed ears on the top of his head, long whiskers, and striking green eyes. Au’nnet was some kind of cat person. He wore red leather-like clothes that were likely to reduce friction. Vashari also noticed that he had long, sharp claws.
Unsure of what to say, Vashari went with. ”You're fast.”
”You are slow,” Au’nnet said in his alien accent. ”All Au’nnets kind move fast, but Au’nnet is fastest.”
”Yeah, but how strong are you? You're going to need a lot more than speed of beat me.” Vashari moved into his Kame stance. One of the three styles of martial arts he knew, the Kame style was meant for defense. He knew he couldn't just go rushing at Au’nnet, he had to wait for the cat to come to him.
”We shall see.” Au’nnet said before disappearing in a blur of motion. Vashari went still and concentrated, expanding his field of view through his Mask. His Arthron was a gift, which he mastered through years of training. It was more his eyes than his eyes were. But it still couldn't completely track Au’nnet.
Through his dome of vision, all Vashari could see was a quick blur coming at him. Before he could react another scratch appeared on his arm and chest. Vashari didn't move a muscle as he felt another strike from Au’nnets claws. As the seconds rolled by, Au’nnet scored four dozen hits, tearing through Vasharis armor. Vashari noticed that the claws couldn't cut through his Marender armor, but they could cut through his natural Toa armor. For a moment he wished he was a Nuva like his wife, but then things would be too easy.
”Okay.” Vashari finally said, which made Au’nnet stop.
”Do you surrender to Au’nnet yet?” The cat man said arrogantly.
”No, I just figured how to beat you.”
”Oh really?” Au’nnet said still arrogant.
”I had an idea a while back. To my kind I'm known as a Toa. We're strong, but we have limits. My wife Hanah is known as a Toa Nuva, which makes her superior to me in every way, so I have to work harder than anyone else. And sure, I've long since broken through the limits of my kind, but I can still only do so much. So I had to come up with a way break my limits again. I didn't think I’d have to use it this soon, but you're just too fast.” Vashari explained.
”What is this you mean?” Au’nnet asked confused.
”I have to force myself to become faster than you!” Suddenly Vasharis body erupted in heat, melting a clearing in the ice and snow of the Glacier around him. The snow burned into a veil of steam all around them as Vashari started to shout as his muscles bulged and his armor expanded. Au’nnet stood horrified in place as the heat became overwhelming, and his opponent's body begun to glow bright red.
”What is he doing!?!” Rolvik asked in the stands, having never seen this before.
”Can his body even handle this?” Kaliva asked in surprise.
Torok grinned. ”We shall see, sister.”
And Takua just sat in silent awe.
There was an explosion of heat and power, a shockwave that knocked Au’nnet over. Finally, the bright red light that had covered Vashari faded until he was visible. Vashari stood, his body shining bright red just like his energy attacks, with steam rolling off of him.
”What is this?” Au’nnet said as he pulled himself to his feet again.
Then Vashari disappeared from his vision, only to appear just barely an inch to his right. His hand was suddenly grabbing Au’nnets face and the cat man was thrown down, crashing to the tile. When Vasharis hand moved away from Au’nnets face, he disappeared, running a in a circle around the Toa.
Au’nnets claws sped towards the back of Vasharis head, but he was stopped short as his feline face crashed into Vasharis foot. The impact sent a shockwave throughout is body stunning him. In that instant, Au’nnet knew that Vashari was much, much stronger than him, and now he was as fast if not faster than him.
Vashari lowered his leg and in the say motion he turned planting his other foot into Au’nnets stomach. The impact was tremendous, Au’nnet made a sound of nearly silent pain. Then Vashari grabbed him from behind, flipped him over his head, and grabbed his arm.
As the shining redness faded, Vashari applied pressure to Au’nnets arm. ”Surrender. You can't beat me.” Vashari said, his breath slightly heavily.
Au’nnet was stubborn at first, trying to hold on. But eventually the pressure became too much, his arm would snap at any moment. ”Au’nnet forfeits!” He finally said.
”And we have a winner!” Akaline announced. ”Toa Vashari wins by Surrender!”
Vashari released Au’nnets arm and then helped the cat man to his feet. ”You're not bad, but you still need work. I'd like to fight you again when you improve.” He told him.
”What was that you used?” Au’nnet asked again.
”I call it the Burning Blood,” Vashari answered. ”As I said before, I'm what's called a Toa. We can control and conjure the Elements. I have power over Fire. It took a lot of work, but I discovered that I can use my power over Fire to heat up my insides. I essentially kick my body into overdrive. It doubles my strength and speed, but it's incredibly dangerous. If I'm not careful I could boil my insides, and die painfully. I can only use it in short bursts.”
”That sounds to Au’nnet, insane.”
Vashari shrugged. ”Maybe a little. I actually came up with it to battle one of my teammates, Maximus. He's extremely strong and powerful.”
Au’nnet looked at him curiously. ”Do you really wish to battle Au’nnet again?”
”I’d like the chance to fight everyone on your team, but only if you improve. Never Stop Improving.” Vashari said. ”I have to keep going.”
”Never Stop Improving?” Au’nnet asked.
”Never Stop Improving,” Vashari said as he held out his fist.
”Never Stop Improving.” Au’nnet said more surely as he touched his own fist to Vashsris.
”I hope to see you again.” Vashari finished as Au’nnet was teleported to Telovins side of the stands.
“No one ever stood atop the heavens before. Not you, or I, or even the gods. But the unbearable vacancy of heavens throne ends now. From now on, I alone will stand at the top.”

Part 10
Telovin was really angry now. ”You surrendered! How could you surrender, you worthless feline!” He berated Au’nnet.
”Au’nnet apologizes,” Au’nnet said in a mock shameful bow. ”The enemy was too strong.”
”Please my lord,” Alliara said calmly. ”The Game is far from over, you must focus on what's ahead.”
”Don't tell what to do! You, you!” Telovin sat back down pouting. ”Fine then.” His face curled into a cruel smile. ”We still have Hiroto.”
”But my lord,” Alliara started but Telovin cut her off.
”I don't want to hear it. Hiroto, is my ace. No one can beat him.” Telovin put his hand to his hologram, and moved Hiroto forward. ”Its time he earned his pay.”
Across the way Torok sat curious. Telovin hadn't moved the alien named Hiroto at all, but he chose to do so now. Sure this alien had the Great Kanohi Vahi, but he was not one of their kind, he shouldn't be able to use it. Unless he could to some degree.
”What are you thinking, Brother?” Kaliva asked him when she saw his curious expression.
”I've decided to be cautious with this Hiroto character. I'm sending someone especially strong to meet him.”
”Solorok?”
”No. I want to see what he's capable of. I don't want to destroy him.” He looked carefully at the game board on his hologram. ”I think he'll do.” Torok chose the Demon, Maximus and begun to send him on a collision course with Hiroto.
It took nine turns, but eventually Maximus and Hiroto stood one tile away from each other. Maximus didn't like taking orders, even from a god-like being, but he had to admit he was having fun, and after seeing Vasharis new technique he was excited more than ever to fight him.
Maximus was once again chosen to move forward to the next tile and once he did it begun to freeze. Telovin chose the Glacier field again for some reason. The cold didn't bother Maximus in the slightest, in fact it reminded him of her.
”Kilyubatra.” He sighed at the memory of the Pink, Ice Queen. Then he gave a quick chuckle, then moved his focus to the battle.
He approached slowly, walking casually his hands in his pockets and his head bowed. His blue, high collared robes billowing in the frozen wind. His sand-colored hair and gold yellow skin seemingly unaffected by the cold. The Mask covered his mouth and nose, but not his eyes showing that they were closed.
Finally, his head rose and his eyes opened, and Hiroto met Maximus, their eyes locked. They said nothing to each other as Akaline floated over.
”And in our Seventh Match, the Warrior Monk, Hiroto, meets the Demon Supreme King, Maximus! This ought to be a good one folks! Get ready! And Fight!”
”Why hello.” Maximus greeted with a bow. ”You have the honor of fighting me, Maximus! Second Supreme King of the Dark Dimension, King of the Purple Earth Clan, Destroyer of Worlds and Stars, Former Super Kami, Scourge of the Light, Rebellion of One, and Master of the Demon Arts! You're welcome!”
For a long moment, Hiroto said nothing. Then, ”You look strong.” His voice deep and strong. ”Perhaps you will provide me with the challenge I seek.”
”I did say, Destroy of Worlds and Stars, didn't I?” They went silent again as they calmly walked towards each other, stopping five feet away from each other. Maximus took his stance, the Earth Demon stance, spreading his feet and planting them firmly and raising his arms so his palms faced upward, and prepared to fight.
Everyone watched as Hiroto planted his feet and then raised his fists up much like a boxing stance. There was silence as neither one moved a muscle as the Demon and the alien Monk stared at each other.
Telovin smiled widely in anticipation. Torok stared blankly. Vashari watched from his hologram, especially interested.
Then suddenly Maximus’ arm tensed as his muscles bulged with power, then he pointed his hand at Hiroto. At only five feet away Maximus knew Hiroto would not be able to dodge it, not with Maximus’ speed.
”Demon Art: Darkness Explosion!” A massive explosion of Dark Energy exploded out in a ten-foot blast out of Maximus’ hand, shaking the tile with its sheer, raw power. Maximus grinned under his helmets mask as he knew Hiroto couldn't dodge it.
It was quiet, but as the dust faded, it revealed Hiroto. The Monk was completely unharmed, without a single scratch. He barely even had any dust on him. Maximus stared in shock. ”What! How? There is no way you could have avoided that at this range!”
”I didn't dodge it.” Was all Hiroto said.
”Wha...ah....” Suddenly Maximus doubled over in tremendous pain coming from his stomach. He dropped to one knee, gasping for breath.
”What happened!?!” Kaliva rose out of her seat in shock. ”He didn't do anything!”
”Yes.” Torok said bitterly. ”Yes he did. Only I and Telovin could perceive it. It seems I miscalculated.”
”How did you?” Maximus said panting as Hiroto stared at him. Maximus rose to his feet, making hand signs. ”Demon Art: Cutting Sprigs!” His hands hit the floor, and from the ice came the sharp wood like sprigs that grew through the ice, rapidly growing and seeking to cut it's target to shreds.
But Hiroto jumped in one great leap away from the Sprigs. And as they grew towardt him he aimed his hand at them. ”Hyah!” He shouted, and huge force of power blasted the Sprigs to pieces.
”Demon Art: Darkness Strangulation!” Maximus shouted. A dark blob formed near Hiroto until it resembled a giant octopus. It's inky tentacles reached out trying to grab hold of and strangle Hiroto.
However Hiroto aimed his hand at it, ”Hyah!”, and with another shout the octopus exploded into an inky puddle. Maximus stared angrily.
”That was a Kiai.” Vashari said as he watched in shock. ”How could he do that with a basic Kiai?”
With a dash almost as fast as Au’nnet, Hiroto closed the distance between him and Maximus again. ”Demon Art: One Thousand Arms!” Six shadowy arms appeared out of Maximus’ own. The six shadowy arms and Maximus’ own begun to punch at Hiroto in rapid succession until it appeared he had a thousand arms.
However, Hiroto swiftly and gracefully dodged them all. Lightly swaying back and forth, dodging every single punch in speeds that most couldn't follow. His expression had yet to change.
”I was wrong,” Hiroto said as he dodged. ”You are not the challenge I seek.”
Maximus growled in anger. ”Demon Art: Octo Darkness Explosion!” In an instant, Maximus’ arms stopped punching and each one unleashed an explosion of Dark Energy.
However, Hiroto appeared behind him. ”Not a challenge.” He said, ever calm.
Then suddenly, once again, Maximus dropped to his knees in tremendous pain all over his torso . Anyone else would have instantly fallen unconscious, but Maximus was too stubborn.
”You should surrender. I do not wish to inflict more pain than necessary.” Hiroto said matter of factly as he walked back around to Maximus’ front.
This filled Maximus with rage. ”Never! I will never surrender to anyone!” He quickly rose and unleashed a fury of punches and kicks in the Demon Arts martial arts style. Hiroto dodged them all easily. ”I will never relent! I would rather die!”
”Is this arrogance? Or is it pride? I sense a deep-seeded rage within you. It will not help you against me.” Hiroto said as he dodged.
Maximus roared in rage, but then he stopped short. He felt it again, the tremendous pain all across his torso. Gasping again he dropped to his knees again. This time the Demon King was unable to even lift his arms, but still he did not surrender.
Wordlessly, Maximus tried to rise again, but couldn't. Then suddenly his helmet mask shattered and with came that tremendous pain on his face. Maximus sat on his knees, unconscious, still refusing to fall over.
”It is done.” Hiroto said as put his hands back in his pockets, bowed his head, and closed his eyes again.
In shock, Akaline floated over in his platform and scanned Maximus. ”Uh... Maximus is no longer conscious.” He announced for the first time he didn't sound enthusiastic. He wasn't sure what had even happened. In fact only Telovin and Torok truly saw what was going on. ”The Warrior Monk, Hiroto is the winner.” The whole match lasted under two minutes.
The tile lit up with Telovins symbol as Maximus was teleported to Toroks side of the stands.
Takua went to the Demons side, not sure what he could do for him. Then he was joined Saliah. ”Saliah!” Varo said in surprise. ”What are you doing? Don't go near that guy!”
But she ignored him. ”Help?” She asked Takua.
He shrugged. ”I don't know what to do. He's not even close to our species.”
”He'll be fine,” Torok said without looking at them. ”Just let him sleep for a while.”
Takua looked to Saliah and he nodded at her. ”It's okay.” Saliah looked at him blankly, then nodded and went back to sit next to Varo.
In the stadium, Vashari stood his hand rapidly trembling. If he was excited to fight Hiroto before, he was ecstatic now. Even the Seal of Vashari couldn't contain the amount of excitement he was feeling.
”Torok, I have to fight that guy.”
“No one ever stood atop the heavens before. Not you, or I, or even the gods. But the unbearable vacancy of heavens throne ends now. From now on, I alone will stand at the top.”

When I'm about to get over the writer's block that's preventing me from finishing Justans match and move on to Antroz’s.

So I finally have the next match done. I won't lie, it's not my best work. I could not get past the writes block for so long. But, I have Antroz’s started, which will hopefully turn out better. I haven't given up on this, and I really want to get to big matches. Vashari vs Hiroto is constantly in my mind, and I have it started, and I can say it might not end like you'd expect.

I wrote this March 2019
Only six warriors had yet to battle, and the First Round was getting close to it's end. The First Round ended once half of the Players pieces were removed from the game board. And so far Telovin was in the lead with four victories to Toroks three. But the First Round was the least important.
Torok sent Antroz forward. Telovin responded by sending Aukneyzer. Then Torok moved Justuan towards Aukneyzer. Telovon then moved Lashah. And Torok kept Solorok where he was.
Soon Justuan and Aukneyzer entered the same tile. The black and green Skrall stared in awe as he watched the tile transform into the Jungle stage. He saw the alien approaching him, a purple-skinned being coated in some kind of teal colored jumpsuit. His face tattooed with white markings.
Akaline announced. ”In our Eighth Match we have the Skrall Warrior of Tecorn, Justuan! He faces the Elastic Man, Aukneyzer!”
”Elastic Man?” Justuan wondered.
”Ready?”
”What does that mean?”
”Fight!”
Suddenly Aukneyzers fist crashed into Justuans face from twenty feet away. After recovering, Justun saw that Aukneyzers arm was stretched across the gap between them. ”Oh, that's what that means.”
Justuan ran towards his opponent, the Elastic Man threw another punch that stretched toward him, but he dodged it and closed the gap between them. He landed a punch to the aliens head, but it's rubber-like quality softened the impact.
Aukneyzer punched him again from a distance, but this time he grabbed Justuan, pulling him towards him. His arm retracted fast, as his other arm stretched back, going out far. Together his arms retracted, simultaneously pulling Justuan in, and landing a powerful punch with his other arm.
Something in Justuan cracks with the tremendous impact. He falls to ground, seemingly defeated. Akaline floated over to get a closer look, but just then Justaun begun to rise again. It was clear Justuan was no longer able to fight, but he kept himself standing by shear Will.
And just then Aukneyzer’s first crashed into Justaun’s, flooring him again. He didn't get up a second time.
”I think we have a winner!” Akaline announced. ”Telovins team wins again!”
