Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Ching-chongk!
The massive head and staffs of a Vahki lowered on the wall, its weapons closing in on Metru Nui for the target. Anrobroid watched in quiet judgement as the device performed its work, the gears behind the structure ticking away in calculation. The wall was covered in a series of hexagonal tiles, not unlike that of the Coliseum's central arena, and formed a map of Metru Nui and the surrounding sea. Some of the tiles were raised, in part to show elevation of the land and buildings and for areas of high activity. Though they did not merely raise and lower like the arena's pillars, they could rotate and the tiles could also flip to different colors and symbols. Small crystal miniatures of various colors dotted the landscape, held onto the titles by some magnetism. These little figures glided around the map on their own as information came in, as did inscriptions and video feeds one the wall outside of the map.
He took a brief look at the Knowledge Crystal in his hands and then inserted it into a slot on the wall. With the updated information, the map begins to change and pieces scatter to rearrange. New inscriptions come and things begin to fill out more accurately. The device begins to really move now and the giant Vahki encloses on its prey just a bit more. Anrobroid studies it, seeing as even more information comes in from every Vahki that returns, as feeds from Stun Staffs and cameras add to its knowledge. All the while the giant Vahki takes everything and recalculates, finding their foes, targets to interrogate for information, and all the more to finally trap their ultimate enemy.
"Well," Anrobroid says as he turns around to the others. "It seems to be working."
Tiock fiddles with some small geared device, replying quite bored, "Our calibrations are correct, it wouldn't be turning in such fine time otherwise."
Qaef watches the wall not assured. "But it's immobile as a Ko-Matoran in a Knowledge Tower. Without continued ground work, we can't prove it to be accurate or using knowledge well."
"Yes, this is just the testing phase." Anrobroid agrees, turning back to the map and watches as it picks out particular Matoran to pressure. "But if we do have it working....."
He runs his claws over the image of Disliar. "...the Entertainment District will finally be ours. Speaking of which..."
Anrobroid turns towards a staff wielding Onu-Matoran that has now entered the room. "...I believe you have some information for us?"
Underneath that mask, the Onu-Matoran's slug smiles.
