The following are a collection of files found on a protosteel tablet. The screen is cracked, but it still works. It is teal and grey, and nothing special. There is no color, but a simple transcription of black and white words flashing on the screen.
The words are simple, but they are organized. The organizational system is odd, and the only thing that can really be made out is numbers. There are hundreds. On the back of the tablet is an emblem, that of the Brotherhood of the Makuta.
History: Using the only [REDACTED] the Brotherhood is known to have, a series of complex [REDACTED] was created and several subjects were found. All subjects were in several states of termination. Results are categorized below.
Subject A: This subject was suffering from severe burn damage all up his entire spine leading up to his lungs and head. The subject had not undergone the evolutional process to gas and as a result, charred tissue coated the inside of the blackened and twisted armor. The subject was wearing a Kanohi Hau at the time of acquisition. Said Kanohi and a tissue sample have been placed into a storage facility at location [EXPUNGED] The rest of Subject A has been fully incinerated with remains being deposited in the river below [EXPUNGED].
Subject B: This subject appears to be using gold and black armor, however, there is a massive gash right in between his armor and there seems to be no sign of any organic material. It is assumed this subject fully evolved and was terminated by an unknown third party. The subject's mask was a Kakama and there was an undamaged Twilight Blade recovered as well. The Armor, Blade, and Mask have been sealed in a tomb at location [EXPUNGED].
Subject C: This subject appears to have passed from massive acid damage to the armor, with the leaking of vital gasses coming soon after. The key points of damage were the back. The subject's mask was a shattered Olmak. The parts of the Olmak have been sealed in location [EXPUNGED] and put under the guard of [EXPUNGED]. The body has been melted down and is set to be re-used in other projects.
Appearance: This matoran is of standard height with no unusual feats to mention in her build. The one unusual thing to note is the "hot pink" armor that is blinding to look at and is an awful color decision.
However, this brings up an interesting thing to note. This is the only Ga-matoran to actually go against the flow, so to speak. This is an intriguing find, as from my experience all Matoran are very much the same blithering idiots that I very much detest.
Abilities: To further elaborate, this subject has an intense knowledge of the higher sciences to the point where she has completely disregarded her fellow peers, and most have done the same to her. Exceptions include that Turaga when he wants something done, and her neighbor who seems to be a different degree of...interesting, of which I will elaborate in a future document.
Her strength is fairly pathetic, this is unusual for most matoran as they are workers by trade. However, this can probably be explained away by her "occupation" of practically only doing activities which she dreams worth her time. Said activities always being scientific in nature, this has led to a distinct lack of use of her muscles in all ways. This will be remedied.
Internals: Nothing to note, a quick read of her brain did however reveal a vast amount of complexity that is unusual for a matoran.
History: My interactions with this matoran were quite interesting to say the absolute least. Seeing as I look over my islands more thoroughly than some of my compatriots it should be to no surprise that I make frequent visits to the villages that inhabit them.
On visit 234 to Village C, I encountered the specific matoran in question. She was stationed right in the middle of the street tinkering with what appeared to be some sort of water filtration device, a device attached right to her hovel, but that's not the interesting part. She didn't quite look up as I walked up, but it was quite a fascinating development when she started demanding a specific tool she needed from what she assumed was her neighbor.
I am quite sure my surprise was quite realized when she realized her error. The smooth clicks of gears twisting as she looked up were something I won't quite forget. Of course, when she decided to double down I quickly realized she was either classified as either incredibly foolish or stupidly brave. It is a good thing that my personal thoughts on the matter are that they are both the same thing.
However, what caused my original pause was the blaringly pink armor. This was enough to make me not smite her from existence then and there for her insolence. However, I must say my patience is way above that of my fellow comrades. I was right to think there was something more to this one. Poking around her head revealed all sorts of delectable information. She has now been placed as my assistant. I hear that's a thing my compatriots do with them. Why not?
Addendum 1:
Gatora has proven to be quite a capable assistant. I have not often found myself enjoying the company of matoran. I do my job, and I am hated for it. That is how we play our lot in life, and that is how the fools take it. However, the success of the job itself is the pleasure.
However, despite being more unpleasant. I appreciate intellect, and unlike my peers who scheme and lie. I have found her to not care enough to do so. I find this behavior amusing enough, although if she continues her exploits I may be forced to intervene.
Addendum 2:
There is more. There is much more to be known. I have found it. However, I do not know what I have found. I make this now as a way to think things out. I know something is hidden in her history, but I do not know what. There is more to know about this world. I have found glimpses of things lodged deep in this matoran's subconscious. Two tall toa-like individuals, almost but not quite. They are in some sort of vehicle. I do not know what.

Appearance: It holds a very ornate appearance, being crafted out of a gold-plated protosteel, with the exception of the blade, which is wavier, and clearly made for sawing through surfaces.
Abilities: Opens portals on contact with solid surfaces. Portals appear on surfaces and if movement is made towards them it will slice through the object in question. There is no control over where these portals open and it is presumed that it is a randomized situation. It cannot cut through intangible objects as has been tested thoroughly on Rahkshi at location [Expunged]
Internals: The sword itself appears to be made up of a set amount of Olmak Kanoka disks acquired at some point from [EXPUNGED]. It clearly functions a lot like the mask itself, however, instead of controlled portals it works off vibrations of the disks embedded into the blade. All in all, a simplistic design with no moving parts to take advantage of.
History: The design of this weapon appears to have been coined by Makuta Edna in her long quest to create a plethora of impractical superweapons. Whether such events were found amusing by [EXPUNGED] and the supplies were provided is a theory that has been coined by peers. Needless to say, this weapon is pointless and thankfully, for the sake of future locations she seems to have taken to projectile-based weaponry and we will not be experiencing any more of these anomalous objects.
