Species: Human. I'm pretty certain of that. Kanohi: Kanohi Bluglass, Mask of Anti-Glare Prescription Glasses Weapons and Equipment: Equipment: Flat caps. A wallet. A driving permit.
Weapons: I have an awesome katana on my wall.
IC: "Are you trying to attract predators, or did that just not occur to you?" a quiet, raspy voice asks from behind her.
IC: “Eh?” Teveren turns to find the source of the voice.
IC: She finds a Ga-Matoran, if a mutated one - almost as much Rahi as Matoran, with a warped Komau, clawed hands, and tail flicking idly behind her. She's perched on a nearby rock, watching Teveren with something that might be boredom or exasperation.
"You know. Rahi? Mutants? Lots of stuff down here looking for a good snack."

Come! Come and listen, my friends. Listen as I regale you with the next chapter in the legend of the Bionicle.

IC: Faxova looks away from Teveren and Irusi and the terrible machines and towards the others...or tries to, at least. "Everyone else alright? Anyone injured?"
***
Resh lands a few feet from Fax' and lets out a loud, theatrical sigh. "You're welcome for that last one, by the way. Big bug would have kept chasing us if I hadn't caved its skull in." He grins broadly and Faxova stares at him blankly. "So you made it," she says after a long pause.
IC: Irusí rejoins the others, quickly scanning over their position. "Oh, good, looks like everyone made it through okay. Resh, can you fly ahead and help Teveren and Doxthu? We're heading to the wide rock down there, the rest of us will be down in a minute."
IC: Doxthy has by now surgically removed fair chucks of delicate, muscular, and nervous tissue at he could reasonably find, carefully sorting each type into secure lab containers. He has only removed armor pieces from the tortoise's corpse as necessary to reach to fresh the he has harvested, setting scavenged armor at a neat pill to the side.
In a flash of inspiration, Doxthu has an idea to further utilize the mutated rahi's remains. He reaches for the nearest leg of the creature, or shoulder should the leg not be in a safe position, and attempts to drag the body further onto the rock. There he hopes to completely harvest the leg, or has much as he can of it. He begins to pull, but he realizes just how heavy the tortoise actually is. Not wanting to slip into the water from failing to drag the tortoise up, he cries out to the follow matoran yet to enter to swamp.
"Dear brothers and sisters, I need your assistance. I cannot drag this beast onto the shore by myself."
Oh the joys of role playing and writing, lots of writing, and having terrible spelling.

IC: Faxova scampers behind Irusi like a very anxious shadow. "No one's dead, good, good," she mumbles more to herself than anyone else. "Anyone injured at all?"
Resh gives a theatrical sigh and swats his pack. "Fine," he grunts. The Bo-Matoran rockets through the air above them, and coasts toward Tev' and Dox'. He lands a few paces away from the two. "Hello! Hello, hello, do you need help with something, or did I waste more fuel checking on you because the others wanted me to-?"
His gaze flits toward Doxthu tinkering with the corpse, and then shoots to the newcomer. "I see you found a friend Tevvy," Resh says casually. His eyes are narrow and his smile as welcoming as the swamp waters around them. "Do they bite, or are they the plant-eating kind?" His hand rests by the mace at his side.

IC: Doxthu makes a pained grunt as he tries to pull on an open part of a leg, struggling greatly to move the appendage in a careful manner across the rock. He stops for a second to breath, only half listening to what Resh says.
"Brother Resh, I do not wish to entertain the thought of being eaten alive by a mutant beast," He says with a heavy breath. "Although if I can find one with an intact stomach I should be able to answer that question. Perhaps if I could find a living subject I could........"
He stops what he was about to say as he turns around, finally noticing the presence of the new mutated matoran arrival. He instinctively gulps, his neck and upper chest oscillating forward as he does so. Doxthu slowly gets back on his feet, not taking his eyes off of the newcomer as the wait for what they might do.
Oh the joys of role playing and writing, lots of writing, and having terrible spelling.
IC: "Teveren," she replies, leaning as close towards Syrhen as she can to inspect her. "Have you been living in the swamps?"
IC: "Living is a strong word." She glances over the group one more time. "What, is that your plan?" Dull eyes shift briefly to fix on Resh, but she doesn't acknowledge his question.

IC: "Oh, Resh, this is Syrhen! I don't know what she eats!" Teveren turns back to Syrhen and tilts her head. "It is a good question, though. What do you eat in this swamp?" Teveren steps around Syrhen, noting more aspects of her mutant anatomy. "We were sent from the stalactite village to look for resources–wow, a tail?!–so we can build a machine to escape Karda Nui!"

IC: Doxthu hears the criticism from Syrhen and ponders it for a split second, and does a short cough to get Syrhen's attention. "Synthesizing nourishment from biological matter is a easy task for me." Doxthu does a side glance to the corpse, "And I have plenty of matter to work with."

Alia had kept quiet during the interaction. However, now that food was being talked about she perked up, "Oh, na, na," she shook her head slowly as she walked over, clunking as she did so. The suit that covered up most of her body clearly encumbering her, "I braught, these," she reached with a gloved hand into a small satchel compartment and pulled out a hefty foul smelling brick, "I gat sereral of these, mix-a berries and the 'ike, powers far days after absorbin.'"

IC: Resh looks blankly at Teveren, and Syrhen, and Doxthu in turn. "I'm sorry, you just found someone living here? Here? And you're sure she's not a...a Krahli or...whatever that shapeshifting Rahi was, I don't remember the name." He eyes Syrhen and then Lithia. "...huh, that looks neat. Good thinking."

IC: "I don't live down here," Syrhen snaps, "I spend a lot of time on the move. It's quieter."
"Usually."
She looks over the group again, grumbling quietly to herself. She really wasn't in the mood to babysit today, but it seemed she didn't have a choice.

IC: “Well, this meeting must be destiny!” Teveren cheered. “You have knowledge we don’t that’ll help us survive and navigate in the swamps!”

"Fine. Whatever."
IC: Resh smiles broadly and releases the mace, waving a hand instead. "Well in that case, hello new best friend! I'm Resh, this is Tev', that's Lith', and we're all going to get along great and leave here alive with all the necessary parts and not drag each other down in infighting!"

IC: "I concur," Doxthu exclaims, going to back dragging the rest of the tortoise's corpse on the rock. "And as our first exercise in unity, working.. upon.. this... rock.." he states with shallow breath as he exerts himself physically.
