The magical Beta seven force fields surround both of the intruders. "No, you shouldn't be here." Touching the barrier would cause the being inside to be violently thrown backwards with the hundred fold strength of that applied to it ...into the other side, which would do exactly the same.
The entity continues its limp like walk, passing right through the forcefield by means unknown to those watching. It's choked voice spits out more words, "He wants it back!" The entity is within mere feet of Galaxia now, Galaxia yelling to be released.
EEEERRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! Wrong!
Kestoa 46 has been to countless worlds, and has a pretty good guess on who this being is and what's it's capabilities are... which is why she chose the magic Beta seven force fields, because no amount of extra-planar projection, sub-space submersion, or detachment from the physical realm could get someone out of this.

But it's not from any world. It's from a place that exists in between the folds of each universe, a type of entity yet to have any recorded encounter.

Sure, he wasn't ever recorded, but infinite others like him were. Infinite universes, infinite possibilities.

Ehm.
Can I have details on both these shields and Galaxia?
It just so happens that these fields do not work on canon MU and SM species, objects, or technologies, but does work on extra terrestrials and most beings from other universes that differ from the prime reality.

How's this work, exactly?
Stolen technology from universe Ziggy-PurplePineapple-949,494,949,494,949,494,949.494949494949494949494947-Pizza-Slash/slash/slash-dash-dash-hashtag-Squidink. Their technology is oddly specific, and overrun with makuta from several universes similar to the Prime reality. That universe is expected to survive at least five more seconds before the rahkshi manage to crowd it into destruction, which to them will be two seconds.
The technology works by fanon and hyper-scientific means, targeting beings who do not have a dimensional resonance local to this SM. It's a bit like a Kiril/Hau/Crast/Pakari/Powerlance/Avsa field, but it extends to the extra planes that universe Ziggy-PurplePineapple-949,494,949,494,949,494,949.494949494949494949494947-Pizza-Slash/slash/slash-dash-dash-hashtag-Squidink happens to know about.

Infinite universes, sure. But only one Hellworld. I'm going to use an Multiverse that you might have heard before to explain. Think of The Multiverse as a bubble bath. Each universe acts as its own separate bubble. All similar, yet different slightly. The hellworld is the water, hence there being only one hellworld. And the only way an encounter with any Hell Knight or variant of such entities would occur is if someone left the proverbial universe bubble and entered the hellworld. Though none would be able to leave, sole exception being Galaxia due to The Oracle pulling him out.

Galaxia is a Toa of air that was brought from the TSW Universe by Frost to assist in preventing Apollyon in conquering the universe. Since then he has accidentally travelled to the hellworld where he obtained a Hellstone, giving him powers similar to a Hell Knight. His escape was only possible due the intervention of the disembodied consciousness of Frost, The Oracle.

Mmk, who's the mysterious evil dude then.
Also what's a hellknight, hellstone, and hellworld

OOC: You do realize that the bubble bath comparison is meant for the mass public, right? Because that is the exact opposite of how the theory on the multiverse works, but it helps calm down people's nerves. Each universe is more like a membrane, with open super strings latched onto it making sub atomic particles which depend on their vibration. The popular closed, ''free floating'' super strings are allowed to, "float" away and pass through other universes. Our universal membrane is also comprised of one of these closed strings, but stretched out infinitely , so if two universes touched in any way (think of the vibrations being altered, the vibes of the universe) then both of them would immediately be overloaded with energy. ZAP! You wouldnt even have time to say, "-!" The only thing each universe has in common is Gravity, the only fundamental force not latched on to our universal membrane, and thus leaking out into other universes like a closed super string. If there was a "water" as you proposed, then each "bubble" would suddenly be bound to a space/force which would pull everything together, and as I said, this would be very, very bad.
However, if you were trying to give an example of the Void, then sure. Just remember that many users have RPCs which have been there quite frequently.

A hellstone is an artifact from the hellworld, the evil dude is a helllnight variant, and see the topic The Hellworld.

At this point I don't see why we need to debate the details on a theoretical idea that has many variations. The original question was whether someone in The Multiverse would have had a recorded encounter with the entity, and the answer until this point in RP time is no.

Sounds like they could have had a recorded encounter with someone just like him or someone with the same powers or ten people who each had one of your powers

Except the question isn't whether someone encountered an entity with the same powers, but the same entity. And given the nature of the hellworld, essentially being a large pocket dimension from which normal means cannot be used to escape, a recorded encountered would be impossible.

I never said there was, but there most certainly is a universe with someone who is pretty much exactly the same, just in a universe instead of this, "water."
IC: The fields, which have been primed for entities exactly like the one it is holding now -save for their different home universes- continue to hold the being in place.

OOC: A similar entity may have been encountered, but it would still be far from a hell knight. The only origin of the hell knights are from the hellworld, a place of which there are no alternates.
IC: The hell knight uses its connection to the hellworld to reduce its physical form in this universe, creating a shadow it's itself that passes unfazed through the field, continueing its shambling toward Galaxia.

Can I just point out that you don't have to know every detail of how something works to block it? If you can block tank rounds, you can also block bullets even though a 120mm HEAT shell is far from that.
