Uh.... ok, one, Vhisorak are rahi, therefore legal, two, I never said use Roodaka herself, just her favored type of mutation rohtuka. So for that all you have to say is someone hit him with some lesser version of one that only managed to really change his head and a bit of his body.
Actually. The Vhisorak venom thing works. I'll edit it in.
Appearance: (Photo Provided, he is the silver black and red character)
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: Lynis wields a sword made from unknown type of steel, that can somehow store small bits of his power for stronger strikes. This was made by his mentor and was given to Lynis after completing his apprenticeship with him and after joining the Order of Mata Nui.
He also wields a staff he created with a sharpened Makuta wing, coated in melted metal and affixed to a staff made from a strong tree found in Le-Koro.
He also wears a Skrall Shield as a means to block out the sun, and doubles as a shield.
Personality: Trusting, hardworking, and thoughtful, despite the appearance.
Background:
Lynis comes from Metru Nui, and was once a Dark Hunter in the past before the Great Cataclysm, But he looked different. He wore a black Mask of Stealth, and could easily pass as a Toa because of his old appearance. Shortly after joining the dark hunters, He was tasked to dispose of a certain group of mutated vhisorak, who were running amok amongst Metru Nui.
His partner betrayed him and broke His mask, using Lynis's armour later on as a means of showing the other Hunters what the punishment COULD be if they had betrayed one of their fellow hunters. He also, with the help of an unknown scientist, fused some that same Vhisoraks Venom into Lynis's body, causing a few wild mutations, such as the ever prominent Rahkshi head and the oddly designed biomechanical changes such as his back and shoulders, which had expanded and enlarged because of this.
He stood up against the hunters after coming into conscience. He did manage to wind one of them enough that they had bellowed the names of the beings who mutated his armour and ruined his life. Lynis exited the hideout of the Dark Hunters.
He wandered Metru Nui days on end. Until he witnessed the Great Cataclysm from afar. As he watched Metru Nui crumble, he changed his outlook. He knew what had to be done. He Seemed out the Order of Mata Nui. After joining, the Order took a look at his genes and personally requested a trainer for Lynis.
They also decided to perform tests, as the dark energy given to him by the Hunters was slowly eating away as his mind and body, growing almost cancerous.
So they asked an Unknown Light Matoran to spare some energy and use it to purge the energy from Lynis's body with his Light energy. They tried it, leaving a small bit of it for him to maintain.
Unfortunately, it grew a mind of its own, and grew into a second conscience named Ohura. The exact opposite of Lynis, he is pure evil despite the appearance. He still retains the Rahkshis head, but has more Rahkshi elements to his body and a more sadistic way of thinking, and in multiple cases acts like a Rahkshi. The more disturbing part is the fact that Ohura can physically inhabit Lynis's body, able to possess it and change Lynis's armour and personality, into that of his own.
The trainer, of whom his name is not known, after finishing his training with Lynis, fashioned Lynis a sword made from an unknown type of Metal, which can store energy from the user for stronger strikes. Lynis also has his Bow staff and combat hand to hand training.
He has since changed to the side of good and despite the appearance, convinced the Toa that he could be trusted and that he meant no harm.
He isn't a Toa, but is considered to be worth called one.

Creators note:
Ok I know the image contains G2 parts but keep in mind, this is the MOST RECENT picture I currently have of him, as i no longer have any Bionicle pieces anymore. Sorry.
Eeeehhhhh, well, other than somehow having wood from Le-Koro, I think that should be fine.
"You're a Toa? Wow, that is so amazing. You must feel SO GREAT, with all your fancy powers, being a MACHINE protecting other MACHINES!"

(no MOC for you just bad ms paint and microsoft word photo editing) Background: Short Version:
He can't forget anything. He built a bunch of the GSR's internal mechanisms at the commands of some great beings and he got mechanical knowledge from remembering that, knowing that he was made as a machine made him rebel and refuse to work, was going to be one of the first Matoran sent to Karzahni but he ran away and made a house, but it got destroyed in the Great Cataclysm so he wants to kill all the Makuta to get revenge.
Bakud was first created by the Great Beings during the construction of the Matoran Universe, which he aided in. Bakud, along with several other Matoran, were made to serve as the hands of Great Beings who oversaw the construction of many of the GSR's internal mechanisms, such as the gravitational equipment and the motors and servos of the limbs, which Bakud helped construct along with many other Matoran. Later on, he gained a personality along with the rest of the denizens of the Matoran universe, as the glitch spread throughout the populace. Most Matoran and Toa had forgotten the specifics of their history, had forgotten that they were made to be little more than machines, and that the Great Beings and Great Spirit never cared about their lives and happiness.
But Bakud did not forget, for he cannot forget anything. He remembered the Great Beings who ordered him around while he toiled, talking amidst themselves about him in his presence as if he weren't there. He remembered every last word they exchanged, one of them deriding him and the rest of the Matoran on the basis that they could have done a much better job making maintenance machines.
As his personality emerged, it came fundamentally opposed to the ethics other Matoran held dear. He rejected the idea that he would be a mere machine, following the orders of the Great Beings. In Metru-Nui, where he resided at the time his personality developed, he actively refused to work, openly challenging other Matoran and trying to get them to reject their duty in the name of freedom. However, operating under the assumption that everyone else had the same perfect memory he did, he ended up coming across as a cross-wired madman, and was one of the first Matoran sent to Karzahni when he started accepting them.
Bakud managed to ditch the Matoran sent to escort him there, and made his way to the southern continent. On one of the few parts of the continent's shoreline both uninhabited and relatively safe, he slowly set about creating a residence from scratch. He used knowledge gained from working on the power systems of the Great Spirit to create a device capable of recharging him, which he eventually integrated into himself after hundreds of years of slow, incremental progress. He exerted effort for himself and himself only, building a minimalist home from scratch. He spend his days in a form of leisure, staring off at the water for hours upon hours, regularly maintaining his home and surveying his surroundings. The way his mind worked, he could relax when presented with a minimum of new information to take in, leading him to regularly change his home so that every scratch and every bump on every rock stayed exactly the same. He spent many days whiling away his time, and enjoyed his freedom and leisure.
Then, the Great Cataclysm occurred. He was north of Voya Nui, but nonetheless, his home was irreparably destroyed.
He tried to put it back together, but failed. He spent years finding similar rocks and other materials, and he made a structure that would have been indistinguishable from his old home to any other being, but Bakud remembered how each bump was supposed to go, and tried to make it the same again, spending years on the process. Eventually, after years of trying to get every single fixture perfect, he gave up. Not long after, a Toa came in passing, searching for Matoran in danger from the damage caused by the Great Cataclysm, which he mentioned was the result of the Makuta's actions, in rebellion to the Great Spirit. Learning that the Makuta destroyed his house, Bakud swore to eradicate them all as revenge for what they had done, building weapons for himself before departing.
Personality: Insufferable. If someone is a believer in the Great Spirit, like a Toa or other Matoran, he will try to start an argument with them no matter what, and won't respect their decisions or acknowledge their thoughts, seeing them as "machines" and treating them to a helping of condescending empathy. He's the kind of person who is legitimately convinced that incessantly needling people on their views is a way to bring positive change to the world.
However, when dealing with those who don't believe in the Great Spirit, Bakud is even more insufferable. He is quite literally unable to forget a grudge, and will form them over the most minor offenses. He will go to any length to get back at the targets of his grudges, and will only be satisfied once they are hurt in pride or body. In his mind, the Makuta and their allies owe him respect, because he was the first one to rebel against the Great Spirit. Whether or not his "rebellion" consisted of anything more than one Matoran angrily ranting and refusing to do his job is completely irrelevant in his mind. To not only refuse to give him any respect, but to break his house on top of that? Unforgivable.
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities:
Perfect Eidetic Memory: Bakud is unable to forget anything. While this would realistically have numerous detrimental side-effects, his mind either developed in tandem with the loads of information stored within him or was made to process this information without difficulty, conferring several benefits:
Mechanical Knowledge: From working on the Great Spirit to seeing how things work on a day-to-day basis, Bakud has an advanced sense of mechanics and kinestheology. This allows him to predict others' movements with more accuracy than the most grizzled of combatants.
Knowledge of the World: Bakud knows how to reach some of the inner workings of the GSR, how to effectively transverse the Matoran Universe, and the true nature of the Matoran Universe. However, his knowledge is incomplete, as he has never seen the outside of the GSR, being created late in its construction process, leading him to believe Mata Nui is supreme and not, in fact, just another servant of the Great Beings himself.
Effective Telepathic Resistance: Mind-reading abilities technically work on Bakud, but it would take days to get a speck of useful information out of him amidst centuries of everything Bakud sees, hears, and thinks every single day.
Synergy with "Flashback" Rhotuka: In tandem with Bakud's perfect memory, the Rhotuka's timing is perfectly understood and controlled by Bakud. When a target is struck, Bakud knows the exact position and location they get reset to before the spinner even hits, allowing Bakud to strike to great effect.
Inaccessible Elemental Powers: As a Ba-Matoran, Bakud has an innate connection to the element of gravity. This allows him to resist heavy gravitational pressure.
"Flashback" Rhotuka: Two modified Rhotuka launchers mounted on his inner forearms allow Bakud to use his Rhotuka power on himself and on others. Bakud's Rhotuka, upon hitting a target, takes it back to a previous "state," from a few seconds before it hit. The more the spinner is charged, the further back in time it goes, but the rates of charging/the effect received makes it so, effectively, the maximum charge strength brings a target "back" to about 2 seconds before the spinner started charging. (So if Bakud saw someone injured, immediately started charging up in response, and fired after a full turn of charging, he would be able to take them back to before the injury). Can be used to heal injuries on himself and others, and reposition/disorient his opponents, who from their perspective see Bakud and others teleport. Bakud is the only one who remembers the seconds lost when hit with his Rhotuka.
Inventions and Creations: Bakud is capable of using his experience from working on the GSR to construct various devices. Listed below are those he currently has that are only really useful to him, further inventions will be submitted as he develops them.
Mini-Generator: Allows Bakud to run indefinitely without relying on food or recharging. Integrated into his body.
Motorboat: A small, one-Matoran boat with a simple motor. Allows Bakud to travel by sea without being disturbed or relying on others.
Whip-Sword-Spine Thing: A weapon Bakud created after resolving to fight the Makuta, which he never bothered naming. The weapon is lightweight, and resembles a sword-whip, but is in fact entirely prehensile and controlled by the wielder through byzantine mechanisms that would take centuries to master... for anyone other than Bakud, who figured out exactly how to move it as if it were a fifth limb after about an hour of practicing with it. The weapon's joints were created by Bakud with his experience working on the Great Spirit's, and have more strength to them than the average Toa has in their arms, packing a surprising punch. However, the weapon is not all that sharp, nor is it comprised of protosteel, making it completely ineffective against Makuta armor.

This is amazingly well thought and I am loving this character! 'Oly 'eck... I should probably get more invested in better though out/written character description and lore research again...

Name: Unknown Alias: Lockdown Species: Glatorian Affiliation: Dark Hunters Powers: None Technology and Weapons: Lockdown uses a variety of weapons and tech to compensate for his lack of natural powers. He’s given himself numerous cybernetic enhancements for increased strength and stamina, as well as more durable armor. He has a device permanently attached to each wrist capable of extending whip like tendrils that can deliver ‘shocking’ results to anyone they wrap around. He possesses a prototype forcefield generator which runs on ’kanoka cartridges’, requiring replacements when low. He also possesses a standard metallic projectile rifle, or MPR for short, of his own design. History: To be revealed... (aka I don’t know but I’ll think of something eventually)

* sighs * Well, a reason would be nice, but I guess he's fine.

Name: Sombril
Species: Makuta
Element: Shadow
Gender: Male
Kanohi: Sombril has the Kanohi Faxon, Tryna, and Felnas. He typically wears the Faxon.
Appearance: Sombril's usual form is the size and shape of a toa, clad in the pure white and silver of a ko-toa with eyes of welcoming yellow. As other Makuta can sense his presence, this deceives only his enemies into believing he is a toa. He uses this form to mock and disparage the name of the toa.
Weapons/Equipment: Protosteel armor, arsenal including a protosteel pick/scythe-hammer and a rhotuka launcher. Sombril's rhotuka power drains the target's moral light in proportion to how long it was charged. Unless it drains their morality to the point they refuse the light entirely, this is temporary.
Other: Sombril particularly hated having to personally maintain the ecology of the universe lest he be punished by the great spirit. Now that Mata Nui is dead, he relishes in disassembling that carefully balanced ecology to spite the matoran that never gave him thanks. He will make it a point to turn everything they ever loved or took for granted against them until they relent and give the Makuta their honest praise.
Kanohi:Mask of Charisma (resembles a Garai), Mask of Mutation (somehow defective and prone to malfunction, can sometimes result in uncontrolled mutation)
Sleek and slender, Zuvahl's armor appears to have been crafted to only augment his inherent stealth abilities. His bat-like wings typically wrap around his form much like a cloak when not in direct use, shielding his body as well as containing hidden weaponry.
Powers/Abilities: As a charismatic manipulator and serial schemer, one could make a case for the idea that his venomous words are his most powerful weapon -- if he didn't already have a full arsenal of Kraata powers. Rather than brute force and military power, the Makuta prefers to meld with the shadows, utilizing stealth and disruption as his tools of warfare. Because of this, he vehemently defends the merits of infiltration over direct assault.
Weapons/Equipment: In his efforts to maintain an inconspicuous profile, most of his weapons are concealed or otherwise hidden. Various protosteel daggers carved for both throwing and shredding steel with serrated edges are sheathed in his wings. He also possesses a pulse scepter, a long-range weapon that fires relatively slow moving blasts of devastating disruptive energy, particularly useful for vehicles and other large machinery. Tends to fair poorly in close combat situations unless the target is somehow unable to dodge the blast.
Other: Despite his penchant for infiltration which tends to be a rather solitary affair, Zuvahl actually works surprisingly well with other Makuta. His manipulative personality appears to be counterbalanced by what seems to be an approximation of less antisocial qualities than his brethren. When he isn't involved in a mission or some manner of overly elaborate scheme, he often dabbles in reckless biological experimentation -- an exercise that also doubles as a particularly persuasive interrogation tactic.

Appearance: Regulus is a leader-class Skrall bearing orange markings.
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: A large sword and Thornax launcher in his hands, with four Skrall tribal design blades mounted in articulated points on his armor for use either when disarmed or to provide an extra edge in combat. He owns, but does not always use, a saw blade shield.
Background: Regulus is the last of the leader-class Skrall after all of his peers were wiped out by the Baterra after the Core War. He has brought the Skrall south of the Black Spike Mountains to Roxtus, which the Skrall have completely overtaken. The Skrall now participate in the southern tribes' "Glatorian" system while they devise a plan to destroy their competition permanently.
The Toa Valmai consist of five (formerly six) Toa from the Tren Krom Peninsula, who earned their name because they protected a region known as "Valmai Wahi" along the Tren Krom Peninsula. The Tren Krom Peninsula is a hazardous wasteland that has forced the Toa Valmai to adopt unorthodox methods of protecting their Matoran. These methods have made them something of outcasts to the Toa community, although their skills are still respected. Their deceased member, a Toa of Plasma, remains unnamed.
Name: Bledis
Element: Stone
Kanohi: Mask of Rebounding
Appearance: Tan, black
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: Two relatively small hammers to strike objects toward opponents.
Background: Bledis once protected a small city called Po-Nui before it was overrun by the Visorak Horde. Bledis barely escaped with his life and spend several years wandering the Tren Krom Peninsula killing Visorak and occasionally performing odd jobs at villages. He met Destau and Valodak at one village, Kini-Koro, and formed a team with them. This team grew into the Valmai. Name: Vazas
Element: Iron
Kanohi: Volitak
Appearance: Bronze, burnt orange
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: Due to his element, he carries no permanent weapons. He occasionally manifests a Rhotuka spinner, whose power is to cause targets to completely forget what they were doing.
Background: Vazas once protected a village known as Ba-Koro before it was demolished by Makuta Inharax to test one of his Rahi abominations. Inharax then abandoned the Rahi, leaving it to terrorize the wastes until Vazas brutally killed it by abusing his elemental powers. Vazas was recruited by the Toa Valmai after the fledgling team witnessed him using his powers to force three Vortixx bandits to kill one another. Name: Destau
Element: Plantlife
Kanohi: Mask of Adaptation
Appearance: Green, blue
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: Dual broadswords that can be combined into oversized shears.
Background: Possibly the only moral member of the Valmai, Destau simply allows the other Toa to commit the atrocities he cannot. Destau originally belonged to a team with Valodak, although the other seven members of the team were slowly killed off by Rahi incursions. They defended a small village called Kini-Koro -- effectively some huts set around a shrine to Mata Nui -- and resided in an inn until confronted by Bledis, who convinced them that they could better defend the entire region by leaving Kini-Koro and helping him to exterminate threats across the Peninsula. Name: Pevil
Element: Magnetism
Kanohi: Akaku, Rode
Appearance: Gunmetal grey, black
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: A Polar Spear made of hundreds of tiny, magnetic shards. Pevil can command them to separate either partially or wholly.
Background: Pevil does not admit it to his team, but for many years he roved the Peninsula as a criminal, murdering, robbing, and extorting. An encounter with the Valmai, especially their Su-Toa, changed his perspective, and he joined them. Though all the Toa Valmai can access a copy of the others' masks at their Suva, Pevil carries the Rode originally worn by their deceased member as a keepsake. To ensure that he remembers his fallen comrade, he has painted the mask a dark orange so that it does not change color when worn. Name: Valodak
Element: Sonics
Kanohi: Kualsi
Appearance: Grey, black
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: Unison Daggers: much like Echo Forks, the Unison Daggers cause a devastating sonic attack; unlike Echo Forks, the Unison Daggers produce a sound wave that will cancel out all other noise in the area. Their frequency can be altered by Valodak with his elemental powers.
Background: Valodak originally belonged to a team with Destau, although the other seven members of the team were slowly killed off by Rahi incursions. Valodak is known for rendering an entire guild of outlaws deaf by flooding their entire cave with attacks from his Unison Daggers.
Keplers All characters are approved. Out of curiosity, did the Toa Valmai join the Toa Alliance or are they off on their own still? Just so I know where to place them when I update the Faction topic later.
Name: Borom Species: Toa of Magnetism Gender: Male Appearance: Borom strikes an imposing figure, his lithe silhouette housed in angular gunmetal and silver armor.
Kanohi: Borom wears the Kanohi Tryna, Great Mask of Reanimation. Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: -Borom’s primary weapon is a Kanoka blade with the powers of a Kanohi Hau, allowing it to generate a shield in front of himself on command. -In his offhand Borom carries a Rhotuka launcher. Borom’s Rhotuka have an effect like a beacon, drawing the attention of those nearby to wherever or whoever it hits. In conjunction with his mask, it has the effect of guiding whatever swarms of undead he has activated, focusing their reignited malice upon a single point. -Borom has spent much time using his mask, honing his mind to allow him to use it for extended periods of time. -As often as he can Borom will surround himself with a horde of undead, allowing himself to have bodies on call rather than relying on whatever might surround him in his environment.
Personality: Borom is cunning and ruthless, allowing no one to come between himself and his goals. More often than not he burns with a cold fury, a volatile mix of narcisism and disdain for those around him. Background: Borom always thought highly of himself, though once upon a time his ego was directed to the task of protecting the innocent. That time has long since passed, swept away by the Makuta. Their attempted genocide of the Fa-Matoran and Toa changed him, causing him to throw the Toa Code aside in the name of revenge. He may not be able to truly bring back those lost, but at least he can return the favor.

The Valmai are not currently members of the Alliance, no.
Appearance: Oversized feet and long, Toa-like legs support a short body that could easily have come from a Matoran. Toa-like arms terminate in massive, clawed hands similar to Brutaka’s. On his small head is one massive eye and a large, powerful jaw.
Powers, Weapons, and Abilities: The Infinity Staff: capable of disabling powers either to individual targets or over a blanket area within a 50’ radius. The staff is tipped with a nasty blade to impale or cut opponents. “Shredder” is also capable of firing energy from his hands.
Personality: “Shredder” is soft-spoken and menacing, preferring to quickly finish fights and get on with his work. Though “Shredder” tends to fight alone, he is sometimes paired with specific other operatives.
Background: “Shredder” was born as a law enforcement project on Stelt, created from the body parts of criminals and Rahi and provided the Infinity Staff to nullify the powers of any lawbreakers on the island. The monster came to the Dark Hunters’ attention after he killed one of their operatives on Stelt. “Shredder” is now a loyal, capable member of the Dark Hunters, and his time with the organization has improved his ability to think independently.
